DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In the year 2023, the Curriculum of the DTU BTech course changed a bit making more lab work and practical knowledge using the latest research and technologies. Professors teach using smart boards and PPT. The Curriculum is still not perfect for real-world applications. The mechanical engineering of DTU is most valued and considered equivalent to IITs.

The placement of this university is very good. its average package is approximately twelve lakhs. After completion of 4th semester a student can got a internship and in 4th year many companies are coming for placements. Its highest package 1.2 crore (international).

Placements in my college is preety good .. the only thing you have to focus is you have to maintain your cgpa and you have to develop skills .. Bec companies offered roles on the basis of cgpa for example only 9+ cgpa can sit for the position which offer 25-30 lakhs .. so it's very important to take care of it throughout your 4 years of btech

Students become eligible for campus placements in 6th semester . Many big companies visit the college and there are very big offers each year and even offers upto 1.5cr have been made . The average package for CSE is 18 lpa and almost all CSE students that opt for placement get placed . My plan is to pursue higher education after degree.

DTU have a great record of placements in past every year over 2000 students sit for placements and around 80 to 90% of student gets oncampus placements with top recuriters like Google, facebook, Amazon, Codenation, DE-shaw, Uber etc. In 2022-23 highest package was 64 lpa with average package of 15lpa. But due to high competion in college itself a student must have to prepare for placement good enough.

We get placement in DTU on basics of our skills and knowledge. DTU have good placement percentage allthough the Companies come itself for the recuitments In this year 1821 placed in this placement drive and recieved1990 offers

Course curriculum is good all students go through it and achieve great placements but also some parts of curriculum is not good as they look like due irrelevant or not in serialwise but at the end students go through it

For placements students are eligible from fourth year onwards. And for internships you can apply from third year onwards. A highest of 1.84 cr package was offered and average package goes to 15 LPA. For tech branches CSE, IT, SE average package goes to 20 LPA. This year due to recession around 55% students of tech branches are placed till to the date. If you are not able to crack placement within campus you can opt for off campus too.

Placement of DTU is pretty high as this college comes under the prestigious institutions of the country. If no employbility after the degree the I'm Gonna persue MBA degree after clearing CAT examination.

I am still doing my degree so haven't experienced the placement yet but my seniors told most of them get placed and my branch (ece) had a median of 12 lakhs and half of the applied students got placed. Many top notch companies like uber, apple, Microsoft, goggle etc come here the tech placements too. I think median of cse Is 20 lakhs plus. Highest was 1 cr from amazon last year. My plans were masters from the start. So highly unlikely I will be sitting for placements but if anyone's planing to sit, considering the no of companies and skill set you have you will get placed.
