DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placement for B. Tech was around 50% this year because of recession. My course had the most percentage of placement in core after mechanical. The average package lurked around 10L/year. The tech placement was around 60%.

Nearly 45% students gets placed (Civil engineering)in some renowned companies and organisations. students can apply for placements after 6th semester. highest package given till to this date is 1.2crore rupees. i plan on doing Mtech after this.

Since, right now I'm in 2nd year at DTU, All I have heard about placements from seniors is that placements are good at DTU. You just have to maintain a good CGPA. Placements has seen a drop in 2023 batch because of recession but overall the placements are good.

From starting of 7th semester u are eligible to applies in company according to there criteria. Every big name like apple ,google ,Microsoft came in dtu for recruitment. The highest packege this year is quit low because of down market highest a is 82 lpa and average is 15 lpa.

Placements of DTU are very good. But in the recent years placements have fallen due to the recession going on. The average package here is about 18 lakh per annum while my branch engineering physics offers the median package of 800000 per anum the highest package offered was 24 lacs per annum when the lowest package offered was 3 lakhs per annum and the median was 7.5 lakhs approx 40% of a students gets placed on the campus and 20% gets of campus placements. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job and contribute to the goodness of the society. Every good company like Amazon Facebook Flipkart Google Apple adobe come in our college to provide placement opportunities number of offers made by 40 out of every 100 students

Delhi Technological University has a good track of placements. Many students secure a good offer from reputed companies in India and abroad. Adobe, Google, Microsoft tend to come in search of talented designers. Apart from job opportunities, some students often opt for higher studies in India as well as abroad. Highest package was bagged by a design a student of 45LPA. The average package ranges from 9LPA-15LPA.

After 2nd years college run a internship program for 3rd years and placement after 4th year . I am not placed yet but sadly for my branch the employability rate is around 50 percent or lower this I want to pursue my career in tech and not in core which is why took this branch mainly as 80 percent of the tech companies which come to dtu is open for ep students Maximum ctc for ep student was 38.67 lacs for 2024 batch and minimum not mentioned You dont have to much worry about the companies because almost every company comes here

From 6th semester the student can get the internship from the college which is very important for the campus placement and from the 7th or 8th semester they can sit in the placements round for the interview. The companies that visit our campus are Apple Google Microsoft Amazon Nvidia Samsung etc and number of offers are generally made around 70-80% of the total number of students Highest package will be around 1 or 2 CR The average package will be around 15 lacs Around 70% of the students get placed My plans after getting the degree is to get a good job

In the last year of the course, companies start visiting the campus for placements. Last year, the highest package for BBA was around 12L. Personal advice would be to not depend on college for placements and keep upgrading yourself and try applying off campus also.

The average package that Companies are offering is about 10lpa. But because of resession there was downfall in the placement percentage. There is a drop of almost around 20% in the number of offer made to the B.tech students.
