My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

One of the best on campus placements in India.
Infrastructure is just too good and campus is very big.
Peer group at IIT delhi is very good and it motivates you to go ahead in life.

Dislikes

Sometimes the food in mess is not that good.

Placement Experience:

After 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is a body named ocs, which takes care of all the opportunities I e internship and placements. This year placement season hasn't ended yet and hence we don't know the full statistics. Almost all students that opt for placement get a placement. My plan after my degree is to sit in the placement season and get a decent placement

In the college we can meet very different people
In library there various type of books and article
the campus life is fantastic atmosphere is also good

Dislikes

the room are so small to adjust each other

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose IIT Delhi above any other smaller IIT because I want a higher degree of exposure here, and there are enough professors and a good teacher-to-student ratio. The tests here are quite challenging, and passing them requires at least one week of diligent preparation. The professors are really highly qualified.

The average life at IITD

Likes

Campus Life is great.You get everything.
You get to explore different kind of people.
You don't have to worry about placement if you develop your skills.

Dislikes

Rooms are very very small here.Seems like single rooms are converted to double.
75% attendance criteria.It sucks literally.
Distance between hostel and LHC.(It is like 1km).Also Boys and girls hostel are seperate :(.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are very great. The so-called 'Quant' companies also come here. Because of this, you hear news like "4 crore salary offered to IITian".Other than the average salary and placement percentage is also pretty good.

I like that place and there culture and also speaking launguage.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In this course, I learn basic computer skills and mechanics. That is very well With respect to me. There are many students and faculty. All faculty members have PhD in specific subjects. And their teaching methods are very well. Teach like a friend. Exams are conducted within 3 months and some tests are organized in all chapters.

The level of exposure we get here is really exceptional
Doing projects under the guidance of highly qualified professor

Dislikes

Small sized rooms in the hostels where we are triple sharing a room
So many activities here don’t let an individual focus on one thing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I want more level of exposure here so I choose IIT Delhi over any other lower iits, there are enough faculty here and the ratio is good, The faculty here are very highly qualified, exams here are very difficult and at least needs 1 week of rigorous study before exam to score good grades

There are pre placement offers. Students from 7 and 8 semester are eligible for campus placements and after graduation. Various companies like Amazon, Infosys,Wipro and many others.almost all students get placed.

IIT Delhi was my dream college and being here feels amazing, the thing i like the most here are people, seniors and classmates are very friendly and supportive
Campus provides exposure in various domains
Excellent Infrastructure and sports facilities

Dislikes

A normal day here is quite hectic in terms of acads

Placement Experience:

The Campus Placement Stats of IIT Delhi is good. The highest package offered in 2023 was INR 2 crore per annum and the average was around 17.5LPA, however, the placement stats of my branch are not available as it is a new branch and the first placement will be next year.

IIT delhi in a nutshell

Likes

BRCA night was amazing. It's an event for the freshers.
Rendezvous was also amazing. It is a four day event.
Holidays are quite enjoyable here. You can go out for exploring delhi with your friends.

Dislikes

Minors were quite tough. The minor week is very hectic.
Majors always took our peaceful sleep from us
Some lectures were quite boring. You will feel sleepy during the class.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from 4th year. In December, companies visit our campus and conduct various rounds for hiring, including a coding round, IQ test and an interview. Approximately 90% of the students are placed.

A roller coaster ride : IIT Delhi

Sports facilities, Exposure, Events like fests
Rendezvous ia a biggest fest of northern india.
Where all big superstars come and gave as a glimpse of their talent

Dislikes

Its classe and study. Even weekends are not free.
Saturday is working for us and classes are the most annoying thing of days

Placement is very good at IiTs we all know it, but to make it done we need to work hard because studies at IIT demand time and sincerity. And all have placements here some high and some low but higher than others in college

IIT DELHI - dream college of many

Likes

Classroom infrastructure Is next generation . The Sport facility provided is very good
The roads in the campus are very smooth, which makes our travel easier from host
There are plenty of shops for students to buy their stuff. There are juice corners also for students to remain hydrated

Dislikes

The lectures also seem to be boring most of the time
The course load is very hectic so sometimes ithe students become very stressed

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester students become eligible for college placement There are several companies that visit the college and in numerable offers are made for students Most of the students who study consistently get placed in the college as it is the best college I still haven't explored much to comment on this

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season.
