My friend got a scholarship so i can verify it truly happens and is a great opportunity for students with low parental income to ease their parent's financial pressure
The college has really good placements, a lot of companies offer a lot of job opportunities and the packages are quite high as well.
Faculty expertise: iit delhi often attracts experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who are experts in their respective fields. students benefit from their guidance and mentorship.

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not as good as expected the meal is too bad.
The race academy curriculum at iit delhi can be intense and demanding a leading to high levels of stress and pressure among students
75 percentage criteria is not good. moreover, classes are whole day from 8am to 6pm.

IIT Delhi - Complete Review

Likes

The startup culture and how everyone is excited about it.
Sports facilities are unexpected and other co curricular activities.
Seniors are too helpful and approachable.

Dislikes

Rooms facilities and other infrastructure.
The academic pressure is too much here and can make it difficult.
The 75% attendance criteria for passing the course.

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for internships in the third year and placements in the fourth year. almost all the top companies come and offer a number of jobs every year. average package is around 28-30 lac per annum ctc.

Realities of IIT Delhi.

Likes

Sports facilities in the college are also impressive.
Entrepreneurship and coding culture is good too.

Dislikes

Courses offered in the first year are irrelevant
Boring teaching professors, feel sleepy always

Placement Experience:

UG students become eligible for placements in the fourth year, All the top-notch companies come to IITD, for example, Jane Street which offers a 4 cr package, optiver Amsterdam also offers in crores. more than 70 percent of students get placed overall in college. the percentage is much higher for circuital branches. I also plan for placement.

Likes

Sports culture is too gud with mordern equipments and nice coaches
Hostel life is also gud u interact with a lot of new people which is a necessary part of college life
Placements are too gud just u need to be w the flow

Dislikes

Academic pressure is not at all gud here

I am enrolled in chemical engineering I chose it because it is a chill branch and considered the best in the core branch as it is less hectic than another core branch, I was not getting a circuital branch in any old iit so I chose iitd.

Best decision to choose IIT Delhi

Infrastructure: IIT Delhi has excellent infrastructure be it the main building, lecture hall complexes, departmental buildings, library, research and development park, Mittal sports complex, Computer Services Centre, Bharti Building, IT Building, etc
Location: IIT Delhi is located in Hauz Khas which is a posh area in Delhi and is centrally connected via metro, bus, autos and cabs.
Reputation and rankings of IIT Delhi make the students feel blessed to be here.

Placement Experience:

From the end of the 7th Semester, students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited during the placement drive such as Microsoft, Google, Samsung, Jane Street, etc. About 800-1000 offers were made. The highest offer of 4 CR was made by Jane Street. The average package ranges from 20 to 25 LPA. About 92% of the last batch was placed. The remaining students chose off-campus placements or opted for higher studies.

IIT Delhi: The Perfect College?

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the lecture hall building.
There are many opportunities available in different fields.
There are facilities for many sports which can be taken up by you

Dislikes

There are clubs for students but in most of them they don't actually teach you
The administration's work ethic is not upto the mark. They will make you come again and again for the resolution of your issues
For an introvert, it is really hard to survive.

Placement Experience:

The OCS department is responsible for placements. Students from 3rd year onwards can sit for internships and placements. All major companies like Google, Microsoft, BCG, J.P Morgan, Accenture etc. come for recruiting.

Life at IIT Delhi

Likes

The campus has no curfew for girls or boys.
The infrastructure and the lecture halls

Dislikes

The hostel food and rooms are not up to the mark
The workload and the overall curicullum of exams

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are okayish with varying graphs each year. The average package offered by campus placements is 17.6 lpa. My plans are to sit for placements and for an internship before that. I have an interest in consultancy more than tech.

Life at IITs :)

i like greenery of the campus here. The campus is extremely beautiful
Sports facilities the campus provides us.
Various clubs for seeking broad knowledge.

Dislikes

I must mention that the pressure is pretty much high. There,s a lot of cademic pressure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I had a great interest in chemistry and maths from the start. There's one faculty for every 30 students. Professors are post-graduates and have a good level of knowledge. There are exams almost weekly quiz and vivas weekly. Mid-sem is every 2 months and the semester exam is every 4 months. The level of difficulty is next level. But the only problem is the course is outdated.

Review Of The Day.

Likes

Infra of the college is very good, all the classes are well equipped and supported with centralized AC.
There are lot of places for eating food (restaurants).
Location IIT Delhi is very good. It is surrounded by city and markets.

Dislikes

We have to travel long distance to go for the classes.
Climate of this reason is also vey extreme.
Also, Delhi is know for its pollution.

Placement Experience:

Placements are also very good. Avg. packed is around 20 lakhs. You are eligible for the placement in the 4th year of your degree. Also, lots of companies come for internships as well. The top companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, etc overall placement rate is 87%. My plan after getting the degree is to get into some of the companies mentioned above.

Campus Life is excellent,like exploring in different clubs.
Infrastructure of lecture halls are very good.
Placements are good with reasonable packages.

Dislikes

Hostel food very bad as there are no spices in it.
Size.this institute is very smallest iit compared to others.
Hostels very old hostels and lack of storages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main thing to choosing this department is of course placements. You get higher packages in the CSE department. Faculty are good. but you should study on your own or else, you will end up with backlogs. the exams here are very hard to pass as most of the people here are toppers from different places in India.

The endless opportunities for a person to choose from in all fields.
World class facilities for students. High investment in R and D.
Best sports facilities for the students. In all ways these account to overall personality development of students.

Dislikes

The huge academic pressure on the students.
The very bad gender ratio in college, the ratio here is 1:5
Constant comparison and competition amongst peers

Placement Experience:

We can avail of campus placements from the 4th year and internships from the 2nd year. There is a body OCS (office of Career Services) that helps students in their internship and job-related affairs. The overall procedure is very smooth. IITs are known for their placement opportunities. The average package is 16 lac per annum and the highest can go up to 3cr per annum.

How are the IIT Delhi hostel rooms?

The IIT Delhi hostel rooms are very comfortable and make you feel at home. The names of IIT Delhi hostels are based on the names of hill ranges of India- Aravali, Girnar, Himadri, Jwalamukhi, Kailash, Karakoram, Kumaon, Nilgiri, Satpura, Shivalik, Udayagiri, Vindhyachal and Zanskar. All the hostel rooms are two-seater. All the rooms are equipped with beds and almirahs. Water coolers are allowed inside the rooms during the summer season.
