IIT Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After 6 semesters students become eligible for placements and internships after 2yr though people rarely get internships after 2 years but all get them after 3yr during the summer break of the third semester everyone does internships. The highest package is 1 cr and the average is around 15 lakh per annum. Many big companies kike google Microsoft jp Moragna samsung quant companies big consultant companies also come here My branch placement percentage is quite high almost 98% of students get placements from campus. My plan is to work for 2 years and then pursue a master's from a foreign University.

After semester 6, placements take place. Many students get early jobs through internships. The placements are really good but you have to work for it. Top companies like Google, Microsoft etc. come here. Average package is around 23 LPA and highest package can go upto 4 crores.

IIT Delhi boasts excellent placement opportunities. Students become eligible for campus placements from their seventh semester. The highest package can exceed 40 LPA, with an average package around 15-20 LPA, depending on the sector. The placement percentage often hovers around 80-90%, highlighting the strong employability prospects for graduates. Students start to be eligible for campus placements in their seventh semester. We have OCS, which maintains data on all the businesses. Numerous large businesses visit IIT Delhi and make ten to fifteen offers. Some Quantitative Research Organizations provide high packages but few offers. We can apply for internships in our third year, and some students receive PPOs with respectable pay from these internships.

Campus placements start in the 7th semester and are kept in sync with the Office of Career Services (OCS), IITD. About 70% get placed and others go for fields like entrepreneurship, a master's degree, UPSC, etc.

In the seventh semester students are eligible for campus placements through OCS whereas they are eligible for internships in the fifth semester. All big tech and consulting companies visit the campus and make a good number of offers.

Course curriculum belongs in hard to difficult range. Faculty members in my college are extremely qualified and are like an ocean of knowledge but they somewhat lack teaching methodology. They have very deep knowledge of their subjects but they don't have that edge on teaching skills. One mid-term and One end-term exam are taken along with quizzes and assignments going all over the semester.

I want to pursue mechanical engineering, but my rank didn't satisfy cutoff for this branch in iit delhi .so I took similar departmental branch.faculty are highly qualified done masters and PhD from big foreign universities in their respective field.
