Without any second thoughts, IIIT Lucknow is a fairly better choice than NIT Delhi in terms of infrastructure, coding culture, and placements. Let us consider these criteria individually.

• Infrastructure: NIT Delhi is quite far from the hostels so the commute time is high whereas IIIT Lucknow campus and hostels are in close proximity to each other. It hardly takes 5 minutes to reach the campus from your hostel room. Thus saves time. 
• Coding Culture: IIIT Lucknow has a more extensive coding culture than NIT Delhi. Recently, a team of students from IIIT Lucknow secured 9th position in ACM ICPC regionals. The performance of the recent batches is also testimony to the excellent coding culture.
• Placements: IIIT Lucknow is definitely better in this aspect too given that last year its higher package stood at INR 59 LPA.
