Likes
- There is scholarship provided by nirma based on parents income and merit giving 1 lakh rupees as scholarship.
- The faculties are well established in their domain and have a good knowledge about their respective fields and are keen for the development of the students
- Nirma university claims to give 100% placement as the corporate head is having good relationships with industry leaders and placement committee are also active for providing placement opportunities.
Dislikes
- Placement scenario because of recession, if iit is affected from recession, why not nirma, placements are fallen down to only 50 to 60% and that is also around 4 to 5 lpa
- The placements are still happening but either ctc on lower side with some students still unplaced .
- Truely speaking there is recession period going on where jobs are not easily available and so with college placements.

I decided to pursue my Btech EEE from the university affiliated college. However, the university is excellent in terms of providing quality education services, incredibly knowledgeable faculty, impeccable placements records, comprehensive and challenging curriculum, etc. Admission for the BTech is done based on JEE MAIN and scores obtained in the 10+2 exams.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements after the 6th Semester. A fee of 2,500 was to be paid as a placement fee to the placement council known as III cell. Some students from our batch received pre-placements offers after their summer internships, which also occurs after the 6th Semester. During our batch, the chemical department received a record 90% placement.
The top core companies which offered core chemical engineering jobs include:-
Reliance, Hindustan Unilever (HUL)
Linde, L&T Technology Services, Thermax
Galaxy Surfactants, DCM Shriram, Nirma Ltd
Yokogawa, Air products, Worley Jacobs
H20, Tata Chemicals, GSFC
Deepak Group of companies(Deepak Nitrite, Deepak Phenolics) and many more
Non core companies included:-
TCS, Cognizant, ZS Associates, Byju's, etc.
The highest packages were offered by non-tech companies (close to 10LPA) and the average package offered for our batch was just below 4 LPA.
Profiles: Associate trainee (GET), business development associate, etc.

Remarks:
Nirma is the oldest university in the state and this is why I decided to pursue my BTech here only. It was 131 for Btech & 151st overall in NIRF's rankings of 2020. NAAC has recognised the university with 'A' Grade and Nirma also has approvals like UGC & NBA. For BTech admissions to Nirma the GUJCET or JEE Main score of applicants are checked by the institute.

Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placements from the 8th or 9th semester. The top legal firms that visit the campus include Amarchand Mangaldas, Trilegal etc. The placement from ILNU is decent and is consistently on the upward trend. The average package is 6-7 lac p.a. and the highest from campus placement goes approximately upto 12 lac p.a. Percentage of students getting placements is over 70%. I plan to prepare for the judiciary after getting the degree.

Nirma University is popular for mangement education. The institute is top in placements and academics. The admission is based on Common Admission Test, Personal Interview and Theme Development & Presentation (TDP), Academic Performance in XII and graduation and work experience.

Remarks:
Nirma University ranks 52 in the country and for a private university, it's a decent rank.Nirma University considers JEE Mains scores to shortlist applicants for B.Tech courses. There is a quota for candidates from Gujarat and a separate admission portal for NRI and NRI-sponsored candidates.

The placement and faculty of Nirma University is good and it has been ranked in 4th position by outlook. Besides, the teaching methods of the institute attracts the students. Candidates must have master degree with 55% marks or M.Phil degree is required for the admission. The institute prefers entrance exam like UGC net/ SLET/ GATE/ GPAT score for the admission of Ph.D. There is a PI round in final selection.

Nirma University is among the best private institutions in Gujarat. It has a rich legacy and an established track record, which enables even those students to pursue an MBA who were not able to secure as high scores as required for an admission into more prestigious national and private B-Schools. The admission process is conducted in multiple stages and needs a valid CAT score, along with a stellar performance in the TDP, PI and a decent academic track record.

I completed my Graduation from SSCBS,Delhi and afterwards I wanted to pursue my MBA from my home state and Nirma looked like the perfect place to me. The University was 44th in MBA 2020 rankings of the famous NIRF group. It is accredition by NAAC with Grade''A'' along with UGC & AIU approvals. For admissions to the MBA program in the University the entrance test score, records in previous academic classes and Interview performance is checked.

MBA at Nirma University is one of the best choices I've ever taken because i was totally impressed with the good aspects of the institute such as its academic excellence, rigorous, and challenging curriculum, highly qualified and experienced faculties, highly effective students-run associations, etc. Admission for the MBA programme is based on the CAT scores followed by interviews conducted by the university.
