Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

I like the college life it is give a chance to self exploration and our weakness and strength .
It give us opportunity of personality development.
And more important society/club give us ideas of thinking in more technical way.

Dislikes

In some areas the hygiene is not taken care.
Society/clubs are not strict and any students can come.
Processor didn't take the assignment on time.

Placement Experience:

The placement starts after third year. Placement are offer to students and there is partiality as pi and civil branch which usually didn't get high placement also get the opportunity of higher placements. Microsoft ,Amazon , Cvent,HCL, samsung and many more. Last year highest package is 32.45 LPA. 632 student get placed in 2022. I want to do higher studies.

Likes

Clubs and societies which overall improve your personality.
Fests in which we enjoy a lot . It includes DJ nights.
Environment is quite good and various sports activities are there.

Placement Experience:

The placement are quite fine. Around 150-200 companies are visiting for recruitment. It also includes big giants like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and many more. Last year's highest package was 1.2 crore which was grabbed by electrical engineering students. And the average package of our institution is around 12-13 LPA.

Deep dive in NIT Kurukshetra

Likes

The things I liked most is the supportive culture of the college. The seniors here are really supportive and will help you throughout you 4 year college journey and on top of that if you are in some club , the bonding would be even better.
The abundence of cultural and technical clubs and socities is very good . It helped me in exploring the things I liked other than studying and gave me a creative edge.
The campus is very beautiful during fall season. It gets covered with beautiful yellow flowers.

Dislikes

The night life of the college is not good. There are no good cafes that are open at night. The night mess also closes at 12 o'clock only.
The location of college is not good. Its around 5 km from the Kurukshetra city center and need to have a cycle if you want to go out somewhere.
Only two badminton courts are available for students and the same are used by faculty members as well . So when the faculty plays we can't play.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course of Mechanical Engineering that I choose has a very low work load which helps me to get ample of time to work on other things like my youtube channel, my dance practice, other club activities, and sports. There are two types of classes that are held in our college The faculty student ratio in the lecture class is around 1:800 that is there is one professor for 80 students.While in the tutorial classes the ratio is pretty good around 1:19.These tutorial class have only one purpose and that is to get our concepts strong. The faculty is very well qualified , those who take our lecture class are senior faculty menmbers while the ones taking our tutorial classes are the phd scholars. We have got 2 mid sem exams and one end sem exam . The mid sem exams are of 20 marks and the end sem exams are of 50 marks. the takes place after very 2 months with 3 exams per semmester.

NIT Kurukshetra- Career Catalyst

Likes

Campus is very beautiful and large. In campus various flowers are planted.
All faculty members are not strict and their teaching method also easy to understand.
Library for studying is also very big and computer lab also there for study.

Dislikes

Mess food is not very well and gets bored by eating one type of food many times.
Semester results are not giving earlier they take much time.
AC in lecture halls are not working everytime.

Placement Experience:

The placement statistics of this college are very good. In CS and IT about 98-100% of students placed from last 5 years and in other branches about 80-85% of students placed. Avg. The package of CS and its students is 40 lpa and core branch students are about 9-12 lpa.

Likes

Good and big campus with greenery all around places for sports and other ciricullam activities.
All of the classes are fully air conditioner. And have smart bord with blackbord to explain things clearly.

Dislikes

Campus gym is too short and is always full

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many good and worldwide companies visite Nit Kurukshetra like microsoft amazon make my trip Samsung etc. The highest package in my batch was 28 lakhs per annum and the average package was nine lakhs. Up to 85 percent of students are placed on campus.

Things you should know about NIT Kuruskhetra

Likes

Lush green campus because it have trees all around us. There is also a lake in the campus.
I also liked the cultural clubs here like Photog. I personally love photog as it meets my interest.
The diversity of the students is thing i loved here, Some students are from UP, Haryana, south states .

Dislikes

I dislike the meal here provided in the hostels. Quality of food is not good.
Location of the college is also not good. The area outside of NIT is not that developed.
I also disliked the minimum attendance criteria that is 75%.

Placement Experience:

Only the 7th and 8th-semester student is eligible for the placements. Companies like Microsoft, Google, BSNL, TCS, Maruti, Mahindra etc. visited in previous years. The highest package was 42 lakhs and the lowest was 4 lakhs. The average percentage of students getting placements is 80%.

Likes

Cultural and Technical clubs present in the college are up to the mark. There almost each and every club present in the college covering all your interest .
Campus is one of the best feature of the college , it is full of greenery , Allover surrounded by. tees giving all good vibes . We got a lake over here also .
Food is also pretty decent although non veg not allowed in the campus yet still mess serves a large variety of cuisine One of the best feature of the mess that we itself can upgrade our mess menu.

Dislikes

Location of the college is the worst feature of the college , here night life is almost zero.
Sports complex is not that much great there is no division for different sports .
One thing that must be included in college is night mess.

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, but it all depends on the student's approach towards it. Over 450 companies visited last year, the college had an overall mean package of 14.16 lakh per annum. And in to be branch specific Mechanical Engineering achieved a mean package of 9.81lakh per annum. Students also achieved off-campus placements in leading tech companies such as Microsoft and Amazon.

Likes

The campus is good if we ignore the area but the vibe is good we can enjoy
The infrastructure of classes are good and well maintained
The hostel rooms are good with high quality of wood and study table .

Placement Experience:

The placement is awesome. The companies that come here for placements are quite famous and offer high packages. Such as Google, Yahoo, Microsoft, EY, Airtel etc. The highest package was 40 lakhs and the average package was 7 lakhs

NIT Kurukshetra-An underrated NIR

Likes

Beauty of campus, lush green large campus with lake
Students here are very great. Everyone here has unique talents and company to offer
Faculty are great.most of them are IIT and NIT graduates and research scholar

Dislikes

Infrastructure is quite old and belongs to 1960s when the college was established
Hostel timing for girls is restricted to 8:30 PM and for boys there are no restrictions

Placement Experience:

Placements are great here. Amidst of recession placements are going well. All the branches had more than 75% placements in the previous year of 2022-23. Companies start placement procedures from 7th semesters onwards. Many students have grabbed PPOs also in American Express, Microsoft etc. There are no specific numbers for the companies visited and offers made but however many of the night IT firms, PSUs and startups came to visit the campus placements. If you work quite hard and have good academies along with requisite skill you can easily grab a 12-15 LPA package. My plan is to get a decent placement and enter in to corporate world.

A WAR IN NIT KURUKSHETRA

Likes

Placements of CSE and ECE are pretty decent.
We have many labs . Air conditioners are available in classrooms .
There are sports complex , gym , and a swimming pool.

Dislikes

The equipment used in our labs are not in dated .
The food is in the mess is too bad sometimes .

Placement Experience:

From the 6th semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Expedia, Zomato, Swiggy, Microsoft, Airtel. visit our college. Around 90% of the students got placed, the average package is 9 LPA and the highest package is 65 LPA.
