Many companies like microsoft and facebook uber ola simens hero honda visits the campus almost 90 per cent of students get placed my plan is also getting good olacemen6
Students are also provided scholarships and financial assistance to get good cgpa in their respective semester job is also provided on maintaining good cgpa and having good skills
I liked the people here. the teaching method of the teachers here is very good. the campus of the college is very good.

Dislikes

Ffe is scholarship is non governmental scholarship which is missed to apply.
However for our batch the placement season was worst over the last 10 years with less than 50% overall placement.
Some professors are not that helpful and kind they just give us warning on everything

college analysis

Likes

some of the professors are really cooperative .
the management of campus greenery is good.
the location of nit at holy place . lot of temples.

Dislikes

very expensive college life . so costly .
the location should be a big city like Delhi.
the girls quota in even placements is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the teachers of some subjects are not good but some teachers are really good. the faculty member comes and teaches whether the student is doing anything in class. I have completed 1st semester at nit Kurukshetra and my overall experience is good.

Likes

I like many things in college like Lake.
I like that many students are in discipline.
Sports are goods and provide many chances to participate.

Dislikes

Location is not good in kurukshetra it is out of city.
Kurukshetra is very expensive. Many things are expensive.
In my many students are not in discipline.

Placement Experience:

In Nit Kurukshetra, many companies come to campus and give an offer to students. The average package of my college is 1200000. Highest package is 12500000. Almost all students get jobs in companies. I plan to get a job in the company.

Likes

Located near Chandigarh and Delhi which are 2 major cities of india
campus is also good looking and green and neat and clean
placement offers in NIT Kurukshetra is very good

Dislikes

Hostel are very poor and there are very fewer facilities
Not much developed area so hard to explore things
some rules and regulations sometimes stops us in having fun

Placement Experience:

placement is very good in the computer engineering branch and IT branch. There are internship opportunities also. almost 90% of students from cs/it secured jobs in colleges. After my degree, I want to start my own company.

I liked the campus area hostels and sports facilities.

Dislikes

I don't liked faculty teaching style and method.
I hated the class schedule and time table.

Placement Experience:

I am not aware of placements as there is no in the first year as I am in the first year. But from seniors we. Heard that fewer companies are offering due to the recession. But still, some companies are coming and the package is also decent.

College life is very good , there are many clubs
Infrastructure is good in the college many places to hang out
Seniors are good , you can learn many good things

Dislikes

Quality of teaching ia very bad in college
College administration is very unsupportive
Mostly Faculty members are also unsupportive

Placement Experience:

The placement scenerio is bad ,there are less companies visiting and you have to apply offcampus mostly. You will get placement but there is high chance you will have to be satisfied with a low package. College placement starts in final year

NIT-KKR through a fresher's eyes

Likes

The hostel life is great and memorable. You'll make really good friends. Having fun , studying together, exploring new things, visiting different places, cook at midnight. You'll make memories for life. The campus life is nice. It's clean and green.

Dislikes

The campus is old so the infrastructure is not that good. There's no big auditorium.The land is not efficiently used that's my thinking.

The placement rate was approximately 82%. The average package was 13 lakhs last year though there is no official data. The highest packages were from the electronics and electrical department from the last 2 years. As the location of the college is good, many students go for off-campus placements too.

Placements of NIT KURUKSHETRA have been great in the last few years but nowadays recession has hit hard. In the computer engineering department, almost all the students get placed. Especially girls. Agree with getting the degree I am looking forward to a good job.

Environment of greenary here I have liked very much .
Students of different states is good we can communicate and explore more within them
Good faculty in chemistry and math of experienced faculty

Dislikes

Pollution in all over haryana it's near Villagee is of air pollution is high
Extremely wether condition of too hot and too cold cold
Food for South part of Indian students is some what uncomfortable

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I have much interest in mechanical engineering I have chosen it. Overall faculty is good, and supportive and encourages students to understand difficult concepts, the ratio of boys and girls in our class is 5:1. most teachers have done PhD and some of them have gold medals in their respective streams. For example, the teacher who teaches chemistry is a gold medal holder. They teach in a food manner, some teachers are very cooperative, and very less teachers have less experience in teaching The problem is about for the first-year students we have been told some classes by some mtech students who have less experience in teaching that the one of the problems, aside from that it's good.

NIT kurukshetra: Knowing the Unknowns.

Likes

Peer group and Seniors: the students here are meritorious and intelligent.
Environment of the collage:There is very greenery inside the campus.
The mess provides only Vegetarian food here

Dislikes

The admission Fee is very high.It is Not affordable for many students.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester and onwards are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Samsung, HCL, Dell, Deloitte, etc visited. There were around 400 offers were made. Around 78-80% of students were placed among all branches. After getting my degree I want a stable job with a good package.

Likes

Well constructed and well spread campus.Cleanliness is maintained allover the campus.
Club culture is good and keeps us engaged.
Sports culture is also very good in college.

Dislikes

Hostel as well as mess facilities is not up to the mark.
Wifi network and internet issues discomforts a lot.
Few faculties are unable to give satisfactory explanation.
