The faculty is really amazing. Maximum staff is from south india. Principal of the college is a very nice person. Monthly modeular tests are taken to access the performance. Final exams are annually. All the teaching staff is MD and MS.

I wanted to do engineering from NIT or government college in Himachal Pradesh. So I got govt seat in my stream that I wish to pursue that was mechanical engineering. Also the fees was very affordable for girls. It was also near to my residence so I was not to lay for any accommodation. I used to travel from nerchowk to sundernagar by bus.

Many companies visit here but few people get chance of having placements . Minimum package here is 3 lakh rupees as it is a government Institute so limited companies visit here, After completing my degree, my first choice is to take the CDS exam and serve the country My backup choice is to give bank exams or SDO exams

Because it was newly opened and provided new infrastructure and labs by the govt. The campus was also in himachal pradesh. the weather is good and it was close to my home town, so I opted for my course here. And I can tell you, go for one year drop if you can take some better collg than this(only if you are capable)

I had chosen this course because I love programming and had a great interest in the field of computer science. When I was studying the ratio of students and faculty is not good. As some teachers who are not experts in a particular subject is teaching that particular subject. Teachers are well qualified and most of them had their Masters and a lot of experience. There are two-term exams in the semester and they are moderate.

Fees is quite less as compare to other college and also it's a TEQUIP funded collage so number of opportunity are more. It is one of the best engineering college in himanchal after niit hamirpur so if a person who had perform well in jee exam could have a try here

No placement is done at our time, but there is an extra class for gate examination (teacher from different universities for giving coaching) free of cost no extra charge for extra classes, this helps students to crack gate examination.

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. 20-30% of students get placement. After getting the degree I have planned for further studies.

Students are eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. I am not that knowledgeable about the companies and offers on the campus. Students having CGPA above 7.5 are likely to get in campus placements. I plan on going for government jobs in the civil engineering sector after the completion of my degree.
