Fees and Financial Aid:

For 1st year student college fees is 86000 of all student except SC and ST. And those having income more than 5 lakh have to pay 86000 and those whose income is between 400k to 100k have to post 45k in first semester and those who have income less than 100k have to pay 16k fees and SC and ST students also pay 16k.

I would pay 120000 per semester, tuition fee is 80000 ,mess fee is 18000, hostel fee 6000 , resignation fee 5000, admission fee 5000, development fee,lab fees,other compulsory charges is 16000 my one friend is from SC category and his tuition fee is totally refunded and hostel,mess and all other fees are as per me scholarship like ffe,nsp ongc are provided here

The course is affordable and ROI is good. If you are investing in it you should be assured to get a good package at the end. Either you are general or EWS or SC,ST,OBC you are not charged a very high fee. And in case you are not financially stable getting loan is very easy for you. You don't need to have a guarantor for loan it's easy and smooth process. We have a branch of SBI inside the campus.

The course and curriculum is upto the mark of new education policy and industry standards which help a lot in placements.

Tuition fee is regulated by the government as it is an institute of national importance hence it is purely regulated by the Indian government. The overall cost of my course will land upto 7.5 lakhs including hostel and mess fees. There are many chances of scholarships for the students by the government itself. Although the college does not provide any kind of scholarship other than tuition fee waiver according to the reservation. Also, college helps in the internship opportunities after 3rd year and in the 4th/final year.

NIT in the lap of hills

The number of classes per week gives us enough time to focus on co curricular activities.

The tuition fee has been consistent for the last few years . For the course itself the total fees comes around 6.5lakh in total ( excluding the hostel fees). Various scholarships are available for meritorious students as well as students from an economically weaker section.

Pros and cons of NIT hamirpur

Tution fee is very high in NIT Hamirpur for the students. You can choose some other Institute over this. Because of its high cost of education. Financial aid are available for students. Tution fee is different as per the family income of the student.

NIT Hamirpur - A nice experience

The course is made with quite good knowledge.

The hikes in tution fees are generally uniform, it doesn't increase suddenly. The total expenses was generally 8-10 lakh. There are numerous scholarships available for students having financial issues.

The College I loved and hated

Well fees is quite affordable as it is divided in sections as per the categories and annual income of the students family and they are divided well and are pretty affordable. As for the scholarships I haven't taken one so I don't know much in that case but there are some available for students and you can go and talk in the department about it as they are super supportive and helpfull. As for employment I have done intern from a private company while some of my friends went to IITs and employment rate is also average.

First as this collage is a government one it is very affordable. There are various scholarships given to various people who are financially weak. One such was for the ST category who have done pretty well in there papers.
