NIT Srinagar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Staff is not supportive. College is not responsible for anything wrong happend to student in college campus. They do partiality with students. Like kashmiri students get higher marks compare to non kashmiri students. .

College are situated at good place in srinagar. It is situated beside the dal lake and hazratbal the college is surrounded be the beauty of the nature greeneries and mountains and the climate is very nice.

I have one negative remark for my college is that the extra curriculum should be taken more seriously as there is no indoor sports complex and no auditorium for different event for our college. College should adopt relative marking grading structure.

After spending 4 years in NIT Srinagar, all i can say is just go and enjoy the feel of heaven in Kashmir valley and explore the vast learning environment of NIT Srinagar. There are no negative points to share rather than saying its a heaven in itself. All the best !

First apply for jee mains exam and get a rank under 50000 and also minimum 75% marks in 12th exam and you have only three attempt to qualify jee mains exam if you clear the cutoff so you also eligible for jee advance exam for the admission in IIT

I have mixed reactions, some good most bitter. They can certainly perform better,provide us good facilities and college experience as we are experiencing now.Most of the times classes are off because of strikes.So we have to take extra classes.Mess food is another problem.College placements worried us most of the time.But who am I to induce Ur opinions,analyse yourself and decide.

All india engineering entrance exam ( aieee). Then various stages of counselling. Once seat is alloted you need to report in college in the given time frame otherwise your candidature will be cancelled. Now the procedure is somewhat change.

The positive remark about college is that it is situated in Kashmir, which is itself famous tourist destination and also the college is situated near famous tourist places like Dal, mughal gardens etc. The students enjoy the beauty of inside and outside college. Also people who study in this college do not want to go back.

Infrastructure is good enough and also the location of college is best with dal lake around and also bound by mountains. So natural beauty is at it's peak. But the internal administration is very unfriendly and also faculty is below average.

It's good, but needs improvements (which is being done). Improvements need to be done in power supply, water supply, room cleaning etc., Wifi has been made available in the whole college with open air WiFi, that's something good.
