Remarks:

NIT Jamshedpur is one of the top-notch NITs of the country. Here more than 90% of students get placed. I have chosen the electrical branch because I was interested in that subject from the beginning of my intermediate. The best thing about the electrical branch on our campus is that it is teaching here since the campus established.

Remarks:

Best for placements. The campus life, fests and hostel facility are ver much fine.Campus surroundings are good but in 2-3 km it's bit dirty. Scholarships are available at our college.Worth studying here and a time well spent that you'll remember it the rest of your life.

Absolutely fine for placements. The campus life, fests and hostel facility are good.and most importantly this college is closer to my home.Almost 4500 students are there and college provides scholarship for economically backward students.

The placement of this college is excellent.The nirf ranking is 75.Placements: Every student who participated in placement session was placed. Average package offered was 6LPA.engineer.Infrastructure: Classrooms and Labs were good. Wi-Fi wasn't satisfactory

Remarks:

NIT JAMSHEDPUR, Every student wants to get into iits or Nits. Nit jamshedpur estd 1960, is basically known for its placements. Here ECE And CS placements are really good. College infrastructure is really good. Its campus spreded over 350+ acre. There are some good labs.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.

Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.

Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.

Academics

The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.

FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA

Extracurricular Activities:

The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
