My college experience with ISME

Likes

I really liked the environment around the campus, there is greenery around the campus and it is very clean
The Faculty is very knowledgeable in what they teach and very engaging
The batch size is small and perfect for engagement with the faculty. There is no ragging

Dislikes

Attendance is a strictly monitored factor. 75% is mandatory for writing exams

Placement Experience:

5th semester or start of the third year SPSS, Deloitte, Grant Thornton, Federal Bank, KPMG, TCS, Enhub, MethodHub, 5C. Highest package was 9,00,000 and average package is 5,00,000 70% ppt for placements and 30% of students opt for higher studies or self employed Plan to land a job

My experience

Likes

The atmosphere and the environment around the campus is very peaceful which is actually required for better learning.
The faculty are very knowledgeable and every faculty had studied in abroad
There is no ragging inside the campus and there is a strict discipline inside campus

Dislikes

Attendance is mandatory like the attendance should be 75%
Collage is so small that I can't go except amphitheatre or roof top . There's no more spot to hangout during breaks.

Placement Experience:

• At the beginning of 3rd year the students become eligible for campus placements • SPSS, Deloitte, Grant thornton, Federal Bank,KPMG, TCS, 5C etc.. • Highest package is 9LPA and average package is 5LPA • 70% of students go for the placements and 30% of them go for the higher studies • After getting my degree I would like to pursue my higher studies

PGDM Life at ISME

Likes

The faculty are very good and friendly, their classes are interactive with rich knowledge
The hostel is within the college which is a plus

Dislikes

The college is far from the city with is a bit difficult for people from outside
The size of the campus is small compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

The placements here are 100 % with a career opportunity cell for guidence for students and there will also be a placement value added term in the second year consisting of courses like lean 6 sigma by KPMG and financial modeling by Grand Thornton and mock interviews etc..

BMS -College for the scholars who shine up

Professional teaching methods of professional faculty
Opted for a add on course of company secretary which helps me
Monthly basis seminars helping in getting real world knowledge

Dislikes

Smaller campus usually crowd cannot fit up in the lunch breaks
Canteen is unavailable no good.commercial shops nearby
Bus stops are far away are the bus stops are usually very crowded

AMC college is for the warriors and entrepreneurs,come lets sail together

The campus life is amazing includes very well infrastructure and clean and hygiene place
Includes professional mentors pre placement training is provided with soft skills training
Curriculum is SEP syllabus and it is quite manageable

Dislikes

Every week Saturday is a holiday no matter what
Teachers take classes based on class strength
Sometimes parking is unavailable because of public

ABBS is cut over rest!!

ABBS means Professionalism and therefore students have to follow the strict uniform code as assigned by our college.
No entry without icard and it has to be around our collar whole we are in college.
Cameras are everywhere and therefore no blind spot and this ensures complete security.

Dislikes

Uniform colour is very poor as it looks like colour of postman uniform.

Placement Experience:

Oracle, Genpact, Amazon and you can name any name which you know in technology and they were at ABBS. Junior software developer roles were the primary roles offered to BCA students and placements worth 4-6 lakhs were offered to us.

ABBS is a marvel!!

I believe the kind of infrastructure that we have attracted me the first.
Then it was the location as it was top hill and for me easy to commute.
Management here because the way they guided me throughout the admission was commendable.

Dislikes

College don't have much active clubs and societies.

Placement Experience:

Accenture, Oracle, Genpact and many other big names which offers salary of around 4-5 lakhs. Highest though for BCA currently stands at 14 lakhs and this record or landmark will soon be breached top as many MNCs have started coming to our campus for placements.

ABBS is Amazing!!

Likes

Compared to other private colleges and universities our college charges lesser fees.
Compared with placements too our college is higher than the likes of BIT or NHCE.
Activities are done in numbers to provide exposure which is much needed.

Dislikes

Scholarships are only for a few and this should change.

Placement Experience:

Ab ABBS we get eligible for placements like after we finish the second year. Till then training and all keeps on going. From cracking the mandatory tests which many corporates have made it mandatory and also things like communication skills and all are taught. Finally then we are placed with packages worth 50-75k a month. Out of the total batch of 120 nearly 70 students are placed from campus.

The learning and peaceful phase of life

Likes

The college infrastructure was calm with the colours and the greenery
The teaching was good they provide guidance for career other than the academic
The people are very interactive the students are from every state

Dislikes

I just didn't liked the forcing students for money

Placement Experience:

From 5 sem we were eligible for the campus placement but most of the companies are specially for sales for BBA and bcom with less package and small companies very rare if some good company visit and I got selected through campus placement in flipkart but now I haven't got due negligence of the placement department but now I am finding an opportunity off campus to get a job as early as possible

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
The faculty never completes the syllabus.
The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
