UVCE is the best college

Likes

I liked the Teaching Faculty , The affordable fees amount, The College campus
The College Placements, Training and Internships
The Reservations and admission process and all.

Dislikes

The delay in allocation of hostel and not providing correct and accurate information
There are no pg located near college and no shos nearby
The College haven't reduced syllabus for lateral entry students like other colleges it says that lateral entry students should writethe external exams too for m1 and m2 subjects

Placement Experience:

There are so many companies that visits our uvce college campus to hire. From third year students are eligible for campus placements. The highest package of this year was 22 LPA but still the companies are visiting and the interview is going on. I want to get a good job at a good company after degree

Likes

Friendly teachers we can ask questions without hesitation
The lab facility is good and there is good lab structure
Our college has good infrastructure and friendly staff

Dislikes

Timings of the college is so early in the morning
Reaching to the college it takes more time and late
There is no play ground to play any sports

The main thing to choose this college is good fees structure and affordable fees and we can pay by half cash and remaining amount afterwards before completion of the semester and the exam timings is from morning 10 to afternoon 1:30 there is no tension for exam duration and there is not much difficulty in the. Exam

They had very well knowledgeable teachers
The infrastructure is one thing everyone will like about the college
They really encouraged for students to work on their passion

Dislikes

Too much importance for attendance it’s like a pressure
The dress code is very strict it’s also a pressure
The college have some strict rules which is sometime irritating

Faculty they give u good notes which help u in your exam
People are good in this college they will help u
Infrastructure of this college is nice they provide games and many more

Dislikes

Classroom bcoz in summer its too hot fan is not working properly sometimes
They are very strict I don’t even think difference this is college or school
Playground is too small but nice and fest are not happening recently

Course is good i'm from science background in 12th standard but when I choose this course its not too difficult to understand only in accounting subjects you might get difficulty but when u study its good course

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the College
The faculty is motivating. They try to make themselves better
The exam conducted is very student friendly

Dislikes

I does not like the area where the college is
The securities and bouncers and annoying
The admission department is so poor and not friendly

Placement Experience:

They offer great placements in mncs and big companies. They also prefer and support startup companies and try to make every student get placed. In case of placements this college is better and the best

Likes

Teacher are well indulged , they help you .
Very good area where students get stuff they need.
Provision of canteen and stationery given

Dislikes

Campus is tooo small for a student to even have lunch
Strict and actively don't support in athletics
Sometimes, dealing with admin-related processes like society budget approval or fest dates approval can be slow and confusing.

As I got admission in 2024 so BCU started SEP Batch which is totally new , and we really don't find any book to refer on the basis where we don't get help as much as we need and it's new , bsc has alot to do .

Marvellous experience in my college life

Likes

The quality of the infrastructure was good, mainly the library was very good and excellent I and my friends liked our college library
The facilities are good and helpful people their teaching method was excellent.
We loved our college campus we enjoyed playing in our college ground.

Dislikes

Our college management not allowed us to our computer lab they allowed us to computer lab for only few days
In our degree college there is no campus interview done.
I think our college need to be improve in using the technical teaching

First I had enjoyed my college days, it was a memorable days for me, In college days we used to enjoy with friends and in exam days I start to read seriously. When the study holidays begins I start to read till the exams complete.

Good teachers qualified and learning facilities and available for students library for helping students especially in exam preparation time
The b.com department hod Will be informed before one week or before 2 days there is no delay and good communication with the teachers
Campus is beautiful and historical which adds to the beauty.

Dislikes

Fees payment is disliked from the students and we should come early to the college or else the gate will locked they will not leave to enter the college later they'll leave inside the college
The attendance policy that requires you attend 75 % of the lectures

The course all are dependent on us and we should select the what we are going to study for higher education and get a good degree holder and the good condition of classes Rooms with smart boards

Likes

I love the faculty of my college who are very friendly and literally we can share whats in our mind. They won't judge us.
The college dance, fashion and football team is so great.
The way they organize the ethnic day and freshers.

Dislikes

Their cultural intra college fest is actually dry.
We dont have a proper malayalam association for organizing onam.
Science Department is too strict with the dress code.

Placement Experience:

St. Joseph's University offering good package and placement for B.Com and BBA. There are four signs. For MSc, they are offering like from big companies EY and all. So for BSc, there are like a certain laboratories which they offer and even in microbiology they offer from Aster Labs. And the highest salary package for B.Com students is like 10 LPA and half of like 50% of the students are getting placements from B.Com. So my plan is to do MBA in sustainability after this and planning to get into ESG sector.

A very good place to experience and explore.

Likes

They provide you a lot of events which I appreciate but they also take entry fees by the JNC students to attend their own college fear.
You will get to explore other country by international trips and also the passport will be provided by the college by conducting Visa interviews.
The infrastructure is good and the campus is also good but the library is more nicer.

Dislikes

Waiting in a line and sitting for hours in library or paying a lot of money to get your hall tickets to write the sem exams due to shortage of attendance
Getting few teachers whose lectures or explanations you can understand.
Your not informed about the event on time or earlier.

• It could be the relevance of the subjects, the teaching methods. • Incorporating more elective courses and guest lectures from industry professional. • Alignment with career goals and interest. • The timing of exams was generally well-spaced.

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
The faculty never completes the syllabus.
The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
