About Maharani's college.

Likes

The college has a very healthy atmosphere.
Faculty members are friendly and experienced

Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose B. Com in this college . All the lecturers and professors were well educated and experienced . Commerce has always been one of my keen interests . Their teaching methods involved practical experiments, industrial visitings etc which helped us students to understand the concepts in a better way .

Likes

College is very beautiful buildings and is in blue colour
Playgrounds are available on college for activities
Many festivals and programs are avaible for entertainment

Dislikes

Programs are conducted for selected members only
Bouncers are really rude with students they are like criminal look
College dont have more places to spend free time

Placement Experience:

On the fifth semester onwards koshys group of institutions students get placement interviews for getting job in the companies or professional carrier The highest average package is 8 lakh per annum and the lowest is 4 lpa

Likes

Strong industrial connection that help us to experience
Good faculty that reaches really well and help u with everything
Decent placements that helps to get ur decent placements in the campus

Dislikes

Strict attendance policy we have to maintain good percentage of attendence through the year
Limited campus size the campus size is little small we don't have place to part vehicles
While placements are good but some of the programms may not have that strong placements

my review of college

Likes

faculties are friendly teaching method is easily understandable
for student entertainment there is so many programs like euphoria
playground is avaible and sports is also available to encourage students

Dislikes

there are bouncers who are securities rule like very rude citizens
no freedom in college they were teaching like a nursery school
hod is very rude and she doesn't hear what our demand is

Placement Experience:

from fifth semester onwards students are eligible for their placements adityabirla,airinda,allegis etc.. these are the examples of the companies collaborated to our college for placements about 25 percentage of students got placements every year i will apply for job after this

Rule and regulations are very strict I don't like the rules
Security guard the are behaviour very very bad
Ground: not a good ground not a good play area's

5 the sem students are eligible for campus placements Air india,Delivery,Aditya birla group ,allegis group Twenty five to thirty five percentage students get placements My plan is to apply for job or try to get placements from college

faculties are intelligent ,well educated and friendly
college have its own ground for football
for students entertainment programs are conducted

Dislikes

the college doesn't have much space for campus enjoyment
the bouncers are used as securities are pretty much annoying
department hod is very very stict about everything

Placement Experience:

around 5th sem students are prepared for placements seven to eight lakh per annual is the highest placement got average is about 5 lakh per annum twentifive to thirty five percentage of students are gettting placements apply for placement

Likes

Teaching methods and level of knowledge help us in finding freelance job and upskill our skills
Merit prizes and extra activities or really great
Help students who are in need like paying their fees if they are unable to pay

Dislikes

Department rivalry is really more they do not like students from other streams
Sometimes office and examination centre receptionist are very rude
Bias when it comes any College event from different departments which affects students mental health and confidence

Course Curriculum Overview:

We have 4 exams in an year, which includes 2 sem exams and 2 mid sem exams. The papers are set very difficulty as it will help us tackle the problem and solve those. The duration of between the semester is pretty fine as it help us have some gap between to acquire knowledge.

One thing we could say about the feast they conduct
And one more thing is there are many opportunities of extra curricular activities
Teaching is also good to understand and memorise

Dislike is like I joined last summer and already summer started now the college life of one year went like Express train

The curriculum is at the level of medium I think there's a council meeting regarding our curriculum so I think it may change so Im not sure about it and teaching methods is using smart board and also teachers teach

My college life

Likes

I joined this college for the purpose of persuing National Cadet Corps
To get an exposure of the city life as I was born n brought up in a village
To get achievements as they help us and guide us through everything which is really helpful

Dislikes

Partiality is the thing which I don't like about this college
They overhype everything even if it's very little
Education is not up to the mark as lecturers use videos and ppts to teach us

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it has scope in the future and I am interested in this field. The curriculum is good and helpful The faculties must give little more stress on the quality of teaching The frequency and timings of exams are flexible and the paper is moderate

Likes

We get a lot of free time to focus on extra curricular activities and co-curricular activities.
We have very good facilities including lab equipments,etc
The library has many books which are needed for undergraduates and is very helpful

Dislikes

The teaching could be better as the teachers spend more time telling us stories not related to the topic at all.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very easy for undergraduate students in the first year. I am not aware about the 2nd and 3rd year curriculum. The teaching could be improved in the following ways: Teachers can try to be more informative about the topics they are teaching and give us more details which could help us to crack competitive exam which most students write at the end of their undergraduate studies.

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
The faculty never completes the syllabus.
The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
