Each course is well designed keeping in mind of the advances in the respective fields and the placements having a average package of 7lakhs. ~ Abhay Rampure, B.Com {Hons.}
The university is a great place to network with more than 25000 students on the campus. The 8 departments in the university organize inter-departmental programs. ~ Archita Garg, BALLB {Hons.}
Boy girl radio is around 40 to 60 with boys being 40 and girls being 60 ~ Vivian Joseph, BBA
Dislikes
Placements were alright not the best mostly Averagimg 4Lpa so the ROI wasn't really there. ~ Cyril Christopher, B.Tech
The college is too strict with attendance,if a student’s attendance is below 85 he has to pay a fine of ?5000,?3000 and ?2000 and if the student has a less than 75% attendance then he/she is detained which is very wrong ~ Abhinaba Bhuyan, BA
Very strict in terms of attendance. Fine is charged if attendance is below 85percent and if attendance is below 75 percent those students are not allowed to write the exams ~ Bhavya Rajpal, B.Com {Hons.}
The college provides a corporate atmosphere which enables the students to learn the topics better. The faculty is an advantage to the students. The fests provide an exposure to the students. Due to the discipline, the college has it's own brand image.
Securities are so restrictive
Some sweepers are so rude as if they are paying us and they are the kings and that is the only negativity that I found in the college else if the college is a peaceful place to chill time
I would really suggest people to join CHRIST. Best time spent in one's life.
One among the reputed institution in the country. People from many countries come to study in this university. It also provides the facility of Student Exchange Programme to other countries for the students who would wish to study abroad.
Its a really huge campus with lot of space for the students to learn and enjoy the college phase. The main auditorium is exceptionally well built. However, the rules regarding certain trivial aspects are too strict is what students feel, making coping up with the system, a little difficult. Atrendance issues are stringently dealt with and also CIA pattern causes rigourous work schedules to be followed.
I think the kind of environment christ provides to it’s students is really remarkable. It teaches them how to have fun but not forget our boundaries and makes sure that the student graduates not only with a degree but core values as well.
I have both positive and negative remarks
Positive being, Christ has several opportunities that make you grow in all directions
It provides you with everything you need and helps you in tough times
Negative being, it is attendance scheme is too strict and some rules regarding dressing and identity cards
There are many positive remarks which I've already spoken about in the above questions. The negative remarks are also no less about our college. We have a strict dress code, not only on working days but on Sundays too. Attendance is the biggest issue in our college. People have to pay fine if their attendance is less than 85%. Even 6:30 classes are no less. Being in college for almost 12 hours is a big deal and some teachers expect that we won't fall asleep in classes.
I was very disappointed after 1 month I joined the college when a Student joins in Christ his life will be full exams and assignments and our department doesn't even encourage students for fieldwork. It's very difficult to survive in Christ unless and until u have that academic rigor.
The college has a really high requirement of attendance which is not liked by many of the students on the campus.
College provides really good opportunities in all fields. Which keeps you engage for day and night.
