IIIT Bangalore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course has a proper roadmap for covering the entire course of data science. The course is being prepared such that it covers all industries related to the topic. There could be improvement in Power BI and Tableau-related topics. The exam difficulty was average to moderate.

Placements are one of the best in India. The average package for CSE is around 35 lakh and for ECE it is around 29 lakh CTC per annum. Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Intel, Qualcomm and many big MNC come to recruit. 100 percent placement percentage. I would like to do a Job in a good MNC after graduation.

I will rate placements to good compared to rather iits . The placement ratio is almost 100% every year. The average package will be 30lpa every year for ece and 28lpa for ece guys. The companies which comes to college will have good reputation in society.

The course curriculum is very good. It covers every part that is important for student's career .Also enhancing one's speaking, coding and technical skill set. There are 4-5 courses in a semester usually.

The placements are very nice and the average has been increasing every year. The average placement is currently at 24 lakhs CTC. The placement committee on the college is very helpful and the quality of companies visiting every year is very good.

from 4th year students can sit for internships(6 months) 5th year -> internship and placement Companies: Texas instrument, IBM, Microsoft, Google, Amazon Highest package CSE: 2.1cr CTC abroad 90lpa CTC in india (CTC means you wont get the full salary to yourself. You basically get 60% of it)

The course is good with good professors , curriculum is decent but the competition is too heavy .The frequency of exams are also decent so that students are with in touch of studies without wasting time

Relatively IIITB has the best curriculum in Bangalore .This factor along with package attracts a lot of students . The course curicullum could work on delivery and pace of professors but lokking at the bigger picture IIITB offers a better and real world IT curicullum

Placements provided on the campus are average and students completing half of the course can avail for the placements. cognizant is one the company that offers role of Google adwords and DWAO is another one that offers the role of analyst trainee, likewise there are around 100+ companies that offers roles to students of our campus. the highest package offered is around 350000 and the lowest is 180000 for a fresher. I think around 20 to 30 percent of people get placed.

Course include basic to advanced level of knowledge ,course offer various specialization also like Deep learning , NLP , Data enginnering , business analytics you can choose your specialization according to your interest , if you are new to data science field this course is good to go , all the faculty members are very knowledgeable
