Availabities of scholarship can be used widely to get financial help.
There are annual fest all year and other celebration over the special occasions .coming to sports it supports sports very well it's a good college join and see why should i ruin the surprise, i hope you all enjoy it
Campus , the faculty members are very friendly and they help there best for the students

Dislikes

Politics is sometimes misused , so fights used to be there. Still manageable
Some teachers seem not to care or are too full of themselves and reduce internal marks for basically nothing
Anyone can go inside the campus and there is no restrictions

Best Campus in Kerala

Likes

Best Campus Life. Unlike other engineering colleges it's not in a hill or a isolated area.
Near Cochin City . Metro Station just 1 km away.
Good Placements for Safety, CS,IT, EC branches

Dislikes

Uniform is must. We can't wear colour dress unless there is an occasion

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year we'll get pre placements and from 7th semester we'll get placements . Core placements are less nowadays but software placements are high . Core placements have not much CTC but software companies have high packages

My college provides very friendly facilities who will support ,clear and encourage
Green campus which encourages sustainable architecture, college provide workshops based on sustainable architecture which can be attended by students
All over great college with great faculties, students and everything

Dislikes

It doesn't give any placements , extra curricular activities like sports is not much encouraged here

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel like some of the subjects exam duration can be a little more because I think we can have a little more time in drafting and everything, and also can bring new techniques and practices in this field to the curriculum. The exams are held semester-wise.

CUSAT- My Experience

Likes

The college is absolutely massive. A lot of ppl to meet
Portions are also different so they have a distinct value.
Variety of courses and this was the only college that offered safety and fire

Dislikes

The school of engineering is in the back of cusat and feels so external
Most of the stuff happen in the front of the university while we are stuck at the back
Some teachers seem not to care or are too full of themselves and reduce internal marks for basically nothing

Placement Experience:

After the 7th sem i believe they become eligible for campus placements. My course almost always has around 100% placements. Companies like GAIL are there. Average package was around 6LPA and the highest was around 15LPA

Likes

Ambience of the college is very calm and big campus
Social interaction and campus life is good
Updated syllabus is one of the highlight

Dislikes

Limited Hostel facilities especially for girls
Some Faculties may be outdated or need maintenance

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting Cusat for students recruitment. Infosys, Tata consultancy, Wipro, Siemens, etc. are some of these Average salary package is 40000.

Faculties are good enough. They really help alot. Facilities of all the labs are available here except one or two laboratory.
Classes are regular. You must have to attend 75% classes. Somehow, if you don't get that, not to worry much. If you have better coordination with teachers then you will get 75% attendance. And that's really helpful for North Indian students
Overall we all want placement from any colleges and here the placement is much much better. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L & t, Mahindra etc come here for placement.

Dislikes

Location of this college is not as per your expectations. In rainy season, colleges are off because there is a lot of water surroundings in your hostel, colleges. Sometimes you have to vacate you hostel.
Only one famous shop is available m.c stores where you get edible items if you want to go restaurants, theatre, then either you take bus or you have to go through your own bike.
No any college hostel available here and that's really a major problem for all the students.

Placement Experience:

Placement is overall good in this college. You become eligible for campus placements from semester 5. Too many companies come for placements. Famous companies like TCS, Infosys, L & t, Mahindra, Wipro, congnizant, Byjus', Nokia. Overall we can say placement rate of this college is much better and there is no improvement in this field. The average package is 5 lakhs and highest is 30 lakhs.

The curriculum is interesting to learn not that tough to pass however I always felt valuation to be luck of student It can be easily comprehended . The business subjects are simple to understand a little effort always land you on safe side but to get 90 or 80 you have to break a sweat

The college comes under APJ Abdul Kalam technological University and the MBA course is under CUSAT.The 2019 scheme of KTU is a little outdated and doesn't offer a scope to improve a budding professional's skills

Likes

Superb campus very nyce atmosphere for a college
Very helpul teachers will clear all doubts of the students at any time and very friendly
Better infrastructure facilities and have a good sports ground and good support

Nothing to dislike in this college all are good
College is at top of a hill very hard to reach

Course Curriculum Overview:

Electronics and communication course is very difficult to study. There are somany topics to study related to the two imortant stream electronics and communication. So all the students need to level up thier brain power

The Law School inside CUSAT that very few know

Likes

The most interesting thing is that it is not a college but a University, so you meet people studying various courses like Engineering, Language etc which will give you connections especially if you are Al law student
Great eco-friendly atmosphere with huge trees all around the campus. Very lively
Great faculty and prompt exams even during COVID period

Dislikes

Placement opportunities are very less in the field of law. However if you are doing engineering or MBA, it is a good choice.
Lack of modern infrastructure is a consern although, academic facilities are excellent.
Not a great place for students interested in sports

Course Curriculum Overview:

The academics are more inclined towards the litigation side. There is freedom to answer legal questions according to our interpretation, which is what the profession requires. Marks are not awarded to 'right answers', but to the quality of our interpretation of law. Teachers always teach about the latest developments of a particle section. Famous judgements as well as the latest judgements are taught. Prompt conduction of exams and publication of results. However, revaluation usually takes a couple of months.
