CUSAT Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In the 1st and 2nd semesters we studied subjects from every devision of engineering like EEE, Mech,EC,Civil,CS etc. From third year onwards we get into the core subjects of civil.2021 batch have 2019 scheme and from 2022 onwards scheme is updated. The carriculum prepare us for the realworld ,we have to do internship from 2nd year onwards. A drawback is that if they need to include current softwares related to civil other than STAAD and AUTOCAD. the advantage of cochin university is that they conduct the exams on time compared to other universities in kerala.And the exams are comparitively difficult than KTU.

At the final year (4thyear) students are eligible for their placement opportunities. Companies such as 6D technology, aremia and soti, Ashok Leyland etc are offering placement opportunities. More than 85percentage of students are getting job via placement. Personally my plan after degree is to write the MVD exam.

Placements are from end of third semester. Federal Bank, Icici bank, Icici Prudential, Burger paints, Cafe coffee day, Reliance etc are coming for placements. More than 95% are getting placed in placement drive.

The placements will start onwrd 7 semester. Top recruters are TCS, L&T, HMT machine tools etc. The highest LPA offered last year was 25 LPA. The average offered LPA is around 5-6 LPA . The college support each students to get placed in good company .

From 3rd semester, students are eligible for campus placements. The companies include federal bank ICICI Bank, Turn B, DHL, Reliance, Kellogg's, and Kimji Ramdas. The highest package was done by Kimji Ramdas for around 21 lakhs per annum. Around 90% of students are placed. My plan is to get placed after the completion of the course.

Campus placement is really good . We have 95% placements and the return on investment is high in comparison with the fees paid. The average package is 8lpa and highest package is 22lpa. The major recruiters are federal bank, icici bank, max, tcs, dhl,deloitte, walkrao

Cusat School of engineering provides placement opportunities for students. When students completing or on the end semester seven the placements starts. There are many companies are visiting for placements like tcs, wipro, tata elxi, ibm and more. The highest package in cusat soe is around 20LPA. The most of the placement from saftey and fire engineering and computer science engineering. The average placement package is 3LPA.my plan after getting enginneering degree was i want to get some experience in job side so, I will work for company and after getting experience, I will start a comapany.

I choosed this course because of the growing opportunities in the field of computer science and i thought taking this course is nice for the future. The curriculum is very well structured so that it prepare us very suitable to land on a job as a software engineer without any difficulties. The area i thought they could improve is that they can make the computer science subjects a little more practical that the class should also be like a lab. Rather than theories. The examinations are conducted every 6th month and the difficulty is high.

Hundred percent placement is provided with an average package of 6-7 lakh. The highest package went to 1800000 slme years. The lowest is 500000.Companies visited are Runaya, MRF, CEAT, Appolo, Indigo, Yokohama etc. My plan was to pursue Mtech.
