Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

Daily Life of a Student

Likes

It is good college, zero pollution, eco friendly
Friendly facilities,easy to reach,good service
Open ground, great opportunity,good digital service

Dislikes

Too many cultural programmes were given everyday
Don't have many meals at the college canteen
College occupied next to the road so too much sound

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum based on chemistry so I choose it.curriculam has literally small relevance there for it doesn't prepare an individual for real world application specifically in todays application. The curriculum only focus on theory rather than application. curriculum should focus on hand on experience of that course.

The college is co-educational and non-sectarian, maintaining a secular outlook with freedom of individual faith and thought. Its an interesting way to convey students
Our college has been blessed with University rank holders every year bringing out the academic glory.The Miniplex Theatre known as the Tagore Theatre with 150 seats started in 2012 is the first of its kind in the affiliated colleges in Kerala.

There is no active sports & necessary things in sports
No canteens inside the campus is a minus point
Not more parking space us needed to students

Its a three-year undergraduate degree program that provides students with the knowledge and skills to succeed in business management and administration so i think the best college to do this course is ymbc they also do add on courses with this

Library is always crowded.Books we want are very rare toget
Five periods only available a day it make us less time to study
Computer labs has no wifi so we should connect over personal wifi

I have six papers.In kerala government made four-year degree this year (2024) this made a huge change in Past syllabus.this was a sudden change but compare to old syllabus it is very easy many change in the syllabus was to obtain a job in future.it was very credential and exams for some courses are MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS.these things made exams easy

Life in Sacred Heart

Professors treated us like family. Computer science department has the best faculty. It was a very vibrant campus with a lot of events happening every now and then. You will not miss out on your college life if you study here. IVs were also very nice
Final year project assistance is provided. Very good placement support is there. Class rooms are air conditioned so we didnt suffer in summers. Unlike other colleges, the do not give sem break, instead they give us two months of holidays every year.
Every april and may would be a holiday. All festivals are celebrated. It is a very inclusive campus. You get the best food from SHC canteen. The college infrastructure is beautiful. Thelake view of SHC campus has a seperate fan-base.

Dislikes

Pass mark scheme they follow was kind of unfair when compared to other colleges. Here you have a certain pass mark for your internals which you have to meet and the same with external exam also. The real problem is that the final pass mark required
for you to pass in a particular subject is a few marks greater than the sum of the other two pass marks. Or in simple words you can say you will fail even if you get just pass mark in both internal and external examinations as you might not have gott
the total pass mark required to pass that subject. Condonation is another thing that can be real pricy here so its better if you keep up your attendance above 75%.

Placement Experience:

Placements stat from 4th sem onwards. Accenture, airtel, orion, EY Gds etc. hired this time 2LPA is the average package In my batch 90% of the students went for higher studies Most of them who got jobs, got in through campus placement
