Yeah it's very good for class room is great and lab is workable we have onam programs and xmas, arts day, sports day, youth festival, freshers day its good there is two clubs nss and nature club and good friends
The attitude of the teachers were very rude but their way of teaching is very nice and we can easily score good marks in the exams.
The college have job placements in channels like asianet, and have some institutes like brilliant, also the channel karikku.we have internships at newschannels and other institutes and may get permanent jobs if they like our work.

Dislikes

Facilities are very bad theory is no very good infrastructure facilities provided
The distance from hostel to department is too large and its so difficult to walk
It's a very poor system that's made to waste the time of students as they cram everything from practicals and theory, leaving no space for real life applications .

Likes

Studying environment is quite good so it is good
Fees structure for students in the college is also good
Overall atmosphere is average compared to others

Dislikes

The timing between is exam is less . So preparation time is low
Students Studying inthe college is also less
The college events organized are in a bad manner

The curriculum is not so good . The timing between the exam is low so preperation time is also low thus the exam curriculum is bad the methods and approaches are not bad but need improvements so thats like it

Assumption college brings lifes to students

Likes

Our computer lab is fully furnished there is two AC the system is always updated
Our college have a three tier library centralised AC and has different category of books novel
Our college has an open Air gym which helps the children's to stay fit

Dislikes

Strict attendance in each period of class
Doesn't have best service to peak students from there location
The teachers are friendly but also strict at same time

Placement Experience:

Computer Science department we always have placement. Not only computer science department The Other department also offers great placement opportunity for each students in the college. Awesome should always have a great number of placement each year. And make the student eligible for the placement

Likes

I like the culture of the college, that there equal participation of the boys and girls
The atmosphere of the campus is very good for architecture
The classes are actually very good , and the lectures too.

Dislikes

Teaching methods can be improved some more.
The curriculum is very boring , having a suggestion of change
Infrastructure in the classes can be improved

Timing of exam are very bad in this university, semester exams is not there on the end of semester, it will be there on after 6months to 1 or 1and half years. curriculum can be made better. Teaching methods are just okk

One of the best engineering colleges in Kerala

Likes

The labs are well established and maintained. Old but good.
Library has more than enough copies of the books referred in the syllabus.
Chapters like ASME, SAE, IEEE and IEDC are very active and are participating in national level competition and winning.

Dislikes

Some faculties are not at all sincere about teaching.
Eventhough the association has a volleyball cum basketball cum badminton court facility in the auditorium just in front of the college, they will never allow volleyball or basketball to participate there.
The events are repetitive and boring. Need to improve.

Placement Experience:

Students become eleigible for campus placements from the sixth semester. TCS, CTS, Wipro are the main techno companies and Bosch is one of the main core companies. The percentage of students getting core jobs is less but in IT fields it's not an issue.

MACE FOR ME

Likes

One of the main pros about my college is that it's atmosphere. Campus is filled with pleasent air and so much greenery.
Another one is the social interaction. All members of our college are literally like a family. Seniors and juniors are really friendly and supportive of each other.
Next one is the technical facilities provided by the campus. All the necessities required for the growth of a real engineer, is provided by the campus management. It's placement records are quite impressive and desirable for any campus in Kerala.

Dislikes

Complex management system is good, but some times it can be so overwhelming.
The sincerity of some faculties towards finishing their subjects are sometimes questionable
Overall placement records are excellent. But for some years, the placements recieved for each departments will have a greater difference and which confuses the students to choose the corresponding departments of this college. Hence becomes subjective

Placement Experience:

Well, Our college has a massive placement records. Main technical companies like , TCS, IBM, Wipro, banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank , other companies like , Ather , Bosch, Toyota etc approaches our college for selecting students for their firms. Our college offers minimum salary packages about 3.5 lakhs per annum to mighty packages like 15-18 lakhs per annum for both UG and PG graduates. Around 65 percentage of students from the classes are getting placed every year.

Introduce new methods for learning and more architecture related facilities should be provided. we have university exam every sem and 2internal exams every sem so we can study more ,i chose this course because I need to do something for society and improve the lifestyle of each individual

An average college experience

Likes

The college offers various scholarships based of marks and other merits.
They held placement drives and internship opportunities
Constantly held seminars and talks from popular figures.

Dislikes

The staff is extremely incompetent.They teach half heartedly and have no enthusiasm in teaching the students.
The computer lab is pathetic.Half the system there doesn't work,and the ones that do work can't even run a simple program without breaking down
College faculty shows extreme partiality towards students,based on whom they like better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very intresting, personally speaking.It's understandable and gives us most information we need to know on the subject on a basic level.The textbooks we refer to are adept for us students.But the teaching methods were very poor.

My college has a tradition of 103 years of legacy
The campus is very clean and tidy and provide a green scenery
The building in the old model is the most beautiful.

Dislikes

Being an old building, there is no technological development
Seminar halls are not available in all departments.
Hostel time restriction has been placed. That is why it is difficult to be a student

Grounds and places are good and hall are extreme good.

Likes

Teachers use experiential learning to make students industry ready
Infrastructure is top notch and they try to adapt to latest technology and methods.
Fests and programs are held to help students build connections with reputed individuals and businesses

Dislikes

First years are not allowed to bring their vehicles inside the premises
Strict and sometimes ridiculous policy over dress code regarding clothes as well as shoes.

Students are eligible for campus placements from sixth semester. EY, Deloitte and KPMG are known for providing such opportunities to students of my college. Highest and average package is about 3-6 lakhs p.a. My plans after degree include receiving work experience before pursuing MBA abroad.
