IIT Indore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the fourth semester student become eligible for campus placements and in the third year they also get internships from several companies. There are many companies which visited the campus last year which included Microsoft's and many more. The highest for our campus was 75 lakhs and the average was around 20 lakhs and like almost 90% of the students.

Usually from the 6th semester students for eligible for campus placements. Plenty of companies visitid in college like Infosys, Adobe, Amazon etc. The latest message in was not so good there were some least offers were provided then the previous year. Highest package of IIT Indore post 68 lpa and the average package was 25.45 lpa which were provided by Amazon, sales force, and goldman sachs. Percentage of students getting place depends on branch but on an average it is approx 90%. I get a good job after btech then it's okay otherwise I am planning for a master degree after b.tech.

In IIT this curriculum changes from branch to branch I am in electrical engineering therefore it changes from branch to branch but at last in campus placements we have to be in coding profile and good coding is very important.

Faculty is very cooperative they supports us. Course is up to date match with latest industry trends. As the iits are government-funded colleges you will get concessions in fee if you are from an economically weaker section and it is around 1.2lakh per year. If you are not in the category of ews. you should pay 3lakhs per year

my course is computer science because i am very intrested in coding and technical ascepts faculty and is very friendly and experienced in IIT all faculty members in they are Dr's and they are very experienced

The course M&C is mainly about computer science and engineering and some applications of that which we can solve using mathematics.Exams in IIT Indore are in a moderate level,in which we can score upto a decent level only by attending classes & we have a very great teaching staff with a good faculty:student ratio

The placements in college are good but now at 2023 placements are not good as compared to previous years but since IIT 's are top colleges in India therefore always placements at IIT are always good compared to other colleges.

AQR Capital, Addverb Technologies, Arcesium, Barclays, Bosch, Capgemini, Code Nation, and D.E. Shaw are among the companies that offer job opportunities for students, provided they become eligible for placement after their 6th semester. The highest package offered by our institute is 68 lac, while the highest package for civil engineering is 46 lac. The average package offered by our institute is 25 lac, and for civil engineering, it is 20 lac. Overall, 90% of the students get placed in the institute, while only 70% of civil engineering students get placed, as they generally prefer government jobs or self-startups.

Students become eligible for placement after their 6th semester. Some of the top companies that visit for placement include Amazon, Flipkart, Razorpay, Oracle, Zomato, Deshaw, Microsoft, Wipro, Qualcomm Snapdragon, Samsung, and more. In the field of Electrical Engineering, out of 64 registered students, 62 were successfully placed with the highest package of 46 lakhs also average package is 26 lakh. The placement percentage for IT Indore is 96.88%. My plan is to pursue higher studies in foreign universities.
