The greenery at the college like it's super green and clean it gives an amazing vibe
Yes there are many scholarships like mmvy for mp students and many more for other states campus employment is also good several companies visited any offers good packages for each branches
Professor of manit is very good and helpful as well as students.

Dislikes

The hostel facility are not good satisfying.there are 3 members in the room.the food is not so good satisfying the food sometimes get spoil,sometimes water, electricity problems also seen in the hostel.
I disliked the ragging held here so its negative vibe of the college.
To get admission in gym here you have to qualify their exam which is wrong.

My experience of life at MANIT

Campus-Our college has the best Campus which spans over 800 acres.it has many places which full of fun
Social Life: we get lots of exposure about the world and get to know many new people coming from different parts of India.
College fests -Feast like Technosearch, Maffick and many more were we get to enjoy and have lots of fun

Dislikes

Department locations : Being a 800 acre campus we have to travel from hostels to departments by walk and they are located 6-7 kms from out hostels.
Old syllabus :As per the job market we should study the relevant things needed ,but our branches has irrelevant subjects that are not needed

Placement Experience:

Students from all UG courses having a gpa >6 till their 6th semester are eligible for placements. Companies that visit our campus are Microsoft,Google,JPMC,paypal,Bajaj,Goldman sachs,Deusthe bank, etc. Around 110 students got placed from our department.Highest package offered was 43Lpa and lowest 4 lpa. 64% students got placed.

College life at NIT Bhopal

Likes

The infrastructure of the departments, library, sports complex everything is great
Faculties are well qualified. Most of them are phd holders and have teaching experience of many years.
There are so many events and fest gets organised in our college like Maffick, technosearch,E-Summit tooryanad and so on.

Dislikes

Poor infrastructure of some hostels and mess food.
The washroom of the departments are mostly very dirty.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement from the 7th semester. Companies like adobe , adani , Microsoft, Amazon, Accenture, Infosys and many more visits our campus . This year 83 lakh per annum was the highest package offered. Above 95% of students are getting placed. My plans after the degree is to get high paid high salary job or to do further study in somewhere IVY league colleges.

Brief about MANIT BHOPAL

Likes

Campus is vast and green. Fresh air and maily prime location between the city of bhopal
Location is very excellent and availability is good

Dislikes

Hostel washrooms are untidy and warden is not much concerned
Hostels are very far away from college and labs

Placement Experience:

This year 2 students got pre placement offer of 1.2 crores from computer science engineering department. Talking about my own branch... average package was around 13-14 lakhs per annum...also the average of CSE was about 23-25 per annum

Overall review of Manit

Likes

Campus infrastructure and area is one of the things I liked
Overall class strength is also good i.e. nearly 100 is 1st year

Dislikes

Sports opportunities are lacking ,like doesn't have a cricket ground

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. MANIT has an average package of nearly 12 lakhs. And the highest package of nearly 68 lakhs. I have to start my own company after getting the degree.

MANIT is quite lively among other NITs

Likes

Campus Area- The campus is a vast area which gives us enough space for walks or any other activities. The campus is of 650 acres and hence sometimes it's difficult to cover it by simple walk but overall it's fun to explore it with the greenery
Social Life- The campus provides so many different societies and activities that no one sits particularly idle. Along with studies the co curricular activities really helps to keep the life happening.

Dislikes

Power Dominance and Politics- Like any college this one also got power and dominance in college politics, though I don't like it but it's not a big concern

Placement Experience:

Huge placement opportunities for B.Tech students are there but for B.Arch hardly there's one or two company and that is very much focused on civil oppurtunities not architectural, hence we find our own jobs. And to remind there's no need to panic, as everyone gets well placed even without placement.

Junior & senior intereaction is quite unique here and very helpful

Campus is really big I mean 650 acre so you have to walk a lot
There are a lot of restrictions during the first few months

Placement Experience:

The placements of Manit is quite decent, the cse and ece placements are quite good There is a huge dip in the placements this year due to the ongoing recession which will hopefully get over after that I think the placements will again improve You can get placement data online, I think of this year it have not been released

A college more than college

Likes

a beautiful lust green campus always attract me
hostel's mess food was also good in taste
also the average placement was college was too good

Dislikes

distance between hostel and college was too far to walk
restriction on first year about time constrains
senior junior interaction was also not healthy

Placement Experience:

companies visited are infoysis,tata, facebook,amazon,etc. Highest package is 1.2 crore and average package is 14 lakh per annum. Around 87 percent students are placed.i should go for job in core sector

Truth about Manit Bhopal

The college campus is very big. Like in other NITS vehicles are not allowed but in NITS Bhopal vehicles are allowed which becomes very convenient in commuting.
The faculty here is good and supportive too. There are many societies here which enhance the cultural activities here. There are many facilities which are available inside campus like sports complex, gym , Library, barbar shop ,and many labs .

Dislikes

Hostel facility is not that good. Ragging is prevalent here, due to which students are not able to explore their college properly.Many facilities here are not allowed for first year students due to ragging.
Hostel food is average on quality because mess fees is less if compare to other nits. There is frequent shortage of internet and water in hostels. But now the hostel is improving slowly.
Faculty is sometimes absent and the pace of teaching is also not according to the students due to which students remain doubtful in the concepts. In some classes the syllabus is not complete due to which students have to do self study.

Students get placement from 4th . And from 2nd and 3rd year they can also do internship. College placement is very good for CSE branch. Almost more than 90 percent students get placement. Highest package in CSE was 82 lpa .Many companies like Facebook,bharti Airtel visited .

LIFE AT MANIT

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is old but unique and beautiful.
The faculty is highly qualified and deserving.
Campus life is amazing and mesmerising and nice

Dislikes

Faculty is somewhat strict and grumpy at times.
The college is too strict about the 75% attendance criteria.
Workload is heavy and somewhat exhauasting at times.

Placement Experience:

Students from 4th year become eligible in the btech program for the college placements. Companies start visiting the college at the beginning of the academic year and keep coming till the end. They provide internship and placement offers to the deserving candidates.

A Comprehensive Review of MANIT Bhopal

Likes

The big area of the campus which is spread across 650 acres, where you have much time to explore your campus.
The great diversity among the studens and teachers of the college.

Dislikes

Despite being one of the biggest NIT's in India, there are very limited transportation facilities available within the campus.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in the college are excellent and nearly all the big tech companies do visit the campus for the placement. the students of the 7th semester are eligible to sit in the placements and in the year 2023, the CSE department made 100% placement with an average package of 25.6 LPA. Nearly all the big Tech Companies like Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Netflix visited our campus and selected many students.
