IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college is quite popular for its placement. The college has a 100% record for placement. The college placement committee is very active and dedicated they properly take our feedback and help us and work as a guiding force during the college placement round. The college placement committee makes sure that every one of us is placed as per our interests. The highest package for our batch was around 1.25 CPA and the average salary package was approx 18.50 LPA. Few of my batchmates received international placement and few of them received pre-placement offers.

You can sit in placements starting from the seventh semester. A huge amount of companies visit and it boasts 100% placements for those who sit in placements. The highest packages reach up to 20 million INR per annum, the average package lies around 800000 pa, 99% of students who sit for placements get placed. Not sure. My options are MTech in Data Science or a job in the same field. Depends on the salary offered.

I was interested in doing MBA from a college with a better ROI. The course curriculum is very comprehensive and up to the business standards. The faculty to the student is very good for every 5 students we have one faculty. Faculties have done their PhD from world renowned Universities. The exams are conducted 4 times per year. The exams are more practical and it's quite easy to pass. The grading system is very good at SJMSOM

The college placement committee is so much dedicated that they are aware of the students requirement and interests. The highest package for our batch went up to 55 LPA and the average package was around 25 LPA. IIT Bombay provides you with the best return on investment.

Placement Common Aptitude Test (PCAT) is one common test student has to sit for before appearing for the placements on the campus. 428 offers ( 71- Aerospace ) were made in the field of Engineering and Technology. 83% of my batch mates got the jobs. Each top-notch company, multinational company and conglomerates participated in this placement week and picked up the bright students of the batch.

Placements here at IIT are a dream come true. In my batch, 475 students got placed in companies. IITB-PCAT is a standardized test, designed to minimize the number of aptitude tests conducted by the recruiting companies which one has to sit for before the start of the placements. The highest CTC went above Rs. 16 LPA. PPO (Pre-placement offer) was 131, one of the highest to date. I also got placed in an MNC with a great CTC.

100% of the batch gets placed in IIT Bombay MBA. Companies like Pidilite, Tata Sky, RIL, Flipkart, ACT, GS, CRISIL, etc visit the campus to recruit for different roles in operations, finance, and general management. Overall, campus placements are excellent here, with an average package of 20+ lakhs and a top package of over 45 lakhs.

The college's placement cell works exceedingly hard and establishes new milestones for campus placements with each passing year. In 2021, 108 students were placed in various firms, with the highest CTC being 32.80 lacs. There are 100% placements, and they are competitive with those offered by India's leading business schools. Following graduation, I intend to work in an SCM role for an FMCG company.
