IIT Bombay Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placements are very good here with the average package being 23 lakhs and the highest around 50 lakhs. Final year students are eligible for the same and companies like Reliance, Mckinsey, Amazon, GS, IDFC, Tech Mahindra, etc visit the campus for various operations, finance and general manager roles. Almost 100% of batch gets placed.

Students are offered summer placements during the first semester and consists of a host of well reknowned companies the information for which is available on the official handles of college on social media platforms and also the website. Students become eligible for placements in the final year. There are 100% placements and they are competitive with the placements offered at the top b schools across India. I plan to work at an FMCG company in an SCM role post my graduation.

With each passing year, the college's placement cell works extremely hard and sets new standards for campus placements. With a total of 108 students being placed in various firms in 2021, the highest CTC was 32.80 lacs. Furthermore, the average package was around 22 to 23 lakhs. This year, 16 additional recruiters were added, including Infosys, consultancy JCB, Mars, Paytm, and others. Some seniors were hired for investment banking and management consultancy positions.

Our college is well known for engineering programmes, yet management placements here are better than those at so-called top management schools. During 2020 placements, we were able to record an average income of INR 21.9 lpa, with over 90% of students being hired. Companies such as JP Morgan, Microsoft, Accenture, Amazon, and HCL Technologies participated in the placement drive, with the maximum compensation package for the 2020 class being INR 32.5 LPA.

IIT Bombay is more famous for engineering placement but even the management placements are far better than the rest of the so-called B-school of India. Our batch was able to secure an average salary of 22.9 LPA. During the placement of our batch, the college was able to secure a 100% placement record. The highest salary package was 33.50 LPA and the lowest was 18 LPA. Companies like Accenture, HCL Technologies, Amazon, Microsoft, Bajaj, Tata Group, TCS, Infosys visited our campus during the placement drive.

Students are allowed to sit for placement in the fourth year and there are world class companies who visit us and offer a huge amount of salary. Last year highest package was 1.5 crore rupees for students of MEMS cracking an IT company offer.

If any student wants to get placed, he can easily get placement no matter what your branch is because the IIT Bombay tag is enough to get a quality job. I am planning for UPSC after BTech I have no interest in corporate.

All final year students are eligible for placements. Companies from all the domains (tech, consulting, finance) visit the campus for placements for domestic and international placements. Packages for students can vary from 8 Lacs p.a. to 1 CR p.a. While some of the students don't appear for placements, due to plans of higher studies or pre-placement offers from their summer internships, most of the students who do get offers.

As I am graduated with B.Tech for if I want to study more so I should to M.Tech by the best college in India so, I started to study harder to crack my entrance, and luckily I got good marks in the entrance test and god the admission in IIT Bombay.
