Likes

The teaching faculty is excellent. they are expert and have a very good knowledge about the topics.
Scholarship will be soon arranged for the students who achieves by giving a test and is eligible for scholarship.it is important to be able to provide scholarship for althose who are in need .they need to be helped .
Students will absolutely enjoy their campus life as there are various fests, different days are celebrated and the campus itself is very beautiful to enjoy.

Dislikes

I don't like the faculty member of these college, also the hod is a liar.
The admission process was not that difficult but the website was very bad to handle...
Big line for paying fees, fees structure, no online payment available for many colleges

My College Review

Likes

Teachers are well educated and experienced. There consists Post Graduate department teachers which teaches some of the courses to first year students as well.
Our college have lots of clubs for exposure, and campus events are also held annually (Technical and Non-Technical).
Hostels are nice. Wardens maintains discipline regarding regulations of the hostels. Canteen provides healthy food.

Dislikes

Campus is a bit small area-wise. There is issue of parking and play grounds.
For cricket and football, college helps hire the ground as per students need.
All courses are traditional based learning, not much practical exposure expected.

Placement Experience:

College provides Internship Drives and Placement Drive in the third and fourth year respectively. For Internhsips, around 15-20 companies visit and for Placements more than 100 companies visits. The companies have different criteria to shortlist students, sometimes they are helding Hackathons and sometimes they take Coding Assessments. For Computer department, the average students placed till date is 97%.

My college is autonomous and exam is conducted by the college itself. So the passing is easy because of syllabus is not vast. Students do not get burden of exams. So the students can focus more on skills rather focusing on academics.
Everyday we have practical labs. So we can learn practical skills which are needed in the industry. Many Clubs are organised so that students can participate in it and can discover themselves. Many seminars are conducted for students.
Teachers are very supportive in academics as well as other activities. They solve our doubts whenever we approach them. They guide us on how to choose right career.

Dislikes

The placement is average. It does not meet our expectations. The average package offered is 4LPA. It should be 6-7LPA.
They does not organized many functions like college fest and all. Students are tired of everyday classes. They need some refresment.

Placement Experience:

Students from fifth sem are eligible for campus placements. The companies visted are infosys, cognizant, amazon, accenture, pct, nutanics, TCS, wipro, Tech mahindra, etc. The average package offered is 3.5-4 LPA. The highest package offered was 22LPA. The percentage of students getting placements is around 60% and is improving. My plan is to secure a job before or after the degree.

Likes

I'm a Direct Second year student in my college. College provide us many facilities like canteen, library, auditorium for events. Campus and Environment of the college is very good. Even i met many new friends in this college i'm direct second year
College support system is fabulous mentors provides us many new skills and Guide us positively.i truly appreciate our faculties and their efforts towards students.Teaching method is practical more than theory every concept is clear by giving exampl
My college provides us incredible opportunities for our growth and development. They provide us many internship opportunities and placement opportunities. college have many communities that helps us to choose our interest in the latest field.

Dislikes

The Strict attendance policy, so that it's little difficult to manage time.

Placement Experience:

College provides on Campus Placement, many high rated companies like Wipro, TCS, Thyssenkrupp and many more provides package up to 10 Lakh. The Highest Packages a student got from our college is 25 Lakh. Last Year students (BE) can only take advantage of on campus placement.

The Campus is very good and the structure of campus is also attractive have a very big college
having a large canteen with good facilites
Various events are arranged for students every month

Dislikes

No big Comapanies come to College for Placments and the avg package (engineering) is about 3.6lakh
in library , there are ac but they dont put it on
according to my review i feels that the uniform should be changed as it looks like petrol pump uniform especially for engineering students

Placement Experience:

From the 6th Semester Students are Eligible for the placements . Companies visited to college for placemts are Zensar , Bharat Nxt etc. The Highest College Package is 7 lakh. 45 % of students getting placements. To get a high paying job is my plan to get after the degree

Teaching Staff is very cooperative and friendly they don't make you feel like a burden
Fest conducted at departmental levels are very innovative and inclusive there's no partiality
During the fest they make you take up difficult tasks and help you with them it रिअल boosts moral

Dislikes

Management team during the cultural fests is not upto the mark
Non teaching staff like the accountants etc are not helpful and very rude
Lack of proper and clean washrooms for both girls and boys

Course Curriculum Overview:

My personal reason for choosing geography was due to my background of competitive exams. Most of the topics covered overall in 3 years covers major portion for competitive exams. That is the main reason why I chose this course. In terms of real world applications the topics taught in the class and the practicals we perform are very important in terms of calculating land for various purposes also certain equipments help us determine weather conditions and the changes that occur as well the reasons for those changes. As of for now I don't feel like there's one specific area or areas where change is needed the curriculum is set properly according to the needs of the respective job opportunities.

all though faculty are good enough all your placement depends on your CGPA
campus life is really good , hostel facilty are also avalable
infrastructure is also good , seperate building for CS/IT and another building for entc / mechnical

mess food is not good , average aur below average food
hostel wifi sometime dont work or during college time wifi is off
campus is very big need your personal vehical

after 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement many mass recrutment are coming in campus like tcs , infosys , hcl and many more average placement is 4-5 lpa and highest is 10 depends on your skills and and your dsa knowledge

Experience of my college

Likes

I like surrounding of these college which including green plants and I also likes labs of the college for example computer labs are available to every departments and chemistry lab, physics lab are also good and highly maintained.

Dislikes

I dont like education of some departments, there are no good teachers to teach us properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The first reason is the scope of this course and the second reason is that I like this course.There is a separate department of this course in my college and it is taught in a good way. The exam was not that difficult. All those who study can pass.

Teaching was much better of my college in classroom
Practicals and theoretical things were teachen nicely
Campus was very good and other curriculum activities were good

Campus placement which should be good were not that much good
Some teachers were having much attitude which was not good
Some students which were proper were doing other students blackmail

Campus placement is very good of my college many big big mnc companies visit to my college for placement highest package provided by some companies is 9 lakhs per annum 25 percent studente get placed in college campus

The Zeal College

The facilities are good like computer labs, gym, library, music and instruments.
The infrastructure is also quite good including campus amenities and learning facilities.
Ground is also big and playful with many sports equipment's available to play.

Dislikes

Some faculties are not good! teaching methods, mentorship and their expertise is poor.
Placement services are also quite bad, low support provided for career advancement.
The college should also focus on skills of their students for better placements and future.

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is quite good, but not better than average college placements in Pune. From 6th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placements, in 5th semester students have to an mandatory internship. Many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Google, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Cape Gemini, etc. have visited and made plenty of offers in the past years with students having quality. Highest package in my college is of 18.5 LPA in Amazon company and average package is around 3.5 LPA. Percentage/Pointer SGPA of many studetns getting placements is above 7.5 (70%). My plans is to prepare for on-campus placement drive and if I didn't got selected in on-campus then I will apply for off-campus in some selected companies.

What is your review of Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)?

Saikat Das,studied at Savitribai Phule Pune University (2020)

One of my friends recently graduated from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU). According to her, it is better to do anything rather than joining this institute. She mentioned some of the reasons that made her feel this way.

The institute only focuses on making money and not actual education.
The syllabus and curriculum followed by the institute are outdated.
Practical training is not properly given, making students lag behind the industry demands.
Basic things like a proper academic calendar are not provided.
Re-evaluation is time-consuming and usually not done properly.
A 60% from SPPU is not considered good enough for admission to other colleges. They do not consider it as first class.
They are known to have the worst and uncooperative staff members. They are not at all helpful or considerate about any problem.

It is suggested that you do not opt for SPPU as they are highly unprofessional. They do not have a proper way to conduct classes, assemblies, extracurricular activities and get involved in everything half-heartedly. SPPU is a good example of how a university should be not.
