My Journey

Likes

I like the environment of the college as it has less drama and the one thing I'm happy about is that our college does not provoke any tribe or community. Thus, tribalism is absent
The professors are well educated and teaches us with excellence and they are punctual and sincere in their works
The college is affordable and doesn't charge money regarding other side expenses

Dislikes

Some of the students lack discipline and manners.
We usually don't get to go on field trips and excursions.
The college doesn't provide Master course for most of the subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was always interested in Politics this, ended up in the political science department. I had heard that the professors out there were very professional and thus I had to join it as soon as possible. My expectations were made and hasn't been that disappointing so far

I like the college professors because they teach us soo well and education us well
Im in the college council serving for the general students and I'm very much happy to be a part in it
I've made friends with many professors and staffs in the college

Dislikes

Sometimes the teachers does not come regularly in the college
The water taps in the college does not work properly in the college
Sometimes the principal does not agree with our opinions

The course which I'm currently pursuing is really nice and good experience. It really provides a good understanding and deep thinking, the time duration for the exam is 3. The course is quite challenging but really good

Navigating college with purpose

Likes

Our college campus is big and apparently during sports we don't find difficult
Students are depends and can study from the library.
They provide atleast 5-6 educational event in one semester.

Dislikes

Distance issues, in order to travel it takes 30-40 min.
Issue of bus, apparently there is only 2 bus, 30℅ of students have to stand amd travel even after they charge the same fees as the seating.
For every programs they charged fines or penalty if we happened To missed

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, but could benefit from more in-depth exploration of certain areas, such as: - Technology integration in event management - Sustainability and social responsibility in events - Crisis management and risk assessment - International event management and cultural considerations Overall, the curriculum provides a solid foundation in event management, but could be enhanced with more specialized and advanced topics to make it even more comprehensive.

The library facility were the most enhance feature of the college
It was fun and the program started in time.
College campus is a place where we often played games

Dislikes

The information were mostly delayed and we students suffered
The toilet were in a bad conditions in others block
The college student were not taking care of the property

There were 2 courses offered arts and commerce . Most students choosed arts as there were more subjects to learn . We enjoy our college life though excluding the course offered we all miss the canteen

My Experiences at DGC(The goods and the bads)

Likes

The transportation and roads are very easy to navigate.
The teaching staff and extra curriculum and canteen and other food places are there.
They invite other Institute to help us students after graduation.

Dislikes

Information comes a little slow and are very sudden.
Availability of drinking water is a little hard but shops are near for buying it.
Lack of Dustbin around the campus causes difficulties in disposing trash

Course Curriculum Overview:

Arts are for useless people and science was hard so i stick to commerce. The curriculum helps us prepare nicely and the teachers finish fast and go for revision. Shorter classes in a day with few classes would help keep the students interested. 1 hour class for 5hours straight is too much. One exam per semester but test are there.

University campus is calm and peaceful and it is the safest place for girls students as well.
Teachers are very humble, friendly and interactive. They are all regular and punctual.
Faculty's of particular Geology department are so helpful who always ready to help students in every possible they can.

Dislikes

University doesn't provide internship programme for the students which is very much important.
University doesn't provide placement service
There is no cctv inside the campus which is very much essential for both students and faculty's security.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose Geology through carrier counseling I happened to meet a teacher who is kind and supportive to me. Timing of exams for theory paper is 10 am-1 pm. And for the practical exam, there is theory as well as viva

This is what about my College.

Likes

Teaching and the college environment. There are many lectures that are well aware about their subjects which makes students to catch up
Talking about the college environment, it's comparably great.
Since being to college, I came accross many good friends and also friends I have to lose to give a growth in me through physically and mentally.

Dislikes

Our college should actually have their own cantine where students can come and spend their off periods without going somewhere else to chill.
If only there was a lot of trees. I personally love to sit under it's shed.
I really wish private colleges provide atleast a free meal in a month.

Since childhood I have been doing well in English when it comes to elaborating poems and stories. This made me choose English as my honours. I love reading poems and novels. Our lectures also put much efforts in letting us understand the deeper aspect of novels and their origin.

Faculties are too good and understanding.and ready to help us anytime
Our college provide notes can you believe it
The environment is just amazing greeny and fresh

Gates are closed as soon as all the students are inside
Not free to go out once the gates are closed
Many classtests and exams i mean we want to enjoy

I have always been loving sociology since class 11 and i am so much interested in teaching so i chose to take up my major as sociology amd yeah this college provides me with best education and faculty and made me fall in love even more with my major paper

Likes

I like how the teachers are so well educated and confident about what they teach. They can be friendly and strict depending on the situation.
Various extracurricular activities which is fun and can play a big role in letting ourself go out among thousands of students
With lots of students comes a lot of competition which can be some mind of boost inorder to keep ourselves going

Dislikes

They could be less strict when it comes to hair colour and piercings. This is not high school anymore
I hate the sound system. They need to get a new one
I dont like how the PG and Ug students are always kinda separated when it comes to activities

Course Curriculum Overview:

I myself as a students with political science as my honours. i can proudly say that political science professors are the best. The outer knowledge they impart besides our syllabus is top notch. Test and assignment are given in a such a way it is easier for us at the end of the day when we write for exams. So far i have no complaints for their course curriculum and teaching methods.
