Dislikes
- Heavy traffic in the afternoon and noisy atmosphere.
- A little water logging during heavy rainfall
- Food courts close at night with no food stalls around
Placement Experience:
Our placements is good. Many of my fourth year seniors have already bagged an placement offer or are working as an intern in campanies like bny melon, tcs, info, atlasetc. An average of 10 lakh package can be expected if the cgpa is above 9.

Placement Experience:
the placements in computer science , BTECH department is average, you cant be completely dependent on the college for the placements. other than that you need to have a good CGPA for good in campus placement opportunities. Surely many companies visit our campus, but still the placements are average , you have to develope your own skills. my plan is to get a job after completing my degree, i ahve not thought much on it, because you know the world is chnaging so fast, there are so many opportunities getting created and destroyed simultanoeusly

- The teachers are partial, they do favouritism also favour local students.
- Campus is huge one can make a lot of friends and people are okay too.
- There are almost as many boys as there are girls faculty is average nothing extraordinary you would have to study on your own a lot.
Dislikes
- Faculty is nothing extraordinary they just teach for name sake
- Fees is much higher compared to quality of education
- Trying to accomodate too many students into one batch
Placement Experience:
Placements are average they tell you that they'd offer 100% placement but that is just not true. Average is somewhere around 4 lakhs highest last year was around 60 lakhs. You're eligible to sit for companies begining 6th semester. My plans are to go for masters.

- KIIT has good infrastructure and environment , lot of greenery and cleanliness.
- Most of the teachers are from IIT's and they know what they are explaining
- Hostel facility is also great . Cleaners come everyday to clean your room .
Dislikes
- Many teachers are fast paced and want to complete the syllabus.
- Hostel Mess's food is terrible because they make food very sweet .
- Wardens are very strict . You can't go to other person's room after 10pm in night and they will monitor you 24*7 .
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students become eligible for in campus internships and from 7th semester students become eligible for placements . Many companies like TCS , WIPRO , INFOSYS, DELOITTE, VOLVO , COGNIZANT and etc visited for placements . Highest package is around 63 lakhs per annum . And more than 95 percent student gets placement . After my degree I am looking forward to join an IT company and after gaining some experience I will pursue my masters degree.

- Good study culture. Teachers are experienced and helpful.
- Grading system is good. For a test there will be a few a re attempts in case you missed an exam. Also 2 chances for grade improvement.
- Attendance is not a very big issue. Although college demands for 75% but even if you have 60% and above it won’t be a big problem.
Dislikes
- Not a very good alumini connection. In fact we were kept distant from seniors in the initial semesters.
- There are not many options in case you are a vegetarian. Yes, you get good food in mess but still it is not up to the mark.
- Overall college is very big area wise. And the classes are allotted very far away from the hostel and many a times buses are also not provided. For me it takes around 20 min to reach class. But problem is not distance but weather.
Placement Experience:
Most of the students get placed from college itself. Avg package for cs is around 8.5 lpa. You are eligible for intersihips from 6th semester where college will provide a few offers from there side if you have good scores otherwise you'll have to search on your own. And companies start coming from the 7th semester for placement. I plan to do MBA after BTech.

- Hostel Management and Service is not as expected
- Class timings could be better and effective
Placement Experience:
Placement Cell of this college is good and active. Good comapnies and startups visits every year. They do give good packages based on the students performance and skill. The CGPA also matters on getting into which category of companies. Many mass recruiters also visits so the less skilled or less CGPA students can also hop into those.

- The campus here is vast and beautiful filled with all sorts of greenery.
- The professors here are very well educated
Placement Experience:
The placement here is very good and it used to guarantee placements before the recession of engineers. There are many companies visiting kiit like google Microsoft Infosys swiggy Zomato and many more such the highest package in 2023 was 63 lakhs and the average package this year was around 10 to 11 lakhs. With a placement rate of 90% last year. I will also be in a job after getting my btech degree

- Faculties and their behavior. Their helpful and cooperative nature and also their way of teching.
- The simple and easy way of learning by smart classrooms, high end labs and also about the teacher student relationship.
- There is a system of Teacher-student mentoring programe where students shares their problem and every details with them.
Dislikes
- Over burden of studies. The college focuses more in attending classes and clinical duties.

Placement Experience:
After completing the 8th Semester (internship) the students get placed in various hospitals across the country like Manipal, Appollo, Narayana, etc... The average package varies from 3-5 lakhs per year also changes with the state where they work. Almost every students get placed after completing the internship. The college also offers placement in its own hospital, KIMS Hospital if they want to work their.
My plan is to do M.Sc after completing B.Sc

- The weather is not suitable for summers and need to take ac
- The hostel food is worst and not worth it
- There are worthless hostel rules with unnecessary discipline
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students get eligible for applying in the placement cell.
Various companies visited like Deloitte, tcs , Amazon, google etc etc. highest package was 80 lakh and lowest was 6 lakh
More than 80% got placed.
I just want to get a proper job after getting the degree

- No ragging Plus campus is super friendly, people are nice , teachers are helpful you will be getting opportunity
- You will be getting all state of the art facilities
- Mess food is also great, it taste good like home

- Placement scene for non computer science students are bad
Placement Experience:
For computer science students placement is really nice comparing to other private colleges, you will be getting opportunity, like for CSE students it will be like 100@% placement
But for not CSE students placement is poor.
Mass recruitment was done by Deloitte and IBM and TCS.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
