- The faculty is very cooperative and do have a doctorate degree from good universities
- Seniors are helpful and the ratio of boys to girls is approx the same
- Infrastructure is good and overall knowledge regarding everything is given, Extracurricular activities are taken care of.
Dislikes
- The fee is little high for a middle class family
- There is no proper campus area as main roads pass through the college gate
- The strength is too much, 5000 students in first year
Course Curriculum Overview:
CSE is one of the most demanding courses in Btech field nowadays as the wrold is shifting towards AI and machine learning and KIIT do provide good oppurtunities in this filed. Programming is done.
In the first year all courses are being taught such as EVS and Bio and subhects from other branches also like electronics and electrical. Mechanical workshop are also being conducted.

- The necessary equipments and patient flow is really good.
- The number of facilities are more than adequate.
- The advance equipments are also present .
Dislikes
- Language barrier plays a major role for non odia students.
- There is always construction going on in the college.
- No holidays on Saturday and the duration of classes is leanthy.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Being a doctor is itself a blessing and saving life is the next best thing . The cirriculum is hard but teaches us the basic aspect of medical science and the exams are necessary so that the pressure doesn't fall on us during university exams.

- This college maintains a proper balance between sports and studies
- Campus is superb, spreading almost 900 acres
- Faculties are well educated and highly knowledgeable

- Exams and classes schedule are pretty hectic
- Food provided in the hostels is not upto the mark
- Placements could have been better across all branches

Placement Experience:
The highest package is 63 Lpa, lowest is 5-6 Lpa. Placements are awesome, you are eligible from the 6th semester onwards. Companies such as Accenture, Amazon, Siemens etc come for placements. 95% of students get placed. I am planning on doing a Master's after my degree.

- The campus is very huge so it will be an enjoyment for you.
- There are food courts in every campus so you don’t have to go out to eat and reasonable as well.
- There are plenty of Xerox and stationery shops near the campus which is very convenient
Dislikes
- The first year subjects are not that relevant to the course you are studying
- Lab classes can be more practical and thoughtful
- Changing blocks during classes can be hectic sometimes.
Placement Experience:
I think during 4th sem you start getting internship mails so try and go for that rather than ignoring them. The recruitment drive starts from the end of 3rd year. They're are various known companies as well as startup that can be visiting the campus

- The general things everyone would like at kiit is it campus , infrastructure, vast campus, and environment, and the facilities, events and opportunities that let us explore our field of interest in different activities.
- Faculties and their teaching style and behaviour.
- The transport management is also very good
Dislikes
- Hostel food is too unhygienic and bellow average sometimes
- The pda is too common here which I don't like
- And also the staffs are not very nice , very rude
Placement Experience:
The placements are good in our college, every year students get placed with a minimum package of 10 lakhs per annum and also on campus placements are available and students get placed too and many companies visit our college every year.

- The college campus is very big, the libraries are very luxurious
- The faculties are the best part of the college, very knowledgeable doctors
- College will provide good books and laptop
Course Curriculum Overview:
As I said the faculties are very well experienced so they prepare every students very well to face the real world. Every 10 students are given a mentor who will be there for everything. And faculties are available all the time whenever you need help with any subject or any clinical experience

- I like the friendly nature of professors.
- The staffs and classes are also good with digital board.
- The hostels are also well maintained and the students are also good.
Dislikes
- The girls to boys ratio is like 50:30. I think it's not so good.
- The hostel entry is very restricted. The wardens are strict.
- I don't the message food much as it offer's the same kind of food.
Placement Experience:
From 2 semester students become eligible for campus placements.There are various top of the world ruling Companies visited our college last year . There is like 80-85 percentage students placed.The highest and average package offered by the company is 54 lakhs and average is 6 lakh.My plans after getting a degree to serve my parents what I feel about them as of now I can't show them what I feel to them. After placements I gave them all money I earned.

- Sports centre is very good,they have so many gyms and so many grounds and facilities

- Hostel timings is very bad they should increase hostel outing timing
- Hostel food is not up to the mark,they should give good taste food
- Hostel staff is good behavioural,so you have to careful
Placement Experience:
From 6 th semester you are eligible for campus placement. so many big companies come here for placement sone of them like TCS,Amazon, Wipro etc .80 percent student got placement. Average package is 700000.

- good food facility are available in the campus.may canteens in different campus of KIIT are avilable with budget friendly foods are avilable in the canteen

- not coordination within classes.bunking rule isn't followed properly
- as day-scholar,hardly get time to come in time to class and go in time to reach my home.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The coding classes have made me intertesting in this course.It prepares me well to be place in a very good campus such as TCS,Infosys and many more or for higher prospective,I can do research on this data.The speeding up the learning process is too fast is not necessary as to capture that subject takes time.Diffuclty level is okay,neither too hard nor too easy.

- The infrastructure and the campus is world class indeed, great sports facilities.
- The faculties are well trained and are alumnus of iits and nits.
- The course curriculum is nicely designed.
Dislikes
- The hostel fees is exorbitant and the mess food is not upto the mark.
- Some teachers are really knowledgeable but fail to address the students correctly.
- Management is not upto the mark, they themselves are sometimes unsure of the happenings.
Placement Experience:
More than 500 companies visit KIIT. Most of which are IT companies. Highest package of 2024 is 53lpa and of 2023 is 63lpa.
The average package of cse is 7-8LPA. In 2024 there was a reduction in placement percentage.

Here is a review of KIIT University based on the experience of a close friend who is now an alumnus of the institute
Pros
- The institute offers a vibrant and happening campus life filled with fun activities.
- The institute gives extra attention to extracurricular activities and has a plethora of platforms through which one can pursue their passion.
- The accommodation facilities are decent and the hostel rooms are spacious. Hygiene is maintained
- The institute has excellent infrastructural facilities like a gym and swimming pool that charge money.
Cons
- KIIT fees are high and not everyone can afford it. This year the annual fees stood at ?3.5 Lakhs
- The faculty pool has average professors and very few are highly experienced.
- The institute also faces issues due to the huge batch size.
- The research culture and the lab sessions are poor and need to be worked on.
- The curfew for girls' hostels is another big concern here. The girls are expected to be inside the hostel by 7 30.
- Placements are decent considering the huge fees you have paid. There are several mass recruiters so getting placed won’t be a major problem.
In all, KIIT is a good choice if you have no financial constraints and want to live a luxurious campus life.

As far as B.Pharma placements are concerned. almost 70% of the students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA.
KIIT University offers good placement opportunities for all the students of the university. However, the placement package offered to B.Com students are lesser compared to other technical and management students.
