The following factors drove me to join the college: 1. It is a government college affiliated to Utkal University. 2. It is an autonomous college so evaluation process is smooth. 3. The college runs self-financing undergraduate and integrated courses. 4. The college allows co-education and scholarships.
The factors which drove me to choose this college are affordable admission fees, government college recognized as "College with Potential for Excellence " by UGC, accredited at 'A' level by NAAC,large campus, unique library and wide range of courses.
I chose BJB Autonomous College because it provides co-education and multi-faculty teaching facilities in all the streams and has the honours subject of my interest i.e Biotechnology. Another factor which motivated me to join the college is that it is ragging free.
I had a plan to study in an autonomous College since 12th for which I did a little research on the internet where I found this college which is affiliated to Utkal university and has awesome alumni 's. As it is a government college, the fees are usually low which I really like but for self-financing courses, they charge additional course fees as the equipments required is huge.
I chose this college because it had the most rare subject like biotechnology under its courses. As I secured good marks in my 12th, I was pretty sure that I would get admission into the college as it has high-cutoff.
The college is very well known across the state and I always wanted to study there. From all the courses that the college provides, I was more inclined to Zoology as a subject, so I opted for Zoology honours.
