Scholarships were available to students who scored first few ranks in the entrance exams, which were a great deal of help to them also, there are internships available through our mentors which is of great help.
Faculty are very good they teach well and they are very experienced with experience of 20 years, and fests happens every month and facilities are very good here like gym gardens library etc and place is very good
There are so many clubs like dance club, science club, maths club, etc and main beauty of the campus are very green and freedom of entry and exit anytime.

Dislikes

Firstly conduction of the entrance was very poor by nta.
At last the canteens. the foods of the canteens are ok but sometimes it too worst
I had a plan to do phd too but due to the academic stress and low facilities that this university is providing, i started to lose my interest on the subject.

Campus life, it is an open campus students get more freedom. And faculties are well trained persons. They provides good placement opportunities
Provides free transportation inside the campus

Dislikes

Mess food little wierd. The quality of mess food must have to improve

Placement Experience:

From fourth semester starts the placements And in third semester provides internship TCS, federal bank, south indian bank, icici preduncial and securities are the major companies visited for the placement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of the University was very good.Each year lot of improvements were taking place in various aspects.it will be useful for continuous improvement of students in various level .By adding new things in the syllabus it will be useful for many more improvement at students level

Pondicherry University - Analysis

Likes

Green campus, eco friendly, good transportation facilities
Good faculties, good curriculum, good reading room
Good food, good canteen, affordable fee structures

Dislikes

Limited number of hostels, students coming under spot allotment are not to getting hostels
A lot of political parties like sfi abvp are here
A lot of dogs are here in the campus and they are creating problems to students

From the first semester students are available for the student exchange programme third semester we can sit in placement programs The main companies coming to University of banks like federal Bank Bandhan Bank SBI Bank of America Bank of Baroda South Indian Bank. The average lpa is 4 lakh

Ups and downs of PU

Likes

Reading room facility it is so helpful for studios students
The sports in college, especially the football matches
Hostel facilities with 24×7 Wi-Fi availability

Dislikes

Library is not 24 hrs, the department also same the lab and all should be available for students even after class hours
Academics and less placements, should bring mire placements
This increased strength in the university as well as your class.

The only reason I chose this university is because, it was a central university. The department is a bit old fashioned its syllabus is also the same. The teaching style depend on the teachers. According to me ot was a very hard

I like Pu night life

It is an old and famous university in india
Providing placement opportunities to the students.

Dislikes

Lack of infrastructure fecilities. Because of poor administration

Placement Experience:

For Data analytics.there are no companies are coming. Only one or 2 companies. The high package is 5lakh. Most of students choose banks for placements.that is sales jobs..more than half of the students will get placed

The part I liked in the college is Admission part.
The other part I liked in the college is Friends.

There is no Extra curricular activites in this College.

I chose Aritificial Intelligence and Data Science in Bachelors of Technology as the course was very popular and growing. The curriculum was better and the lab facilities in the lab was Okay. Student faculty Ratio 6:56. Timely exams were conducted every month.

Lack of teaching Classes and not proper fee strucure

From semester 6,students are eligible for placements Tcs(4LPA,Accenture$LPA,Kar(6LPA),Virtusa(6LPA) Heighest package is 18 LPA from Zoho company out of 100% there is chance of 40% can be placed I want to take UPSC course after getting degree

The campus are environmental free. Student are more comfortable with the staffs
The campus is very clean and discipline. Well trained staffs
The students can clear their doubts at any time with their staffs

Dislikes

The cost of studying in smvec is high compared to other colleges in Pondicherry
The food which is provided in by the canteen is not good

The 5th and 6th semester students are eligible for the campus placement there are more then 100 company offered for placement like Amazon and big fout mnc there are more then 80 to 90 percentage of students getting placements in every year

I Have complited my MBA from Distance in year 2021 but i received mu mark sheet and certificate with wrone name. Insted of my name they have put my father's name. So even after sending mails of like 26 times and sending DD of Rs 1100/- they have not done anything and there is no reply in mail and no one oiks up the call. I am so frustrated and loosing hope. I really dont know when this will be corrected..
