The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

THERE ATTENDANCE POLICY IS QUITE FRUSTRATING , IF YOU DONT HAVE 75% OF ATTENDANCE THEY WILL NOT ALLOW YOU TO SIT IN THE INTERNAL EXAM AND IF YOU WANT TO SIT YOU HAVE TO PAY HUGE AMOUNT FOR PER EXAM FOR EXAAMPLE YOUR ATTENDANCE IS BELIW 70% IN

Chandigarh university has very vibrant atmosphere. The campus hosts numerous events , cultural fests and clubs that caters to various interests. The faculty at chandigarh university is known for its knowledge and expertise .
It has a very strong placement support, with connections to top companies all across the world. Regular career guidance sessions, industry talk and internship offers student valuable exposure to the profession world.
The campus also provide amenities like hostels, sport complexes, auditoriums and tech related classroom . Many courses also research focus encouraging students to engage in innovation and problem solving .

Dislikes

Overcrowding in certain programs . Due to its popularity and large student intake sometimes some classrooms and programs have become overcrowded.
For students who commute or live off campus , the transportations option can be limited or inconsistent.
While the campus offer extensive hostel facilities , some students have raised concerns about cleanliness and maintenance , citing issues such as overcrowding, limited space etc.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for campus placements starts from 6th semester for undergraduate students . No of companies - 350 -400 such as carelon, kpmg, hike education, s&p global, accenture , wipro, tcs , ibm , microsoft etc. Highest package for the tech role is 26lpa and the average package for the same is 6lpa The overall placemnet rate of palcements at chandigarh university is 90%

Masters during Lockdown in Chandigarh University

I studied the course during lockdown, still the faculty was available on a daily basis even while the students had multiple doubts.
There were multiple sessions for honing one's skills and the classes were made interactive.

Dislikes

There were strict deadlines for assessment submissions, even though some of the students were going through difficult times during COVID- 19.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in campus placements from the third semester. There was a strict attendance policy which were to be followed by every student if they wanted to sit for placements. We received emails from the placement coordinators regarding all the opportunities coming our way and the details of the different roles offered by the companies. In my class, almost all the students were eligible to sit for the placements, and 70-80% of them got placed as well. Most of them are still working with those companies. The main demographic location from which the companies came were Chandigarh, Bangalore, Gurugram, Mohali.

The curriculum is not well maintained...

They provide a lot of opportunities for students. One can easily get placement if has a little good skillset . They bring at lot of companies every year More than 50-60 percent student get placement easily

Chandigarh University : A Hub of Endless Opportunities.

The placement opportunities are best among all private universities in India and also placement cells are so active they try to get each and every student placed. Also during peak time there are generally 5-6 companies visiting campus everyday.
Preparation books are provided to each and every student that include subjects like DSA, Aptitude, DBMS and OS that are very important subjects in interviews. Also these subjects are part of the syllabus as well which is very beneficial for students.
Communications Skills Classes is a subject in every semester which turned out to be great help in gaining confidence and learning public speaking skills. Also there were mock interviews to give us idea on how to answer tricky HR questions.

Dislikes

The campus is huge there is no means of transport for student either we have to bring our own personal mode of transport like bicycle or we have to take paid rickshaws which take around Rs 10 per trip. Bicycle Stands should be there for students.
Sometimes the attendance seems to be a great issue as CU has strict attendance policy of maintaining 75% attendance. You are not allowed to give exams if you do not fulfil attendance criteria.
Some labs PCs are outdated. They hang if we try to run heavy software like AUTOCAD, Android Studio and etc. These lab needs to updated. Sometimes we are asked to bring our own laptops for the lab lectures which seemed to be unfair to me.

As such there is no eligibilty certeria based on sems. If there is any company visiting campus that is allowing that year student to sit in placement drive college has no issue in it. But companies generally start visiting campus in 3rd year beginning. Arround 200 companies visited the campus as per my knowledge. I guess no of offer made are arround 1000. Highest package on campus was offered by ZScalar arround 40lpa and the average package is arround 7lpa on campus. Also there are other companies offering arround 35lpa like AUTODESK and mojor companies were arround 8lpa-12LPA like BELZABAR SOFTWARE DESIGN, BLUE YONDER, ZASSOCIATES , PLAYSIMPLE GAMES and etc. Profiles were developer ,BA , associate software engineer, devops engineer, computer scientist , QA and etc. The percentage of 2024 was less due factors like recession its arround 60%. I am current working as software developer in BELZABAR SOFTWARE DESIGN and thinking of doing excutive MBA from CU.

not enough leaves/ holidays are given. 75% attendance critera
sometimes it becomes difficult to get your medical leave approved
relative grading - this leads to fall in cgpa

Placement Experience:

the college offers good number of placement opportutnities for post graduate and under graduate students. students become elegible for their placements from fifth semester (Under Graduate) and third semester (Post Graduate). the average package is around six lac rupees per annum and the highest package recieved was ten lac rupees per annum. companies that visit for placements are cipla, microsoft, unacademy and many more.

i disliked that the timing of university is 9:30am to 4:20 pm
they give more practical and works for home
they take more tests in only 1 semester only

i chose that course because i am nterested in computer science and i also do some language all teachers are performing good and they teach properly except itps mam and the difficulty level of paper is normal not hard they gives questions good

Chandigarh University: Benefits and Opportunities

Likes

Things which I liked are many events are held here everyday.
The students from all over India came to study here.
Many fests and hackathons are also held here.

Dislikes

Boys and girls are keep away in fests. There are barigates between them.
Students feels like they are in schools instead of college because of extra rules.
Uniform is compulsary on wednesday. Without uniform no attendance is given.

Placement Experience:

The placements are good. Almost every student who is capable got placed in good companies. The average package is 400000 pa. From 6th semester students are able to get placed. 80 percent of students got placement every year. Highest placement package is 54lpa. Many big companies like Microsoft, amazon, flipkart, daloit, linkedin, jp morgan, tcs, tech mahindra etc come every year. My plans after getting degree is to get placed first and then go for higher studies and also prepare for government exams.

The Chandigarh University

I liked the infrastructure of my college because it is very large.
My college also provides a good average placement of 8 LPA.
The professor are so kind and helping and teaches very good.

Dislikes

First thing the fees is so high which makes a lot of people unaffordable
The management of my college is also not good
There are some useless rules and regulations.

Placement Experience:

Placement is very good it has an average package of 8 LPA and highest package of 1.2CR. Companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, meesho and other companies as well they often visit our college. Recently, IBM came and gave a 13LPA offer to a guy.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
