The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

The lavish life of Chandigarh University

Likes

I liked the cooperative faculty members. And their flexibility with students.
The well established alumnis. And the guest lectures.
Their so many clubs and competitions which helps us to ineract more and more which develops very affluent skills of speaking.

Dislikes

The hectic schedule of the classes which tend to exhaust very much.
Kind of disliked the accommodation facility.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The guest lectures by judges and famous advocates inspires me more and more to be indulging in this course. There many competitions which set the live examples how in the real world it going to work and helps you out.

Experience at Chandigarh University

Likes

Things I liked the most about my university is that We get to learn about each and every culture and traditions of people belongs from other state. It is cultural diverse university.
Allow studdents to do internships in their final year of engineering
faculty motivate you to do projects and help it out to make some out[put of it.

Dislikes

There is too much pressure during exam time.
They allow students to do internships in final year but after so much of request
There is no placement in aerospace department

Likes

The environment here is the main reason that i am here its so graceful and attractive
The teachers here are very co-operative.
Boys to girl ratio is also moderate and all region students are here

Dislikes

The 75% attendance compulsory is very disgusting
International students are into drugs and tries to deal with Indians
Hostel mess food is very bad quality its very bad

CU is really the best choice if you are thinking to join

Likes

Coordination with professors is very good
Support of faculty is very good they clears your all dought within the class only
Hostel facility and mess food is really amazing

Dislikes

Collage gives assignment and practical more frequently

Although the university has a a crowd of more than 30K students so you have to face alot competition in the university but the placement rate is really very good and you definately get the placement if you are consistent towards your goal and hardworking

Chandigarh University - In & Out

Likes

Campus - Campus is very big and infrastructure is also good..Classes and labs are quite big.
Extra curricular activities- CU organize a lot of activities in which students can participate according to their interests.
Syllabus- Syllabus of a particular course is designed in sucha way that you get idea of what industry needed.

Dislikes

Teachers- Teachers are teaching subjects other than their main subject for which they don't have any knowledge.
Study material- They provide PPT's which is just copy paste from internet.
Attendence- 75% attendence was mandatory.

Placement Experience:

There were ample opportunities given to students but thats upto students how well they are performing in interviews. Around 50% students got placed during my time with avg ctc of 4.5 lpa. Companies like deloitte,pwc, edifecs, amazon, flipkart were visiting the campus.

Yes some aspects that needs to improve is hostel facilities.
The interaction between students and campus is very nice
The interaction between students and faculty were very nice and the sharing of thoughts also

According to me I like everything as per the situation and what's so ever heard for the university

Chandigarh University : real review

Likes

The intersection of Faculty members quit good. the faculty helps in acadmic to improve our skills.
The infrastructue of our college is very good.
The class room is fully air conditioner so you don't fee humid or hot.

Dislikes

there is very less unexpirenced teacher, in our collge
When its rain, entire college get flooded in it
the parking in our college is not to good to park 2-weeler

Placement of our college is very good there are around 800+ offer in this year. in 5th sem student eligble for college placement. microsoft, gtg,tcs,infosys,Josh tect, accenture, turbo hire, state streeet and more.

The Chandigarh University has a very vibrant culture
The infrastructure of university is very good but only CSE department is bad

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good due to its high demand but the strength of students is very much which makes it very difficult for any average student to seek placement and college starts at 9:30 and mostly ends at 4:20

'CU' - from Student's POV

Likes

Although there are many things and availabilities that I liked, starting with highly educated faculty members. Professors are quite helpful and engaging when it comes to assignments and projects. They explain the concept really well ad comprehensive.
Secondly, I liked the appropriate labs, chemicals and equipments which are available there for students to use, whereas in other colleges these additionals are provided just for show not for use.
Thirdly, I loved the campus life at CU, the campus is clean and green always. Several eateries are made available there, such as FR, Food Republic, It is one of the best place to spend time with friends, to have celebrations with good food available.

Dislikes

1. I think the point of increasing the fees is really upsetting as it were not so affordable before also. One needs to belong to more than average family to study here.
2. Some times, there is lack of chemicals and lab machines which are needed for biological experiments. So they should be provided timely.
3. Many times the hostel wardens are not enough educated and they are just given the jobs because of some references which in my view is not really good. Wardens must learn management and how to behave with students which is not upto the mark at CU.

Placement Experience:

Students doing BS Biotechnology are given placement chances from 5th semester when several companies arrives at the campus for placements. But salary packages are not great. Companies like Root analysis, IDS Infotech and Serum Institute of India visited the campus. Highest package offered to one student was 4.5 Lakhs and average package was between 2.5 to 3 Lakhs which also was only offered to 2 3 students, luckily I was one of them. My plans after my degree is to go for MBA and I am preparing for CAT Exam now.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
CU Students are placed in top-notch companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, IBM, Microsoft, Earnest Young, etc.
