The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Chandigarh university life

Likes

The faculty members are so dedicated and are fully informative
CU provides every student their own rights as separate department named DSW is there.
For entertainment purpose many fest are organised which enhances students mind

Dislikes

There are many students who are admitted every year in CSE
Average package is of 5-6 LPA which is not reliable
There should be transportation facility inside the college as there is huge walking distance

Placement Experience:

Placements are there every year. A accurate amount of companies visited CU offering great packages. If a student is developing great skills in coding and communication he/she can definitely crack a good package on campus in university premises

Reality of Chandigarh University

Likes

Events and fests- the quality of events and festivals in this university is amazing many bollywood singers and stars visit here
Big campus- size of campus is very vast lot of food resturants chain are opened inside the campus
Air conditioned classrom-ACs are available at every class which is most important in summer days many colleges is locality does not have this facility

Dislikes

Some courses are far from main campus-courses like BBA and BCA are far from the main campus this is a bad thing of students like us
The behaviour of HODS and teachers-they sometimes make you feel very bad beacuse of the language and their actions
Placements-placements are very less as actually claimed by the university half of the students did not gets placed

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are around 50-60% students with high cgpa are placed after the PI Average package of bba is around 3-4 lakhs If campus placement is not provided you can easily apply for companies in mohali and Chandigarh

This college is the best college

Likes

The college staff and the faculty hod's who always there for the students and they celebrate every fastival with students
This college is very reputed college and get the heightest placement
This college provide us the highest placement all companies

Dislikes

The watchman was harassed because we used to be late for college
There is no other activities are arranged like games

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall semester exams were conducted and the before exam teacher helps to complete the syllabus and after that exam were conducted but the best part teacher helps us to revise the syllabus according to the exam

Genuine review of Chandigarh University

Likes

Infrastructure is good and very huge and also very environment for girls and no ragging in the campus. Faculties are very good, very cooperative and helpful in studies and also in your personal problems.
Social life is also good there are so many students from different different states and also from another country. So many fest organised in the university like tech fests, culture fests, coding fests also.

Dislikes

Placements are not that up to the marks companies are coming but only 5-10% students get placed. Internship are also not good very less students got internships.
Management is not good they are so rude not cooperative and they say only maintain your 75% attendance. Curriculum is not that good because some extra non essential subject will be there.
And one thing more after 1 month MST will there than 1 month second MST will be there and and after 1 month End semester will there means in 4 -5 months your 1 semester will be completed.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement will be there, many Companies comes here for placements but only 5-10% students get placed, because there are roughly 6000 students in CSE only so placements are not so good. My plan is to doing my masters from abroad. Highest package is around 51-52 lpa and lowest package is around 3-4 lpa . Companies like Microsoft, IBM, AutoDesk, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys,TCS,Dell and many more are coming for placements.

Chandigarh University- May the best in private universities

I liked the campus of chandigarh university. It is very big and beautiful. It is fun to explore the campus
CU gives the change to avail the scholarship to every student
Fests and activities Weekly there are many fests and activities which gives student a chance to learn something else than study

Dislikes

My classes are on 7th floor and there no lift facility. So its very difficult to climb the stairs to 7th floor
75% attendance : you have to maintain 75% attendance otherwise you get detained in exams
Detaination fees is very high i.e something around 21000 which is very difficult to afford for a middle class student

Placement Experience:

Placements of CU is average. If you maintain around 8 CPG . Then you will get easily placed . If not then create linked in profile and list their your skills and courses which you pursued(courses will be given by CU of Coursera)

overcrowded with people and also their attendence policy is worse.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from 7th semester companies do come here but dont give good offers very less people gets the job or they offer very less number of people as there are soo soo many students applying for the same job.

The campus is huge and has a huge number of activities
The faculty is helpul and always present if the student eeda any guidance
The batch sizes are good enough so that the student gets particular attention

Dislikes

The hostels are a little outdated and worny
The food in the mess is repetitive and not very good
The heat of the campus and the absence of aur conditioning in class rooms

Placement Experience:

Placement ratio of the college is quite good providing with an average package of 37 lakhs per year with the highest package of 5600000 plastic the college placement for the kids have various options from multiple companies especially in my course

All you have to know about Chandigarh University

Likes

Campus life is good, the university infrastructure is really good.
There are faculty with corporate experience who give really good insights on job and placements
Many events happens that are really good for socialising and networking.

Dislikes

The management for rectifying one thing students have to go to different academic blocks to get it sorted which takes a lot of time.
Many problems for applying leaves specifically medical leaves.

Students become eligible for campus placements after the 5th semester.

As of now no companies have visited enough but three students of her batch have been placed for 3.75 lpa in an HR position role in a company.
Chandigarh University claims to have more than 90% of placements but I dont think that metric is true whether or less companies coming from batch loads in business administrations in Chandigarh University.

Why you should join Chandigarh University instead of Amity University.

Lecturers are disciplined and teach very well plus they provide study material to access and there is freedom to ask any doubts from them.
Laboratories are well maintained with all equipments necessary for biotechnology experiments whether i talk about genetic engineering lab, environmental technology lab, tissue culture lab, or any other lab. Lab assistants are well trained .
They focus more on soft skills that i feel is a plus factor as compared to other universities. We have classes of soft skills to polish our speaking skills. Honestly talking i really felt a lot difference in soft skills &overall personal development.

Dislikes

Some teachers do partiality on the basis of favouritism. I saw many teachers who give marks to their favorite students even if they write wrong answers in their exam answer sheets.
Classmates are very childish ,immature ,competitive in every aspect. Other than that academic aspect is good.
Libraries do not have much non academic books and this is a major thing that i don't like about my block's library. As it only have academic books to read and no books at all for personality development and other categories such as self help books.

Placement Experience:

During 5th semester you become eligible for campus placement drives, there are several companies that visits chandigarh university campus and you can fill forms for that on the basis of eligibility criteria they have and can appear for their drive that have steps such as test, GD, Personal interview. The average package in campus placements is 5 lakh Rs per annum. Highest package in Biotechnology department is around 12 lakh Rs per annum. Very few students opt for placement after graduation as most of the students plan to puruse a masters degree after that and several others were preparing for government exams. My plan after this degree is to pursue an Msc in biotechnology itself.

some faculty members should teach practical things more. although everything good in this university. but some times some faculty mem. miss lectures. exam occur annually. the exams aren't tough.read well nd u can clear all exams.

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
