The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

All about CU

Likes

The infrastructure of Chandigarh University is incredible.. which is most eye catching point of the university.
The modern facilities like libraries, laboratories, sport complexes and hostel all are mind-blowing .
Promote foreign exchange programme...promote extra curriculum.. maximum companies visit for placement

Dislikes

Crowd is really bad . large number of students
Attendance system is so strict..you have to maintain 75% attendance...you can monitor your attendance on cuims portal
Lack of coordination between departments..

Ok so for this i want to give my honest answer about my course.. I heard that cu grabs the highest package as compare to other universities...so many opportunities came for us for the placements.. You can apply job after completing of 2 semester in my course.. Fitelo Healtiviser lmt. Various clinics Etc so many I don't remember name. I want to do phd after degree most probably

Likes

The amount of companies visit the campus.
oppurtunites like hackthons,ieee clubs etc.
overall campus environment like views and specilly newly made buildings

Dislikes

The lms is really weak and backdated with its content.
some departments are not well equipted .

Placement Experience:

the amount of comapnies are good and the placemments seasons are good going .From 6th sem the students become eligible for there placements.copanies and startups above 500+ and offers are uptill now the highest has crossed 52.15lpa.

From Classrooms to Campus Life: What worked , What Didn't, and What to expect

Likes

Hostel are good according to my friends . Food provided in mess is also good.
Infrastructure of CU is just unbelievable and you will definitely like it.
Teachers are well trained and will be in support you if you are a good student.

Dislikes

Management of Cu is not that much good .
UIMS is not smooth as it get lags when no. of students visit it
Some departments are not well equipped .

Placement Experience:

I dont think so at this price point any other college is providing this type of placement . I am in my final year and till september approx 250 companies have visited CU for the recruitment process. I believe the count will increase and will be approx 1000 till the end of my academic year. The companies which visited are both mass recruiters and the companies with high package. College student can choose their career according to their ease.

Likes

The environment is very good because of the students here.
The teachers are very welcoming and friendly.
The architecture of the university is amazing.

Dislikes

The number of students in the course are in huge bulk.
The number of technical societies are less.
The ratio of girls to boys make huge difference

Placement Experience:

The university offeres good placement with top companies as well. They prepare the students for the companies placement drive. The aptitude and soft skills which is the top most requirement of every company for their first round.

Chandigarh University Review

Likes

The campus is clean and neat. Everything is organised
The department of student welfare is an excellent thing that I liked. They help thoroughly.
Also the faculty and the services provided are excellent.

Dislikes

The course fee is on the higher side which is not ideal.
The information provided sometimes also lacks detail and credibility.
The transitioning from school to college as a first year was rough the guidance was not very proper.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 4th year and sometimes in the 3rd year. There are the placement drives where students are allowed if they have the required cgpa or any other criteria . The college offers TPP program which helps in placement. The companies that visited for placements are more than 600.

Likes

The good thing about the college is the campus is large with open road connections, it connects to almost most of the blocks of the campus with 4-6 different gates, but at the same time it's far from main city that is Chandigarh.
Since I stayed at hostel it was alright but at the same the my academic block was too far so had to speed walk for 20min to reach class, but at the same time campus is green and has come Sade paths so it makes walking easy during the summer, another
I have never interacted much with my professors because I think alot and keep my thoughts to myself but during my first 2 years I found that out of 100% only 20% of my professors know how to teach

Dislikes

They keep calling parents for everything that feels unfit in their eyes, say u late for class, they'll call parents, say you didn't bring project, parents , didn't come to college -parents, they use parents like weapons
The classrooms need to be upgraded, their stools gives you back bains the, voice echoes alot during classes, they suddenly start talking in different dialogues, always gotta shift ones vibe just to understand from someother distorted mind
Since it's architecture they'll keep bombing us with assignments and stuff which it not much of a problem but the material needsed for it is a challenge as why does one need to spend more and waste more time and energy to gather the materials

Placement Experience:

Theres many placement for many different courses stating from 2.5laks to 2corers, but that does not mean it's from my department, placements are just connections of well reputed higher roles, now i consider myself to be already at a level where recommendation should fly out free from their hearts and not of RBI, now most who have not known will not know my ways but it's actually a healthy way since I stand neutral, but yeah you get good, your paid good, if I do get my degree I'll maybe do some small private business, maybe some charity building stuff some artworks, buy some land to build some experimental dreams

Distance Learning New Experience CU

All are good they offered real time projects like SWOT things and make us understand what exactly running in the marketplace. The exams are happened twice a year and it is in the online mode like sharing screen type

Chandigarh university gives an opportunity to you to success.

Likes

Atmosphere of the campus is too good to hang out with friends
We can interact with the faculties when ever there is need
Chandigarh university have a good placement service

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester you can apply for campus placements . Also CU provide a good opportunity for the students to get in real world, work life and many more. Highest placement package 120000 in our department. We have to do an internship for 6 months in our course as it is compulsory. After pursuing degree I would prefer to do job for getting more experience.

Likes

The campus has a large and beautiful Infrastructure
Provides support for career development on an individual level
Exposure to a vast array of opportunities based on our passion and skills

Dislikes

Immaculate amount of academic pressure on students
The campus is located somewhere on the outskirts of punjab and NO, it is not in chandigarh

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible to grab any internships or placement offers from their 6th semester by participating in events and hackathons either organized by the university or from outside. The companies start visiting by the end of 6th semester .But obviously the rate of placement depends on the quality skills that an individual possesses.

Chandigarh university merits and demerits

Likes

I like university placements system that they provide
I also like the campus they provide to students
I like the self confidence they make in the students by involving them in art and cultural events

Dislikes

I don’t like the gate closing after 9:30 as I come from 50 kms so I have to travel and they closes gate at 9 30
U have to charge for the e rickshaw roaming inside the university
In my take u don’t have to charge that fee for e rickshaw

Placement Experience:

I am from first semester and I am still introducing new things in the university so I don't know that much about the placements system in this university my plan is to become an entrepreneur after taking degree

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
