The faculty student ratio good learning experience good teaching and mentorship good good teachers and good environment knowledge so much in teachers good all are good very good so positive environment
I personally benefited from the "merit excellence scholarship" and also secured an on-campus job as a research assistant with a stipend, providing valuable financial support during my studies.
I am confident that i will be able to find a good job after graduation, thanks to the strong relationships that my university has with top companies.

Dislikes

The faculty is not that good. like the teacher i'm provided with are not that good
Scholarships they have this crazy deal there, if you get detained in 1st year in any subject, or reappear in any subject, your scholarship will be gone.
The placement of my college is growing but is not quite good right now

Big College Small thinking

Likes

The study culture in the college deep knowledge of every subject
Labs are well maintained in the college.
Campus is huge and very beautiful and faculties are also good

Dislikes

College doesn't provide any placement and jobs
Time management is not there in college.
Too much of assignments and projects and hectic schedule classes

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses in this course are not related to computer science or irrelevant teachers doesnot know how to teach and some teachers doesn't know how to behave the timings of the exams are also very bad

Likes

The infrastructure of college is fantastic,student wifi,ACs in each and every classroom.

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is very strict. 75% is compulsorily required in every subject.

Placement Experience:

College provide us training programs for placement.There'a a placement cell which make sure to prepare Student as per the latest trends and demands in the industry.Number of companies come to Chandigarh University for placements.

Mubarak ho aap CU mai hai

Likes

Infrastructure is quite good, they have huge campus area
Sports availability is also good you can join any of your choice
The best part they have domino’s inside the campus only

Dislikes

The teaching style is not up to the mark.
Less interactive students. Only you have to go and start a conversation no is coming to you first
You have to maintain 75% attendance which is quite difficult

You are eligible for placement after you 4th semester , They will also provide you noc if required for your placement, they actually dont have good companies I personally didn't went for placement because i have some other plans but some of my friends were there for placement, and from them I came to know that the companies are offering only 20-25 k month and on a remorte location, according to me which is not sufficient . Percentage of students got placements were around 50%. My plan after degree is that i am opting MBA because bcom hons is not such a huge degree that you will get good income from that only ,so if you want to boostup you career I suggest you must go for atleast MBA.

A freshies pov of university

There are a lot of opportunities on campus if you really wish to be pro active and have lots of extra-curriculars.
The campus is beautiful it is always clean.
There is special allocated vehicles to students because of large campus size making it easier for students to travel to and fro

Dislikes

During rainy season because of bad construction the roads are filled with water immediately
Medical leave system is not flexible it is only granted if it is more than three days but what if i got better in one day and dont wanna miss more classes.
Girls hostel closes gates at 8 while boys are given much more leniency which doesnt make sense to me as long as we are in campus we should be safe but why are we given more restriction as girls.

Placement Experience:

As this is my first semester i am not quite sure about placement culture in our university. Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, IBM, Earnest Young, Bank of America, Microsoft etc. were among the top recruiters at CU Campus Placements according to C.U official website. The highest salary package was secured by CSE-IBM Information Security student Siddhant Bhardwaj, who grabbed a huge salary package of $222600 (Rs 1.7 Crore) with a US-based company according to cuims website. Average package is 8 lpa according to shiksha.com 80-90% students placed according to shiksha.com I plan to go for higher studies abroad after my degree

Chandigarh University review

Likes

Infrastructure is very good and well maintained.
College is very clean and there are many parks to walk in the Evening.
There are always some events going on in the college.

Dislikes

Attendance system is very strict and have to maintain 75% attendance.
Some subjects are not necessary but effect our cgpa.
There 8s no screening process during the time of admission.

Placement Experience:

Placements starts from sixth semester. Students are free to register as per company eligibility criterion. Companies like Amazon, jp Morgan, Flipkart, dbs, Watchguard, and many more comes for recruitment. From 7th semester on an average we get atleast one company per day.

Online College Life

Likes

The content provided by the University is good . They provide overall a good knowledge of each topics and subjects .
The student support system is also very appreciable. They solve instant student's queries and do help them .
Facilities also teach in a good way . They try there best to make student learn from the content

Dislikes

There's a lot of scam regarding referral code so one has to be stay alert
They don't stand up to there words. They mentioned they'll be providing scholarships for students but they didn't

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects that I consider while choosing this university were there interaction and there aim for student's career . Thought of giving it a try and to my amaze the courses are good and you get a variety of specialisation to choose from plus some perks from University like regular seminars and Harvard certificates . You get enough time between two semesters to prepare well so need to hustle around

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of the building and architecture
Good exposure as different students from different states from here
Very beautiful landscape as it is very vast university

Dislikes

As the university is very vast roaming around becomes very exhausting
There is very vast competition for placement
Most of the air conditioners in classroom doesn’t work

Placement Experience:

Students of 4th year gets placement from 7th semester and students of 3rd year gets placement from 5th semester my plans after my degree is going to abroad to complete my masters and enhance my skills

Honest review about Chandigarh university

Likes

There campus infrastructure is very good for students
There are always events happening in the college so you could enjoy in every manner
They always encourage you to do research work. They have very good infrastructure to help with it

Dislikes

The attendance criteria is so bad that you have to pay off hefty amount of 10000 post subject to clear your backlogs if your get detained due to attendance shortage
The teachers are not well qualified upto the standard thirsty are required to teach btech students
They will irritate you and do things to suffer you off you have to get any document signed by authorities. You have to roam around the college to get your work done

Placement Experience:

The placement are good, you will see many companies visit the campus such as Amazon Google Wipro TCS connivance Accenture Deloitte and many more. The main baad thing is their placements is that if you get a offer from any company irrespective of package then you have to accept and there is no option to deny the offer aane of you don't join then you will get debated from placement process.

College infrastrcucture is well maintained
Faculty members are very cooperative with students
College placement make me proud of my college

College management is not that much good
Attendance criteria of 75% is mostly disliked by me

Placement Experience:

I was eligible for campus placement in 6th semester . and their are various companies which visited CU like MUSigma , SAP solutions , Onebanq , hiremi etc. Average package is 8 LPA and highest is 45 LPA CU claims 100% placement for the student acquiring their speacial classes which are TPP classes and CU charge extra 9000 for it My plan after degree is to work in a reputed MNC

CU teaching syllabus or survival?

Likes

Engagement and collaboration with companies are pretty impressive
Social engagement is very poor and information is late received regarding events, regional groups are preferred than that of social engagement
Classrooms are average compartive to the amount we are paying, basic necessities like AC are not provided needs a lot of infrastructure growth , libraries are very poor and are more like common sitting hall , books are not resourse full

Dislikes

Attendance criteria and unnecessarily strict detention criteria and charging money
Social engagement, positive male female interaction
Unnecessary fees charging over backlogs, detention, attendance etc

Course Curriculum Overview:

Syllabus is quite updated and is as per the needed time but in basic level it needs to be much more skill based for the corporate world ahead, teaching methods are poor also exams are conducted on theory based mostly and practical knowledge and experience is much needed, there are 2 MST's conducted ( mid sem test ) along with Lab MST and one final end sem exam (EST)+LAB EST

In my opinion, Chandigarh University is superior to other universities for the following reasons:

Chandigarh University is recognized by UGC and AICTE. It is among India's top 5% institutions with NAAC A+ ratings. It holds the membership of ICAR, IAU, ACU, IEEE, ASME, ACS, and IUCEE. Further, BCI, AIU, PCI, COA, NCTE, CSI & NCHMCT approve the university.
A total of 200 courses are offered at Chandigarh University with unbeatable ROI.
Apart from CUCET, the university also offers admission based on national-level entrance examination scores like JEE-Mains, NATA, CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT etc.
The university also offers open & distance learning through CUIDOL and online courses.
As per the latest placement statistics, Chandigarh University Highest International Package stands at INR 1.7 CPA seized by a B.Tech CSE-IBM Information Security student with a US-based company whereas the highest national package stood at INR 54.75 LPA.
