- The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
- Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
- The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.
Dislikes
- No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
- Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
- 5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

- They have a great infrastructure. Besides this, they have good mangement and faculty.
- I got placed from my college and the package was quite decent. So overall placement was good at my time.
- I used to live in hostels. So hostels are very neat and clear. They also have a table tennis, microwave, refrigerator and many more. Besides this they have a small garden for every hostels.

- They are increasing their batch sizes every year. So it make the college crowded. At my time, there was around 1500 students in my batch. Although
Placement Experience:
I didn't had any complaints regarding the placement of my college as I got placed on the decent package. At my time, around 70-80% students were placed successfully. At the starting of placement time, many big companies came like Bajaj, Gojek, MAF,Whatflix etc.

- The infrastructure is really great! Every department has its own building and its own library!
- Their is also a building named square 1 which is basically the canteen that contains all the best food outlets like Domino's Pizza,lapinoz pizza,subway,Barista,etc
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are good in the college! If the student has the skills required for the job the person will 100% get placed. Various companies come for placements in the college example being Google,Microsoft, service now, etc.

- There are a lot of clubs in the university to choose from.
- The course curriculum is regularly updated and also changes almost every year.
- The infrastructure of the campus is well built and maintained.
Dislikes
- There are restrictions on when you can go out of the college.
- Some blocks are very well built but the older ones aren’t.
- The number of students is very large in the university.
Placement Experience:
The companies start coming in the starting of the 6th semesters for providing summer internships or a longer one also which depends on the company. I had head that the placements were good here and this was also a reason to choose it.

- The faculty's is this university are good . There are trainers from some education companies like my anotome , hitbullseye which teach students coding subject and some core subjects usefull in the industry level.
- The infrastructure is very good . There are every facilities available like A.C. Classrooms , Charging plugs and big hostels.
- The college is very famous due to its high placement percentage . And our chancellor Dr. Ashok Chitkara sir is very engaged towards our placements .
Dislikes
- I dislike the attendance system . As some teachers cut attendance if they find students using phones etc. items .Which i don't like i we are now in college and we prefer more self study .
- I also dislike the course curriculam as curriculam is not according to present industry trends .
- I also dislike its sports equipments provided as they are always some broken .
Placement Experience:
Placements are about 85%. Students are eligible from 6th semester . But sometimes in 5th semester some students got intership from big companies like microsoft , google . Highest package till is 450000 and average package is about 800000.
Companies comes till 8th semester . If i get the job then i will do it and try to fulfill my dream of opening a software based company .

- Companies recruitment is high. They take many of the students to their for training and intership.

- Teaching old matehmatics, electronics and co.puter applications which are no of use in today technologies.
- Attendace criteria is very bad crirter for students.
Placement Experience:
From 7 semester the stude ts are become eligible for intership only if and only if their cgpa is above 8 or 8. Ibm infosys,quark, Adobe ,sapient, quick heal. No. Of offers are not available in the site. Highest is 60 lakh and lowest is 2 lakhs. Percentage of student ts getting placed are 60 percent.

- the tuition fees is to high , which might be difficult for some student to afford.
- The ratio of boy and girls are very unbalanced (around 5:1 ratio).
- The university has a strict attendance policy which means students must attend a 75% of classes to give exams.
Course Curriculum Overview:
the course curriculum is good . It combimes theorys with praciticals projects and internships. There are rooms for students to improve their soft skills. Exams are not soo difficult, student mange to pass the exams.

From 6th sem students actual placements critieria started . Elitmus etc. type of exams started but intership in big companies like microsoft , google come in 5 th sem. But they choose only 1 person . Many companies visited in this university with average package of 7-8 lakhs . Mostly 80% students get placed. Highest package till is 45 lakhs . If i get placed then ok going with them but if not places then i will go abroad

The companies like Amazon,Wipro, Microsoft, Infosys HCL, TCS and other MNCs visit this campus for recruitment. The top roles offered for our course are SDE, QA/TIET, Frontend engineer/developer, full stack etc

- Campus size is a little small but they are expanding it

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.
- ACADEMICS
The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.
- PLACEMENTS
Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.
There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.
- FEES & ACCOMMODATION
Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.
- CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP
There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
