The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Interships and placements

Likes

The campus is very big and always neat and clean
The faulty is great and always provides you with a solution
All the sports are promoted, as i like to play badminton its worty for me to be there

Dislikes

There are alot of students in the campus
As heard from the hostlers the mess food is not so good quality
The farewells are not so interesting for me

The placement rate is very good in Chitkara University, various companies like google, amazon and 40-50 other visited in the past years. The average package offered here is around 5LPA and the highest is around 40LPA. There is 100% placements in Chitkara University. My plans are to get job experience and then run my own business

A gateway to career growth at chitkara University

I like the environment where the teachers teach the students.
There are lot of opportunities offered by chitkara such as various hackathons, events ,fest and seminars by famous personalities.
Teachers are very cooperative, they listen to you and they made a every other department to sort any kind of problems of students.

Placement Experience:

In 3rd year you are eligible to apply for internships it's totally dependent upon you how you can get the off campus placement but the real placement starts in 4th year where you get the chance to sit in front of lot of companies. A lot of good companies visits during the placement period Avg package is around 5-6 lpa and the highest package is around 45 lpa 60 percent students are placed during the placement totally dependent upon you skills.

Chitkara - the campus freshy

Likes

I liked the infrastructure here as it is quite well
There is a variety of space to hangin with freinds in free time
There is a variety of food to eat here from chips to italian food

Dislikes

The size of campus is 70 acres including hostel so there is too much rush during break
The strictness is too much here as u can’t enter without id
I think uniform is also a con for me here

As i researched the placements in chitkara of cse students are quite good as i also reached students on ground level they said that they got placement offer in tge starting of 4th year. Also the avg package is around 8-9lpa which i think is quite good for starting.

Good in infrastructure,there is each type of food south food ,Punjabi food
Good placement are the teachers are very friendly nature
There is every type of games for play cricket badminton

Dislikes

We need gate pass for going out of the college restrictions
Are there we not go outside in the college after 9 :00 Pm
Average Placement are very much less around 3-4 lacs

Placement are good but there is less package around 3-4 lacs average package around 80 percent student are placed but hardly 10 percent student package is above 10 lacs mostly package are around 3-4 lacs per annum

College is good atmosphere is also good.
The hostel facility is also nice mess food also good.

Dislikes

Hostel for boys is very strict according rules.
Sometimes the mess up mess food and give u that shit like food.

Placement Experience:

On campus placements are good. About 70-80% students gets places from campus and also gets decent package. Students become eligible and also hets placements from 3rd semester. The average package a student get is about 3 - 6. Lac/annum.

Likes

Many opportunities in the university are there
Sports area is really good neat and clean
Placements offered according to the fees is genuine

Dislikes

Washrooms are a negative mark of the university
Bus service should be improved buses not much comfortable

Placements of chitkara university is good there is a 7lakh-8 lakh average package per annum for the computer science engineering more than 200 companies visites here amazon offers really good packages here even 50-60 lakhs per annum

Life at college

Likes

The campus is really beautiful and has professors with phd degreee so the professors are good ..
They send facululties from many companies that teach very well and provude us with the courses
Business analytics course is really professional and has demand in companies

Dislikes

Some teachers take the things lightly and donot teach well
Ratio of boys is more than girls and also there is very strict rules
They have so many holidays between the course and this seems to be lightly

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bachelor of busuness admisnistration in business analytics has a great demand in the marker and companiess.... this course helps in using statistical tools and also teaches gow to analyse the market and company

Likes

The classes of our university is very good.
Their is anti-ragging policy in our university.
The teachers are also well educated,and more of them are from it sectors.

Dislikes

The girls is to boys ratio is not good at all.
Their are less events for day scholars.Mor for hostllers.
In some semester you have to maintain mire then 80 per attendance.

Hello. The placement rate of cse enginerring from last year is more then seventy percent students will placed.Top recuiters are hcl,infosys,tcs,eclerx and more.From sixth semester you are eligible to sit in company round.

This university provides large exposure of culture diversity.
Many clubs are formed by this university to enhance the social life of students.
The happening campus and the greenery which is present around the campus.

Dislikes

The hostel is too overrated and it's fees is also high.
Strict rules for uniform and many other stuff
Average rate of placement is low in this university

In our course curriculum the students become eligible after the 8 semester completed for the placements .many hospitals like max ,Fortis Paras hospital, manipal hospital with the average package of 20000 arrived for the placements. The highest package was offered by Fortis hospital at least 70 percent students get the placement. My plan is to join any of the hospital to enhance my nursing skills and knowledge.

Every college has its own speciality as well as cons.

Likes

Cooperating staff which helped me in choosing how to proceed further and what to opt and even how to start.
Infrastructure is good and students can roam around for mental peace
Sports facilities are very good , all the sports are there which is kind of necessity for today's generation

Dislikes

Too much restriction, students cannot go out on their own .
Too many extra curriculum courses which are not necessary they just want the submission whether student cheat or not that doesn't matter they just provide the online courses which pressurises the students.
Students cannot bring any eatables inside like order something from outside though inside cafes are expensive, not always so good. Zomato and swiggy aren't even allowed in campus and any food is not allowed in hostel whether student in hungry at nyt.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is very good . Most of the students gets placement offers around their 3rd year and they can appear for different interviews and can get placed based on their skills . They became eligible for placements around 5-6 th semester. According to me 70-80 percent of hard working students get placed via campus.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
The Chitkara University in a nutshell is a good option provided the individual is satisfied with the details.
