The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

I really like my ECE department as it provide many facilities to enhance your skills
Also like campus view which is very beautiful and in night it is charming
I also like sports facilities University really do very much things for sports.

Dislikes

Even if you go for 30 min they will call your parents.
You cannot eat the food in Hostel from which has been taken from campus cantine

University provide placements for every branch. Various companies come for the mass recruitments as well as individuals also. But i totally depends upon you how much you work yourself to be placed. For ECE branch there is an average of 8-10 LPA and for cse it is nearly 7-9 LPA

Campus life id so good its have a lot of fun activity

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course currivulum is good its all on the basis of the study stuff you need. there are also many extra courses form coursera and coding ninjas for better practice and to learn more. Teachers are very good they teach you like a family member Almost after 1 and half month after university conduct exams monthly exams are easy end terms are difficult.

In 6 or 7th semester companies came to choose students for placements. wipro, Microsoft, Cisco. A minimum of 6cgp is valid to sit in placements. The highest package is 42 lakh. Average package 5 or 6 lakhs.60 percent may get their placements.No plans after the degree.

Campus life is quite good and relaxed and stress free
Has the best lecturers and proffesors for are best future
Has a quite big chilling spot with name of sportitorium

Dislikes

Quite conjusted and heavily filled with students everywhwrw
Not much space to sit during free lecture
Many in campus ameneites are quite expensive

Students in chitkara university start to get internship oppurtunites from 5 th semester and also company start coming from this particular semester Many good companys company comes.My plan after graduation is to appear for placement

campus is vibrant and environment is very cool
good faculty members and which provides good guidance about future

Dislikes

gates of university opens only after 3:30 pm not before
there are strict attendance criteria you get detained once attendance is less.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the aspects of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is that there were practical subjects also like pcat which was related to computer hardware and installations of component of a computer.by the use of practicality of these curriculum a student get ready for the real world situations. the area to improve is to involve more student interactive curriculum not a theory based .difficulty of exams are moderate and easily passable

The sports area which include both indoor and outdoor sporta

Dislikes

Not much space available for seating while free lectures
The timing to leave campus is 3:30 and not flexible

The students become eligible from 5 semester for placement Google and Vipro and package were around 12-20 lacs Highest package are of Google and but more are the average packages offered 80%-90% get placement Getting placement from the campus

I loved infrastructure of chitkara university which comprises of many technological equipments
i like events happended in chitkara university such as pitaara
i like go global option in chitkara which allows student for foriegn exchange

Dislikes

Attendance criteria for the students you need to maintain 75% strictly
You need to wear uniform always in the campus
Due to Small size of campus there is a huge rush

from 6 semester student can sit in campus placements around 300+ companies visited which includes many reputed firms 35.5 lakh on campus and 1.2 cr off campus 95% students usually gets the placement i will go for on campus placement

After the 6th sem students can apply for job Around 200+ different companies visit the campus Highest = 35.5 lakh on campus 1.1 cr of campus 96% students get placed here My plans after getting degree is to have a job of data scientist

Things I liked in chitkara are infrastructure. It's very good. Buildings are very well built
Second thing is opportunity. There are many opportunities in college for coding , sports etc
Third thing I like is placement opportunities. Many companies visited chitkara for the ppos and placement offers

Dislikes

Mess food is very bad. Quality is worst.
Attendance criteria I didn't like in the university
Exams will appear after a short span of time

From the end of 5th semester companies started coming in University Infosys, tata, many offers were made by the companies Highest package was last year it was an international offer which is of 1.1 crore and lowest package is 6LPA Good percentage of placements Getting a good job

Its infrastructure is very good which fascinated me
The study environment is very good. Good minds colla
Placements are very good. One of the main reason to choose chitkara was because of its placements

Dislikes

Small campus, Area is quite very small here
Attendance to be maintained else you will be detained
Strict teachers here so you have to focus on their subjects as well

They are very much focused on what to teach There are many events take place here regularly They are good in what they are teaching but the class timings must be 50 minutes max instead of 1:30 hr The difficulty level is Ok but their frequency is too high

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
