The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Chitkara University - A heaven for study

Likes

I like the campus life. With so much things to do, none can get bored here.
The sports facilities. With a big gym and a huge badminton court, students are always engaged in physical activities.
The course curriculum and methods of teaching allows for an grasp of concept.

Dislikes

I dislike the fact that hostellers are not allowed to keep a vehicle.

Placement Experience:

The placements start from the 6th/7th semester. Many big tech companies like Flipkart, amazon, and google bajaj visit the campus. The placement rate is high and students get a good jobs. The offers made the previous year were around 9-11 LPA. The highest package went was nearly 1 crore. The placement rate is about 90% which is very good. I plan to get a job and start studying for my MBA.

Talking about the infrastructure, then you just come visit this college once and you gonna love it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

At first the college began in online mode due to covid lockdown and their online was quite good. The faculty has a professional experience pf teaching students even in online medium and when we went offline to the campus we had a great interaction with the faculty members and they are too good in teaching offline also.

I liked the campus, it's pretty clean and well maintained.
Placements are good here if you are even a little above average student
Sports is promoted, tournaments keeps going on

Dislikes

Disliked the hostel mess food, it's not changed for 2-3 months
The hostel rooms are too small in comparison to the fees
We can't go out of hostel without warden permission, and on weekdays it's a more long process as we have to take permission of mentor too

Placement Experience:

Yes companies do visit often and students get placed, it's 100% placement for those who have 7.5+ cgpa, the highest package I know is around 24-26 LPA and the lowest is I guess around 2-3 lpa in mass recruitment.

Hostel facility, campus life is too good to explore

Nothing much but some classes donot have AC
Otherwise everything is fine with college Enjoying

The college provides placement to the students As there are 100 per cent placements Most of the companies across India visit colleges for placement Students from 6 semesters are eligible for placements companies like Google, Microsoft, adobe, whirlpool, Infosys, paytm many others A highest package like 35-40 LPA in ADOBE The average package is like 6-7 LPA Approx 98-99 per cent of students got placed After degree obviously I try for good placement whether it would be possible through college either off campus

Sports Facilities are very good.Many Tournaments are organised
Faculty is well qualified. Every professor has proper knowledge of his/her course.

Dislikes

University is overcrowded as number of students is more than neede.

Placement Experience:

At Chitkara University, almost every student gets placed ranging with packages from 3-5 lakhs. There are only a few students who grab a higher package. The highest package offered in 2022 is 53 lakhs. Companies visiting the campus are google, Microsoft, Wipro, adobe, etc.

Life at Chitkara University

Likes

The Fest was great very great it provided so much exposure and meeting opportunities.
The transport facility is good and reliable.
The faculty is amazing they provide great knowledge

Dislikes

Their are always flaws to a thing and their are minor downsides but they can be ignored and fixed.
Moreover for me their is nothing i particularly dislike about the college
The college has got it reasons sometimes to do certain things but its for students

Placement Experience:

For 3 years students are allowed to sit for interviews. So many companies arrive at Chitkara University including Google, Microsoft, Accenture etc. The highest package receieved was 1 cr+ and the average package is 7-8 lakh 100% I plan pursue my master at Chitkara University

From 3rd year, Students get eligible for Campus placement. Almost all students are placed with an Average package of 7.5 lakhs per year. The highest package is 1.15 crore on Amazon. Almost all companies visited here for recruiting.

Likes

The infrastructure at chitkara is very well maintained.
Chitkara looks at active involvement of students into multiple activities.
Chitkara organises several events for the students for their wholesome development.

Dislikes

Chitkara does not give its student much freedom.
The students are not allowed to go out of the campus as and when wanted.
There is no gender neutrality, female hostelliers have more strict rules.

7th-semester students become eligible for placement. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Adobe, etc. have come to campus and has made offers worth 45 lacs per annum. 45 las per annum is the highest offer made on the campus. 75 percent of students get placed. My plan is to place after getting a degree.

Multiple sports ground for sports enthusiasts.
There are plenty of fest and events to enjoy college life.

Dislikes

College does not work on communication skills.
Warden of our hostel is not understanding
The quality of food is not that good. Variety is ok.

Top recruiting companies like clear trip, amazon, TCS, WNS, Infosys, MakeMyTrip, Wipro, SAP, OYO, PAYPAL, etc..visit our college for placements. Our college invites many companies, but don't do good work in improving communication skills.

Dean,Faculty and facility were the best thing about CSMC and then fests - oppurtunities of participating in inter media fests.
environment- there is the positivity around to grow and make our vision creative which motivates one to enhance the skills
Assigmnets - gave me chance to push my limits to enter the world as the media person and Take the interviews or shoot

In 2018 the infrastructure was little off but now in 2023 it has changed compeletely

Placement Experience:

After the 5th sem in graduation, students are eligible for campus placements. Companies visited in csmc were news18 group, zee tv, and new laundry made approx 20 internships and a few jobs within the class. In Mass Communication Highest package goes along with the skill rate of the students. Approx 99% of students get placed. My plan after getting the UG degree is to proceed with a master's.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
