- The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
- Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
- The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.
Dislikes
- No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
- Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
- 5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Frequency of exams is average.
The level of exams is quite good.
Much improvement is needed in management and timetable as not much breaks after classes are given.
Day is quite hectic.
They keep the students engaged in random necessary stuff

- I felt everything is nice I don't think so this college need some improvement
- I like campus infrastructure the well furnished design
- I like the faculty member they are so helpful in nature and helping aunties and security is also nice with us
Dislikes
- I don't dislike anything here it is such a nice campus
- The rule and regulation is too muchhhhhh
- Too much of fees or extra amount is taken in the name of supply paper

I was not able to clear my mbbs exam so I choose this degree and I guess this degree is also nice it's not paramedical it's come under allied health course
This course take 3 time sts and 1 final exam in ever 6 month

- The college has a enjoyable campus and nightlife. The quality of social interaction is decent. You will surely enjoy the campus life and the aesthetics of the college.
- The quality of education is good and the faulty members are well educated and helpful. The mentorship quality is great, the mentors will always help you when you need help.
- Infrastructure of the college is amazing and even the classrooms and buildings are clean and perfectly ventilated.
Dislikes
- Mess food can be improved as the quality of mess food is decent. The variety of the food can also be increased.
- The quality of education can also be improved. The teaching methods can be made more practical with a little less focus on theory.
- More focus on making the students industry ready should be there.
Placement Experience:
From third year students become eligible for internships and in the final year they are eligible for campus placements. The top companies that visit the campus are Infosys, Amazon, HP, Infotech, Wipro etc. The highest package offered in my course was 32LPA with average being 8LPA. Percentage of the students getting placed is 80%. My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placements and after that opt for higher studies.

- The crowd there is very unserious and disgusting
- The attendance system is very strict and rigid
- Lots of free time in between lectures and mass bunks

- First thing that I liked is that the university is fully neat and clean. There is no clutter anywhere. The washrooms, the campus everything is neat and clean.
- Talking about the faculty, it is also okay as whereever we go there are good people and bad people. But the number of good people here are more as compared to the ones who do not corporate.
- Then the classes they are properly scheduled. There is no confusion in the class timings.
Dislikes
- The wifi quality is not good. It keeps on lagging which is not good.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since I am pursuing Computer science with Artificial Intelligence. So the course also teaches us about how AI is evolving in the world and what it will be doing in the upcoming years.
I don't feel right now that there is any area of improvement.
I just want that faculty should give one on one attention. That's what I feel.

- The first thing i liked is the way of teaching our lecturers as they help each and every student personally
- Second would be the hostel faculty as they have the best hostel near any other university or college
- The sports faculty is also very very good they support almost every sport
Dislikes
- fees is like too much more than any other college nearby
- classes are way too long as it become much difficult for students to sit for soo long
- They do not allow every student to do swimming as it is only opened for the marine students

as AI is the most powerful and emerging category than any other type of course and also there will less crowd in this field so one can easily get good packages and reputation after choosing this course

- The things that i like most in this university is that its hostel. hostel facility is quite good and food is also good . The hostel staff is also good
- management is also quite good . university is well maintained and playgrounds are also good and well maintained.
- sports and clubs facilities are amazing and impressive.

- teachers are are not good and study is also not good.
- behaviour of security guards is also not good.
- range of students is very high so placements is not easy.
Placement Experience:
from fourth semester students are ready to get placements and internships . companies like microsoft and google are come in this collage and average package offer by them is about 12 lacks per annum which is quite good

- Different sports complex are there to appreciate sports.
- The environment is very beautiful. There are different species of plants.
- The crowd was so busy and corporative to each other.

- There are no such things which I dislike.
- But the gaurds are so strict with the students.
- The guards are not corporative with the students

The courses so relevant and it provide very useful insights in the real world scenarios. Also, it helped me to solve the real world problem and get a idea of them. I get an idea what is happpening in the real world and how to solve them using different modules and subjects..

- The area is small.so there is so much rush all time.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for college placements.
90% students get placed from campus placements.
The highest package is about to 1cr and their average package is about 6 lacks.
Tere are many companies like as Microsoft,tcs, wipro....etc are came and get offered for placement.
I want to continue my study after this degree.

- The infrastructure of the college is very good, it is well maintained and beautiful. The library is maintained very well and we can get any book issued from library when we need.
- There are lot of events that happens around in every sem. If i say in a week almost 3-4 days there are events in college (by clubs), we can participate in it.
- The availability of free WI-Fi is what is like the most.
Dislikes
- The teachers are not that good, and the teaching quality is not top notch.
- The cost of eatables is very high in the food court of the college named "Square One" and also in other outlets in the college.
- The lifts of some blocks is not good and safe, they stuck in between and many times students have to jump out of the half opened lift. But it is limited to 2-3 blocks only.
Placement Experience:
As i am a student of 2nd sem, i didn't know much about the placement thing, but i have heard some some from my seniors, that in 3rd Year (6th Sem) the companies come to take the interns and in 7th or 8th sem the companies come for placement.
There is no fixed percentage of students getting placed, in such a crowded area like chitkara, it wholy solly depends on the skills of an individiual.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.
- ACADEMICS
The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.
- PLACEMENTS
Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.
There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.
- FEES & ACCOMMODATION
Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.
- CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP
There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
The Chitkara University in a nutshell is a good option provided the individual is satisfied with the details.
