The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Nice University

Remarks:

overall this College is really nice but their are many things which can be taken care of like teachers need to be more friendly. i dont think. Sports is really nice their i used to play cricket, basketball, and table tennis.

My experience during college period

Remarks:

Positive remarks is good infrastructure provide good facilities for hostel students. High security to hostellers.Negtative point is they must provide scholarships to students based on their performances.

Positive - placements are very good as more than 90% of the students get placed every year. A lot of company come to the campus for placements.Negitive - count of students are very large.Every year more than 1000 students take admission.

All over my college is good.As a hosteller, In my college there is an issue of gate pass i.e if you want to go outside from my college you have to apply for gatepass and then your warden in non-working hours and your mentor in working hours will approve it.

Great Infrastructure with Excellent Placements Records!

Remarks:

As mentioned above, fees could look expensive to much of the families but placements and other facilities provide by college would defenitly make you think to make your students study in the college as the Placement records of the college has always been good. This might be the best University in North India for the Students not getting good enough in JEE.

It was a very good experience

Remarks:

I think they should focus more on data structures and algorithms and more logical thinking for students as these are very important in industry for switching or joining other companies they should focus on the technologies that are used in the industry.

How's the life in chitkara university

Remarks:

The college is best in many things such as infrastructure,faculty and has a peace environment but of we talk about the fees, it's expensive as compared to all other collegees in chandigarh for batchelor of engineering.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
The Chitkara University in a nutshell is a good option provided the individual is satisfied with the details.
