The placements in a college quite good because i would say like they were a lot of companies that was coming to our college like this.
Teacher at chitkara are best they help u in every aspect they help you in research and also in projects
The college also provides scholarships for scheduled castes and other backward classes even if you perform well in academics then you will definitely be awarded, which can be in any way.

Dislikes

No scholarships are provided in this university for any of the stream here..... which is not good they should provied us with some good scholarship according to percentage.
Fans , washrooms , windows , balcony , study table , beds , almirah food quality is very bad, health of students sometimes get deteriorated after eating their mess food through hostel site we did registration process and payments rajpura
5th semester im in 4th semester so dont know anything about placements from real experience but heard stuff so dont know if that works but till now everyone's just sad and scared if they'll get placements.

Awesome college, terrible senior management

Remarks:

The infrastructure of the college is very good, there is a big food court and a good variety of food option is available for hostlers and day scholars. Other than this, placement is very good at this college. They will try to place every student.

Awesome college ruined by greed and lazy staff

Remarks:

Overall look and environment of the college is very nice. Beware of the staff, some teachers are very good but top most people are very rude and lazy. They won't help you at all untill it gives them.any advantage. They will lure you in things and scare you for placement related things to get you in into extra courses but that will not help you in anything.

Remarks:

The college is good but the main issue is of attendance, so don't argue with any teacher otherwise you may get in trouble. The good thing about the college is that it has a dress code which is a black or maroon t-shirt for B.E. students so you don't have to choose everyday what to wear for college.

Overall i will rate my college 8out of 10 it have great ambeince great faculty but they have a bit stirct rules like no outing for the hostelers not in between college leave and they have a strict rules for wesring an uniform.

College is all time awesome. All remarks from me are on positive side if every thing about chitkara university is best. Campus infrastructure hostel facility. But personally I dont like thier mess facility.

One of the best in North India

Remarks:

Most of the remarks are positive about my college. Negative remarks I would like to mention also is about Pharmacy faculty. They are not adjusting with the students. Rest college infrastructure, studies, exposure etc everything is good.

Chitkara University popularly known as CU can be reviewed on a set of parameters. The parameters range from academics to infrastructure and focus most importantly on placements provided in the last educational year.

ACADEMICS

The university stands at a desirable position when it comes to academics. It caters to 13000 students. The student-faculty ratio is 1:6. Engineering is the best option as students not having an above-average JEE score can also land up at a good stream in the university. The university has reputed international collaborations with leading institutes across the globe. Some institutes are University Of Florida, U.S.A, Deakin University, Australia, etc.

PLACEMENTS

Placements have been quite good in recent year in all the domains of the university, but engineering has been the major attractive domain. The percentage-wise division of placements is mentioned below:

There have been around more than 500 recruiters with 50 international offers. The highest package stands around Rs.31 LPA whereas the average is about Rs. 6 LPA. A number of startups were also being encouraged.

There have been more than 150 offers, which cater to the range above Rs. 10 LPA. The major recruiters are Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Amazon, IBM, Quick Heal, Bank of America, etc. Mechanical and civil engineering students also got offers from top players like JCB, Renault-Nissan, DLF, Lafarge, etc.

FEES & ACCOMMODATION

Being a private university; CU charges a reasonable amount. The most preferred course B.E., a 4-year course stands around Rs. 7 lakh (accommodation included). The accommodation facilities are up to the mark with all proper resources.

CAMPUS LIFE & SCHOLARSHIP

There is no such scholarship provided by the university, but it offers scholarships to achievers that scored good positions in JEE mains. Campus life is great offering good opportunities to explore the state and its culture.
