Students are not very serious for studies
Placement and internship programmes are not upto the mark
Course Curriculum Overview:
Bsc economics is a good degree..it opens doors to the various areas and fields..the subjects covered in the degree are (complete science, economics, maths/QT/ English )it offers a good variety of subjects to study
The faculties are well qualified and friendly, they always give their best to support the students in various ways and on an average the class strength remains around 40 and overall facilities deliver good teaching experience .
Before semester exams MST exams are conducted (40 marks) approx before a month or two the main semester exams and it's quite easy to pass if you're attending classes frequently
Hostel life with friends which includes last night studies with full masti .
Cultural Intra-University as well as inter- colleges fests
Dislikes
Overstrictness in some cases like entry and eit timings in hostel
Mess food not at all good most of the times
Not much awareness regarding Campus selections
Course Curriculum Overview:
I have a good command on chemistry as a subject that's why I chose it as major subject. Faculty: Student=1:10 in GNDU. Every professor there is PhD cleared CSIR NET and proficient in teaching. Chemistry department in GNDU is considered as one of the best departments because of its dedicated teachers and their appreciable research work. Here, exams held on time as per the schedule with proper strictness and level of exams was moderate to difficult level.
Things i liked was the faculty they are very helpful
A lot of sport activities are provided in college
Dislikes
There are no societies in the college which is a disappointment
The crowd is not very competitive as well
Placement Experience:
Students of 2nd year are eligible for the placements
Not many companies but only local companies come for internships and placements
Highest package given in of 12,00,000 per year and
Minimum is 3,00,000 per year
I really liked its staff as they was quite supportive
Youth festival was enriched with culture.
Infrastructure was widespread in around 1km
Dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose that course because all the subject were of my interest. The faculty was quite supportive and understanding. Their teaching methods were easy and on point. Exam held quaterly basis and final exams yearly basis.
I liked the teaching method of the teachers and the environment in the Library
Annual fest that contains different sports
Workshops and labs infrastructure are very good
Dislikes
Sometimes there is strike for teachers for there accomodation
Classrooms are too old and having bad furniture
Campus area is not good the library is opposite from college
Placement Experience:
In 6th semester students become eligible for the campus placements . There is no. Of mnc's visited in our college every year like tcs, wipro, Infosys, bajaj, decathlon etc. placements ratio is near about 80% . My plans is to study for the masters.
I want to do research in chemistry thats why i chose this course. Facult of the department was really very good. They were very supportive throughout my course. They all were Ph.D holders and working on some research papers. The exams were conducted twice a year semester 1 in December and semester 2 in May. If you study throughout the course that will be not much difficult
University campus is good and there is greenery all around
Food in the mess is top notch and cheap.
Yellow bus metro is there in front of University.
Dislikes
No placements, whatever you do, you don't get placed at good money
Placement Experience:
Although there is campus placement but only a few gets placed there in campus placement, offers are very low, nobody wants to join a tech company on 18k per month, so most of the students don't sit in placements.
Some teachers are really nice, and they help and guide you through various things.
The Library is quite, calm and nice and the digital lab is also great to study.
Dislikes
In hostels, girls are subject to stricter rules than boys.
In the university, outsiders are allowed. Students of Khalsa College and other people are seen more in campus then University students.
The placement rate is below average and they don't help you with internships.
Placement Experience:
The placement rate is not high enough. Students can sit for placements twice in this course, once at the conclusion of the BCA (sixth-semester) or at the end of the MCA (tenth-semester). Very few students get placed in companies. Mainly students get jobs through off campus placements.
Only the fees was affordable. The study material was good
Dislikes
The college is not a College its a strict school
Course Curriculum Overview:
I want to take admission in Bcom but the seats were full. So I was admitted to BSc Economics.
30:400
every teacher is postgraduate and some of them are Ph.D. Holders. The teaching method was superb they teach each concept with example
There were mid-term exams before semester exams. They are easy to crack as teachers explains every details of concept
Education quality is top class. Studies are given full priority. Students need to be present for every class otherwise they'll be left behind . College feels like school sometimes considering the amount of pressure the syllabus puts on a student.
