The college atmosphere is very good and they maintain very clean environment facilities.the feild trip is very exciting and that same time its related to the course
There will be a scholarship based on the merit that they have scored in their past 11th and 12th standard and according to their merit, the scholarship will be decided.
The faculty of the university is very good and gentle towards the students and they are very good intaractive with students and they are more effective to provide the quality education to the students

Dislikes

There are 5 hostel for boys and 3 for girls and food was very worst and i don't like it.
Food that provided in hostels will be sometimes very bad rhat we cant eat.
That i don't like we have no proper internet and no water in blocks

Likes

Environment of hostel to study well as good.
Their is a very useful big library to avail any type of books related to education.
Social welfare programs, club's and placements

Dislikes

It's too far the madurai city students to come from their to clg.
Some what less taste of food in hostel of clg.

Placement Experience:

While coming to my campus placements of college, it was having the way out their placements played a major role in my college for achieving the jobs. In our College average placement package per year is 80000.

Short review on Kalasalingam University

Likes

Staff are friendly with student's, they help both curriculum and non curriculum activities.
The teaching is good with practical sessions.
There are much many aspects we liked here.

Dislikes

The Watchmen do sometimes overacting. That's the problem

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm actually interested in the computer field and also our parents dream to see me in the IT sector. So I thought Computer science is better for my dream growth. So I chose it. I'm very happy about the decision.

College is good when we compare with the fees we pay.

Likes

Library is well equipped and is very useful for the students.
University contains a swimming pool which is also a good one.
Good faculties with whom we can interact with comfort.

Dislikes

Hostels are somewhat old and rusty as they are built in the past.
University is quite strict for students.
Quality of food is not soo good but ok when compared with others.

Placement Experience:

From the 7 th sem of BTech students are eligible for placements. Many companies like Accenture, cognizant, Wipro, Zoho visit the college for recruitment. Highest package is 12 LPA. Average package will be ranging from 4-5LPA.

It has very good placements. The average package was 4-5 LPA. Up to now, the highest package received was 33LPA. It has separate training for SAP who were interested. And for a particular department, the college is tied up with companies like for ECE-Nanochip, and CSE-IBM.

Likes

College teaching way I liked very much .
Teachers are easily friend to us and they are highly talented
Campus was in forest side so beautiful views are available

Dislikes

Foods was average in our hostel so you have adjust it
Nowadays response of our college is very less
Room facilities was good but little bit they want increase

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards placements training was started for you. So you can get good placements. The highest package is 240000 and the lowest package is 120000 and the average package is 100000 and 7.5 cgpa is important for placements training attending and I have a plan for doing business.

The things i didn't liked are staff are very low

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in our college is 95+ for the previous year. This year up to more than 65+ per cent of people were placed on various companies. After 6th sem students will become available for placement. As of now, more than 60+ companies are coming. The highest package is 16 and the average is 4.5.

Very less time preparation will be given for semester exams, some times water also not available in hostels.

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage is 75% 6th semester onwards the selection of the placement will start and training also started. Amazon, Capgemini, cognizant, oracle, Sigma, Wipro, TCS etc., the Highest package was 30LPA, and the average package is 4LPA. My plan was to get placed in good company with a minimum package.

By the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. There are lots of companies visited and some of them are Cognizant, Infosys,capegemini,aptean,tcs, thinksynq and some more. 75 % of students are placed and some of them are going to place. My plan after getting the degree is to get settled in a well-reputed company.

From the 6th semester itself, people become eligible for the internship, and from the 7th-semester campus drives start mostly big companies came at the start of the drive if we have good knowledge then we can easily place nearly 60-70% of people get placed in the 7th semester.

What is your review of Kalasalingam University?

A few of my friends graduated from Kalasalingam University. According to them, the college offers decent academics and infrastructural facilities.

The college is accredited by UGC. Teaching is mostly examination-oriented.
Classes and examinations are conducted on time. You will need to maintain 80% attendance to sit in the examination.
Most faculties are friendly.
In college premises, students need to maintain proper dressing. Wearing jeans isn’t allowed for both boys and girls. Girls are only allowed to wear churidar and shawl.
The hostel accommodation is decent. The 1st year hostels are separate. Hostel rooms have an occupancy of 3 people. The rooms have all basic amenities. The rooms and washrooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. Food offered at the mess is decent.

The reviews of the students are not usually bad. But when you compare Kalasalingam University to other more established universities, it lags a bit behind in the college rankings. But the college rankings are not given by students, so their views vary.

This college really has good facilities, a huge library, green campus, etc. They also have a well experienced and highly cooperative faculty. The college might have some faults which is why the NIRF ranking is not good. But other than that it is quite a good college with sufficient amenities.
