The college atmosphere is very good and they maintain very clean environment facilities.the feild trip is very exciting and that same time its related to the course
There will be a scholarship based on the merit that they have scored in their past 11th and 12th standard and according to their merit, the scholarship will be decided.
The faculty of the university is very good and gentle towards the students and they are very good intaractive with students and they are more effective to provide the quality education to the students

Dislikes

There are 5 hostel for boys and 3 for girls and food was very worst and i don't like it.
Food that provided in hostels will be sometimes very bad rhat we cant eat.
That i don't like we have no proper internet and no water in blocks

Honest review of Kalasalingam University

Likes

Good infrastructure with open accessible to every place.
Sports culture and support and conducting tournaments in the college.
Supportive faculties teaching mostly the practical life and supporting in the placements.

Dislikes

Hostel and the foods as other state people feels quite difficulties.
Lack of outside foods availability in the college because of huge population.
Less network and more people makes difficulties outside the college.

Placement Experience:

The students from 3 year 2 semester will be openly available for internships and prefered jobs by the companies and all final year students who has no arrears are open to take all the oncampus placements. Companies like Accenture, Zoho, Comcast, Kaar, Nutanix are some of the biggest companies with average package of 4LPA are offered and 70 percent of students are getting placed with average package. My plans after the degree is Masters about the current technology Artificial Intelligence.

Beautiful Campus looks and Greener campus
Experential category of my credit system
We can choose our teachers based on CBCS system

Dislikes

We have study some subjects which wont be helpful i our carrer
Food that provided in hostels will be sometimes very bad rhat we cant eat.
I dont like strict rules in hostels that there will be no freedom for us

Placement Experience:

Regarding Placements because of recession effect they were some what less placements this year but got highest package of 50lpa for 3 candidates in Nutanix company and so many were placed in Tcs and also some other companies but previous year our college have got many placements thinking it will be better in coming years.

Passing in the exams are easy compare to other colleges
For research purpose faculty support is too good.
Security for the college girls and hostel girls is good

Dislikes

Some faculty doesn't even know the subject properly.
gym facility in the college campus is worst
There will no proper cultural events happen

Placements are good in the college before this recession period more than 85% students got the job and others got their internships. Because of recession period as of now out of 670 students 240 students got job. while highest package is 53 lakhs and lowest is 2.4 lakh and avg is 4lpa

Environment, good piece of mind to learn, good place to learn
good faculty also available and guide a students for the projects.

Dislikes

Hostels facility should be improved, and main fees structure also
Fees structure should be considered, so that any student can come for learning

Placement Experience:

Ya placements are good. good companies are visited and many students have cracked the interviews and placed. like Wipro, Tech mahindra, TCS, VEE Technology, Saradha motors, etc. Pacakages are good for freshers but they have given a proper declarations for the students who have placed . around 75% of students have god placed in good company. my plan after god a degree to become a business man.

Likes

Infrastructure I am there scenes are good it's good colleges for travellers
Near by location are very good to visit.
Education is very good like we will be given projects every sem

Dislikes

Mess food it's not at all good. mess food need to be changed
Partiallity among Tamil and telugu people in wardens

Placement Experience:

As 2024 software is down we are not having many openings in the company but we are getting many companies in college as 2020-2024 batch highest package is 50 lakhs and average package is 6 lakhs but the 2023 batch got many offers like almost all students placed in that batch so placements are good compared to other colleges

Likes

Good environment, and Nature is so crazy because it is located in near to hills
Yeah, Class in our class totally 36 are there mix of tamil and telugu states students were so friendly in class
And library, it is more peacefull place to learn new things and all books are available

Basically I did a Computer Science and Engineering, In my first year I have struggled and then with help of faculty I gain and improved knowledge how these computer science is working, Coming teaching the teachers are done minimum docterate in their background, Exams are easy to pass compare other colleges because 50% goes to mids, labs and assignments, and another 50% is your end semester marks .

Good collage with better infrastructure

I liked the nature to see and collage infrastructure .
I like the classroom for the 1 years. And faculty are great.
This is very large in size with many buildings.

Dislikes

Food will very bad in taste i don't like it
Campus is very far from city and long to travel.
The is more security with people and worst behaviour

Placement Experience:

In the placement was good and There are many placements for CSE and ECE. Around 40 lakhs will come will there.Intenships will be more and placement are high. Average will be around 4 -5 lpa.Mutil national companys will offer the placements

Likes

Here the facilities are very good and infrastructure is comfortable

Dislikes

Exams will be conducted oftenly and students must have to prepare before they announce the exam date

The faculties are highly educated and some of the professors have Ph.D.s and there is no point in objectifying them and I have chosen this course because I want to become a software engineer and the exams were given by the HODs and it depends on how we have studied the whole concepts.

Things I like classrooms,about placements.
Hostel rooms and college play area and nature.
Faculty members are very friendly with students.

Dislikes

Food is average they want to improve quality.
Hostel fees is high for thelat infrastructure.
Solving any issues regarding to hostel is slow.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester people can get placements mostly by the 5th semester we can get opportunities but small opportunities with companies like Accenture and Tata Mahindra's highest package is 51 lakhs and the average package is 5 lakhs.

What is your review of Kalasalingam University?

A few of my friends graduated from Kalasalingam University. According to them, the college offers decent academics and infrastructural facilities.

The college is accredited by UGC. Teaching is mostly examination-oriented.
Classes and examinations are conducted on time. You will need to maintain 80% attendance to sit in the examination.
Most faculties are friendly.
In college premises, students need to maintain proper dressing. Wearing jeans isn’t allowed for both boys and girls. Girls are only allowed to wear churidar and shawl.
The hostel accommodation is decent. The 1st year hostels are separate. Hostel rooms have an occupancy of 3 people. The rooms have all basic amenities. The rooms and washrooms are well-maintained and cleaned regularly. Food offered at the mess is decent.

The reviews of the students are not usually bad. But when you compare Kalasalingam University to other more established universities, it lags a bit behind in the college rankings. But the college rankings are not given by students, so their views vary.

This college really has good facilities, a huge library, green campus, etc. They also have a well experienced and highly cooperative faculty. The college might have some faults which is why the NIRF ranking is not good. But other than that it is quite a good college with sufficient amenities.
