SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester . There can be some exceptons for excelling students who are eligible from the starting of 5th semester . There are a lot of companies who visit our campus . The 2024 stats were 900 - 1000 comapnies and nearly 5,500 offers made by them . As i mentioned before our college provides a lot of opportunities . The highest and average package were 52 LPA and 7.19 LPA respectively . I dont have idea baout the exact number of students placed or percentage but i will tell you one thing , college underperformed ads compared to the year 2023 (it maybe due to recession or may not) . The number of offers was dropped by 3,000 and companies visited was also less comapred to previous and the highest package in 2023 was 1 CR . All in all there was a significant change in stats . It can be due to the introduction of AI in many fields or recession . My plans are to get my degree and get placement from the college and work in the industry , give it some time and then decide accordingly for the future .

The course is for people want to know about the business environment and want to achieve in the business industry the teaching methods teachers use are useful and the difficulty level to finish the degree is medium it helps to gain knowledge about credits and debits used in income and outcome

placements here are decent not very high-fi not so less but yeah they provide the opportunity now the students have to perform well and get their placements done that the institution provides to them.

For placements inside campus we become eligible from 7th semester onwards. there is a minimum cgpa criteria which we are informed. Companies which reputation come for placement drives : Some of them are : Google Microsoft Amazon TCS INFOSYS wipro HCL Larsen and Toubro Samsung and many more. The highest salary package from what i know was 23 lakhs per annum and on an average a package of 3.5-5 LPA is offered to students.

Students become eligible for campus placement in the 6th and final semester.The average package is 5 lakhs per annum.Almost 90% of students get placed through campus placements.I plan on doing masters in business admissions after getting my degree.

The ECE department is highly linked with maths you should be good at it for excelling in this department. I was good at maths so i took ECE . The curriculum is somewhat outdated and you have to study every thing by yourself gor real life jobs.the course should be made industry based and as the requirement. But they teach us things which are outdated. The difficulty of the examination is moderate you can pass by studying 5 day before exam

After completing our 6th sem we r eligible for our campus placement before cmpltion of the 6th sem we get our placements already by the collg Percentage of the placement is 70% After getting the degree i m planning to go abroad abd do my job there itself

Students will be eligible after completion of 3rd year of theory education in our mallareddy collage then after last year there will be interviews to get an internship in a particular hospital to do based of cgpa percentage also they will provide hospitals after completion of the graduation I will plan to do msc master in Chennai srm University collage after that I will go to teaching filed after completion of my masters 2 year's

The circulum is as per the modern requirements but blended with basic older methods. The CT's after 1 or 2 units help u to complete the stress load on that particular at the end. Atleast 1 exam or assignment per subject will there for a month

So, in your 4th semester, students are asked if they are interested in getting placements, and those interested students are given placement training in their 5th semester and after finishing their final project in the 6th semester, they attend the campus interview. At SRM, for Bcom, mostly banks visit and recruit, so students who are interested in working at banks have a higher chance of getting selected, few corporate firms visit as well. Right after Bcom, the salary provided might be very less varying from 3L-4L per year, Pursuing professional courses like CA,CFA,CPA,FRM, MBA helps in building a better profile for the student and creates a higher chance of getting in big corporate firms, currently I'm pursuing CA and Bcom, after this, my plans are to complete any of the other professional courses mentioned above and also to do my post graduate degree, this way I will be exposed to the better part of the finance in corporate world.
