They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

Things to know about NIT Agartala

Likes

NiT Agartala campus is like wow and weather is very osm .you will not feel very hot or very cold it is like a moderate climate .
Campus is green.greenary is everywhere in the campus
RNT hostel .the modern hostel with all facilities.

Dislikes

Location. As it is around 20km away from Agartala city .

Placement Experience:

From 3 rd year, you may apply for an internship. And from starting of the 4th year companies started to come . Around 300+ companies visited every year. Major companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Paytm, MathWorks, The highest package of 2024 is 52lpa by amazon aws The highest package of 2023 was 2 crore by ( international). If you are in circuital branch and cse then there is 90 percentage placement. If you are in the core branch then there is around 70 percent placement. As I am from civil so my plan is to work in IT companies as I am also doing the coding.

Why to choose NIT Agartala

Likes

Hostel facilities over there was very good
Cultural activities were very good and enjoyable
Faculties are well qualified and experienced

Dislikes

Campus placements can be improved by assuring more placements to students
Internship facilities can be improved by the college

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Infosys, L&T, Tata, Ashok Leyland, and IBM used to visit every year. In fact BPCL, Powergrid, and Vedanta also used to visit and they prefer core branch students for placement

Good campus life and helpful faculty too many opportunities are available for students

Placement Experience:

after 6th-semester students become eligible for placement that is pre-placement offer google amazon Microsoft capegimi caterpillar tata motors lumsrg and turbo Deloitte etc the highest package in the electrical branch in 2023 is 52 LPA and the average is 9LPA 90 PERCENT OF STUDENTS ARE placed in my branch after completing my btech I want to get placed in Google with good package

An insider's view àof NIT Agartala

Our campus is very nice. The campus is spreaded over a land of 365 acres in beautiful green vegetation.
In our college the infrastructure is very nice. Specially the hostels are so premium (eg. RNT).
We have a lake in our college where we can go for a walk in the evening and chill there for some time

Dislikes

Faculty members are not upto the mark. And specially the director is a very narrow minded.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies visited: Google, Oracle, Nagarro, TCS, Silicon Lab, MathWorks, Amdocs, Texas Instruments, Samsung, Vedanta, L&T, and Bharat Petroleum. There are a lot of offers from these above companies. Highest package: 53 Lpa (Google) Average package: 6-7 Lpa 90 per cent of students get placed. After getting my degree I'll go for a job.

Almost Every Point About NIT Agartala

Campus life is very pleasant campus is full of greenery and it’s very big so we will have alot of things to explore here
Despite of having alot of courses campus placement is very much decent almost 90 percent of the students are placed every year.
Sports and CCA activities have some importance in the campus and alot of activities are happening throughout the year.

Dislikes

You will miss your city life city is little far from the campus so you will miss those things.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, the company started visiting the campus and the students are starting to sitting for intern drive and the placement starts in the 7th semester. Almost Every Big Name in the tech and core industry visited our campus and hire students some of them are Google, Amazon, AWS, Tekion, Oracle, O9 Solution, PWC, BPCL etc.

NIT Agartala pros and cons

Likes

College campus size is very big. And all the department and hostel are at some distances.
It has a very big and good sports complex. With almost all the sports available.
Library, all kinds of books are available and digital library also available.

Dislikes

Very much isolated from city. And little language barrier.

Placement Experience:

At the start of the 4th year company starts to come for placement. There are many companies that have visited some are Amazon, Google, Adobe, Reliance, BHEL, Tekion, Oracle, Infoedge, Infotech, IDFC first bank, Intuit, PayPal etc. The average package of my department is 11lpa. Around 80% studet\nt have been placed.

Rabindranath Tagore hostel is very nice.
Sports Complex of NIT Agartala is best in India.
Campus life is very amazing for all the students.

Dislikes

Aryabhatta hostel is very old and not so good.
Two branches are in only a single building.
In time for girls hostel is too early which is a very bad thing.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit NIT Agartala like Amazon, Google, Infosys, TCS, Deloitte, HCL, Nagarro, Tekion, Oracle and they provide a very high package of more than 15 LPA. Highest package was 53 Lakhs and average package was 7 lakhs in Software Engineer role. 90 percent students get placed in reputed companies.

From the seventh semester, placement starts for all students of different branches placement ratio of computer science students are higher than that of civil engineering. Near about all students get placed in different companies.

The campus is quite good to look around and to accomodate.
The placements in the circuital branches are also good and if studied decently then would definitely be placed well.

Dislikes

There is some sort of strictness towards the attendance in branches barring CSE

Placement Experience:

The placement season begins at the ending of the sixth semester and the beginning of the seventh semester and goes on. A big number of companies approximately 150 in number visit the campus to hire students. The highest placement from EIE this year was 37 LPA and the majority of the students barring one or two were placed.

I chose mechanical because I was interested in automobiles and machines. At that time faculty-student ratio was around 4:1 All the faculties are highly qualified and very helpful, and they chose mechanical because I was also very interested in the teaching methods. The schedule has been perfectly maintained.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
