Likes

They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
*there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.

Dislikes

The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

Captivating NIT Agartala

Likes

NIT Agartala campus is very beautiful,green and clean.
There are a lot of opportunities for sports.There are very humble and caring semiors.
Hostel rooms are very big and clean.Mess food is also of my liking.

Dislikes

Campus is very far from main city.It takes one hour to travel there.
There are not many places to visit in the main city.
One can not find a very good fast food here and it is very costly.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements after 3rd year. Many companies visit for placements, numbers may be around 250-300. Here average placements are 7-8 lpa and highest 52 lpa. Almost all the students get placed. I want to get placed in a reputed tech company.

Facts of nit agartala

Likes

Lust green campus, it has a campus of 365 acres which is quite good and mostle green
Cultural activites and clubs - it has lots number of clubs like desire for dance club and malhar for singing club.
Fest - MOKSHA is famous cultural fest which obviously fabulous, we enjoy a lot here.

Dislikes

Professor-Here professor are very strict towards attendence.
City exposure- city is far away from college so you will not get any shopping mall , cinema hall near nit.
Low level canteen- Canteen are not good enough, you will get only some selected items in canteens.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, you are eligible for campus placement and after the 4th semester, you are eligible for internship. There are lots of companies visited here in 2022 there are about 300 companies visited here the core as well as non-core companies. In 2022 the highest package was 60 lpa by software companies. The average package in the computer science branch is 15.3 lpa and for ECE it is 14.3 for civil and mechanical is about 8 lpa. Almost 100 percent are placed in CS and ECE, And 70-80 percent are civil and mechanical. My plans after getting a degree are to pursue higher studies.

I liked the homestate people here they are of welcoming nature
Fest and celebration activities of college
Average Placement for production is around 10 lpa

Dislikes

Location is very far for North Indian students
Main city is 15 kms away from the college

Placement Experience:

More than 150 companies visit every year which recruit students for every sector like education, finance analyst, software developer, etc. Companies that visited last year are Deloitte, Accenture, jp Morgan, byjus, tcs, Bajaj, and hpcl ongc. Almost 80 percent of students were placed.

Second best nit in north east

Placement statistics is appreciable here
Faculties are very experienced amd helpfull
Sports complex is very big and all sports are available

Dislikes

Here veg restaurant is very rare most people are non veg
Market is very far so for basic things we have to travel very far
We cant do clubbing and other stadium of our stadium

Placement Experience:

Most students are placed. Some students who go for higher studies circuital branches have the best placement. For the core branch psu also comes like ongc and hplc. The average package for mechanical is approximately 8 lpa.

Likes

I liked the culture of agartala and home state people
Sports stadium is of national level and newly constructed
Placement statistics are improving every year

Dislikes

Online shopping takes too much time for delivery
Sports gym equipments needs to be upgraded

Students are eligible for placement in 4th year either on campus or if your CV is good then you can apply for off campus also. there are software companies like Cognizant Accenture amazon and core companies like hpcl ongc. there is more than 90 per cent placement for circuital branches

Good review for NIT Agartala

Likes

Theres an excellent faculty in the campus which is mandatory.
There's is competitive coding in the college which is important.
There would be good college life here and good hotel food for south guys too.

Dislikes

Theres a high home state reservation so that the guys who are really talented will not make it to here if they don't be in the top.
college timings for Ece are more compared to other branches.
It is too far from my home which so i cannot go home every time when i want.

Placement Experience:

There are pretty good college placements and students get placed from 7th sem. There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like Google, Amazon, FAN companies will be visited here. The highest package is 54 lacks per annum and 13 LPA for ECE and approx 12 LPA for Cse and 8 LPA in total cllg. More than 90 percent get placed and my plan is to do a good job after my degree.

Underrated nit- nit agartala

Likes

I liked the campus very green and big less pollution
Girls to the boys ratio is good here than other engineering colleges
Rnt hostel is new good clean and hygienic

Dislikes

Some of Faculties are not upto the mark we have to study from YouTube
Grass have grown too much around our hostel and ground
There is no sports coach for any sport we have to train ourself

Placement Experience:

Average placement for cse is 17-18 lakhs for ece it is around 14-15 for ee it is around 10 and for mech, it is 7-8 approx seniors say if you do coding consistently there are a lot of companies who hire like Deloitte Accenture cred Google for mech there are public sector companies like ONGC Android hpcl etc there is 90 percent placement in electrical branch.

highly educated faculty and very kind to students.
campus placement is very good , it is really well all around India.
campus is very nice, hostels and mess is very good,

Dislikes

the college is in very out region of India
northern students can not go because of very long distance.
in very few branches placement is not up to mark

Course Curriculum Overview:

i have chhosen this corse because , iwanted to explore machinary world. faculty:student is 1 ratio 60 around. faculties are very promising, helpful and well qualified. there is sessional as well as semester exam in my college & copy checking is very stricy.

I liked the hostel given for the first year student.
I like the sports I personally like cricket.
The buildings are also good here they are seemed to be good.

Dislikes

I disliked the mess for giving poor food.
I disliked the construction of the of the lab.
The shortage of equipment at the lab and the equipment alsobad.

Placement Experience:

From the third year means six semister the students are eligible for placements many companies visit this college and many of these offer the highest package in this college is 1.2 cr and the median package is 1200000.

I disliked the mess food the taste is not good

From the third year it means the six semesters you become eligible for campus placement. There are so many companies visiting and many of them make offers for the students. The highest package of our college is 1.2 courses and the medium package of our hostel is 12 lakh.

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala

Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.

Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
